“Hello..?” (DH) Daehyun pulled the phone away from his phone before looking at the screen. He furrowed his eyebrows a bit as he pushed himself up to a sitting position. “Huh? Did he hang up?” (DH)

With a small sigh, Daehyun set the phone down next to him before leaning back against the couch. If it was something important, Young Jae should call him back.. hopefully. Still, it was pulling at his curiosity quite a bit. What exactly was it that Young Jae wanted to tell him?

There was no point thinking about it now. He’ll just ask Young Jae about it again later if he doesn’t call him back now. After all, anything could have happened for the call to have suddenly just dropped like that.

“H-Huh..?” (YJ) Young Jae pulled the phone away from his ear as he looked at his phone. His slapped his forehead as he shook his head slightly, just now realizing that his phone had died. He should have realized it sooner, considering he had sent a text to Himchan not that long ago, but.. it didn’t matter now. He would just have to tell Daehyun later what had happened.

With a small sigh, Young Jae placed his phone into his pocket before looking up at Eunji. Eunji had already pulled out a board game and was now setting everything up on top of the bed. Once she was done, she looked up at Young Jae and smiled. “Taadaa! I found monopoly! Wanna play?” (EJ)

“Monopoly..? With only two people?” (YJ) It wasn’t necessarily a good idea. It would literally take forever for it to end and by then, they probably would have given up in advance considering how long this game took. But, it technically was a good game to pass the time. “I gue-” (YJ)

Three knocks on the door cut Young Jae off mid-sentence, causing the both of them to look up at the door with curiosity. Eunji furrowed her eyebrows a bit before getting to her feet. “Who is it?” (EJ)

No answer. With a small shrug, Eunji made her way over to the door before opening it up. Young Jae’s eyes widened once he saw whom it was, but Eunji only stared in confusion as she slightly titled her head. “Yeah? What is it?” (EJ)

“You’re Eunji, right? I’m here to pick up Young Jae.” (SY) Eunji turned to look at Young Jae, whom still looked surprised, before turning back to look at Sooyoung. She scratched the side of her head before leaning on one leg.

“Did Young Jae ask you to come? His clothes are still drying.” (EJ)

“No. He didn’t ask me to come. Himchan did.” (SY) Sooyoung had just been on her way to go visit Himchan when that certain male had sent her a text, asking her to go to Eunji’s dorm room to pick up Young Jae. Of course, she had to make inquiries here and there to figure out where Eunji’s room was, but she had managed nonetheless. “But.. if his clothes are still drying, then do you mind if I stay here and wait then?” (SY)

Eunji thought for a moment before smiling and taking a step back. “I don’t mind at all! We were about to play monopoly, so you should play too!” (EJ)

Sooyoung stepped into the room, but her eyes remained glued to the board game that was currently sitting on top of the bed. That cursed game just seemed to be wherever she didn’t want it to be. She quite disliked that game to be honest, but.. if they were supposed to wait for Young Jae’s clothes to dry, then so be it. She would play and she will make sure to wipe their faces on the floor once she won too.. if they ever got to that point.

As the two girls sat down, Young Jae moved a bit closer so that he could actually reach the game board without having to try and reach for the pieces. The three of them sorted through the game pieces before picking the ones that they quite liked the most; Young Jae had the shoe, Eunji had the dog, and Sooyoung had chosen the car.

“So.. Let’s roll the dice and decide who gets to go first.” (EJ) Picking up the dice, Eunji shook her hand as she looked at the two. Neither one seemed to be nervous about the roll, but of course.. why would they be? It’s not like their lives depended on who went first or who went last after all.

Daehyun sighed as he continued watching television. Why was he still watching? There wasn’t really anything on at the moment that caught his attention and despite what Young Jae said, he still refused to eat without the younger male.

Why was he like this? He hadn’t ever resisted the urge to eat before and now.. he was acting as if he was only allowed to eat whenever Young Jae was here. There just had to be some sort of reason behind it.

Getting up from his seat, Daehyun made his way to the fridge. Opening it up, he crouched down as he looked through what they currently had. Well.. maybe he could have some sort of snack until Young Jae came home. That wouldn’t ruin his appetite.. hopefully.

Taking a hold of one of the containers inside, Daehyun his lips as he stared down at the cheesecake that was currently sitting in the transparent container. Just one slice of cheesecake shouldn’t hurt, right? Even his tummy was agreeing with him!

Once he was standing, he closed the fridge before making his way over to the utensils. Pulling out a fork, he made his way back to the living room before sitting down with a satisfied sigh. Just as he opened the container, he paused as he looked out the window that was currently behind the television.

He did wish Young Jae was home already. Daehyun missed Young Jae quite a bit, though he knew that Young Jae would be home within a few more hours. Until then... maybe he could figure out his feelings while he was by himself.

Looking back down at the cheesecake, he grinned happily as he stabbed his fork into it.

“I’ll go check on your clothes.” (EJ) Eunji stood up from the bed and with a small smile, turned and made her way out of the room.

Once the door was closed, Sooyoung turned to look at Young Jae, whom was currently still focused on the board game. She moved a bit closer to Young Jae before poking his knee. He looked up, noticing the serious look on her face. “W-What is it..?” (YJ)

“Does she know that you’re Hana?” (SY) Young Jae thought on it, but he wasn’t exactly certain about the answer to that question. However, so far, there didn’t seem to be any sort of indication that she knew. So, all Young Jae did was shake his head in response.

Sooyoung let out a small, relieved sigh as she leaned back a bit. Young Jae bit his bottom lip as he tried to think. Sure, he had wanted to keep it a secret, but.. he also felt like Eunji deserved to know the truth. “Is it.. really that bad for Eunji to find out?” (YJ)

Looking back over at Young Jae, Sooyoung scratched the side of her head as she shrugged. “I don’t really know how Eunji would react if she did find out. It’s probably best not to tell her.” (SY)

Well.. that was true. Eunji could lash out at him for all he knew. If that happened, then if he ended up getting hurt, he knew it would only worry Daehyun. If he wasn’t with Daehyun, then he didn’t care if he got hurt. If it helped Eunji relieve her anger in any sort of way, then it was fine. Just as long as he didn’t get hurt too much, then he would endure the attacks. Still... it was best to listen to Sooyoung. “Okay.. I’ll try to make sure that she doesn’t find out.” (YJ)

“Good. Now, once she comes back with your clothes, we’ll leave. I heard that Himchan wants to ask us something important.” (SY) Young Jae nodded, having almost completely forgotten about Himchan. He probably would have texted him by now, but his phone was currently dead. Still.. he had technically seen Sooyoung on her phone, so hopefully she had texted him already.

As they sat there waiting, Young Jae looked around. Minutes had ticked by, but it seemed like Eunji was taking a while. How far away was the laundry room from here? It didn’t really make much sense for him, but that may have been because when he lived with Himchan, they weren’t all that far from the laundry room.

Almost as if on cue, the door opened and in came Eunji. She smiled happily as she made her way up to Young Jae before holding the clothes out to him. “Here you go Young Jae! I made sure that everything was a-okay before folding it up!” (EJ)

“Ah.. thank you! I’ll go change now.” (YJ) Getting up onto his feet, Young Jae grabbed his things before walking towards the bathroom. Eunji bit her bottom lip as she had just barely held her hand out towards Young Jae before stopping herself.

Once Young Jae was in the bathroom, Eunji let out a small sigh as she sat down. Looking over at Sooyoung, she smiled happily as she folded her hands. “Isn’t Young Jae such a nice and good looking guy?” (EJ)

Sooyoung raised a single brow as she crossed on leg over the other. Did Eunji have a ...? No. That couldn’t be the case. It hadn’t been that long since Eunji and Daehyun had broken up. Would Eunji have gotten over that so quickly? Well, it did vary from person to person, so it was definitely possible. “I guess so. He’s not really my type, so I can’t say.” (SY)

“Hey! Do you know if he’s single?” (EJ) Yep. Sooyoung’s thoughts were confirmed now. It does seem like Eunji is quite.. infatuated with Young Jae at the moment, but she wasn’t going to be getting with Young Jae any time soon.

“He’s taken already.” (SY) Eunji pouted as she slouched in her seat. She had hoped for a positive answer, but it just seemed like her luck was never actually with her nowadays. With a small sigh, Eunji began to pack the game up.

“Darn.. Why are all the good guys taken?” (EJ) Eunji neatly packed things here and there as she let out yet another sigh. “First Daehyun leaves.. and I thought he was a good guy, but he goes and runs off with some tramp and now Young Jae is already taken. Hey..” (EJ)

Eunji looked up at Sooyoung, whom just stared at her as she waited for her to continue her thought. Eunji placed the cover back onto the box and pushed the game off to the side before leaning in a bit closer. “Do you know what’s going on with Daehyun? Like.. do you know the girl is that he’s dating?” (EJ)

Sooyoung thought on her answer, trying to figure out what exactly was best to respond with. Once she was satisfied with the answer she had decided on, she adjusted herself in her seat before looking back at Eunji. “No. I don’t. Why?” (SY)

“Mm.. the girl looked really familiar, but.. I couldn’t really get a good look. You know.. now that I think about it.. Young Jae and the girl look a lot alike.” (EJ) Eunji gasped as she moved a bit more forward, causing Sooyoung to feel a bit worried about what Eunji may have realized. Had she found out Young Jae’s secret? “What if Young Jae and that girl are siblings or even cousins?!” (EJ)

She had to pull the direction of this conversation away from Young Jae. How she was going to go about that, she wasn’t necessarily certain, but she had to come up with something. “Does it matter who she is? I thought you and Daehyun weren’t together anymore.” (SY)

Eunji frowned a bit as she slouched in her seat once again. She folded her arms as she looked towards the shaded window, her eyebrows furrowing a bit. “That doesn’t mean that I don’t have feelings for Daehyun. I mean... I was the one who asked him out! But.. I guess I should get over him already. I mean.. he didn’t even really have feelings for me.” (EJ)

With a small shrug, Eunji was about to lay back down, but her plans were cut short as she heard the bathroom door open. The two girls looked over at Young Jae, whom stepped out of the bathroom while dusting his jacket off. “Okay. Let’s get going Young Jae.” (SY)

“Oh.. Are you two leaving already?” (EJ) Eunji looked from Young Jae, to Sooyoung, then back to Young Jae before pouting a bit. Young Jae couldn’t help but feel bad about leaving her alone, but he hadn’t even planned to spend this much time here to begin with.

“Yea.. We have to get going. Himchan is waiting for me and Sooyoung.” (YJ) As much as he would have loved to stay and play monopoly a bit longer, he had kept Himchan waiting long enough. With the fact that his phone died, he could already feel Himchan’s impatience starting to attack him.

“Oh.. well... okay. Oh! Wait! Young Jae.” (EJ) Well, Young Jae hadn’t necessarily moved from his spot, so telling him to wait wasn’t really necessary. But, at least it kept him from moving towards the door.

Getting to her feet, Eunji practically skipped over to Young Jae as she took a hold of Young Jae’s hands. He looked down at her hands in confusion before looking back up at Eunji. She smiled happily as she gave Young Jae’s hands a light squeeze. “Do you have a girlfriend?” (EJ)

“A... girlfriend?” (YJ) Eunji nodded happily, waiting for his response. She may have already asked Sooyoung, but she wanted to hear it directly from Young Jae’s lips.

Young Jae wasn’t necessarily sure how to answer. However, it was best to tell the truth. He knew that Daehyun would have wanted him to do so. “Um.. no.. I don’t. I-” (YJ)

“Oh! So you’re single?!” (EJ) Young Jae let out a small sigh before shaking his head. She looked at him in confusion, but nothing really seemed to come to mind.

“I.. have a boyfriend.” (YJ) Almost instantly, Eunji pulled her hands away. It wasn’t necessarily the kind of reaction Young Jae had expected, but it was a reaction nonetheless. From the expression on Eunji’s face, Young Jae could only assume that she seemed uneasy.

“I’m sorry, but.. please leave.” (EJ) Was something wrong? Eunji had seemed to change almost completely after receiving that bit of news. However, he did have to get going anyway so it wasn’t much of a problem.

“A-Alright then.” (YJ) Turning, Young Jae walked over to the door and opened it up. Sooyoung followed after him before they both stepped out of the room. They had turned around to say bye to Eunji, but the girl was still standing where she currently was. Young Jae looked at Sooyoung with a questioning look on her face, but she merely shrugged in response.

Walking back up to the doorway, Young Jae took a hold of the doorknob before glancing over at Eunji once more. “Um.. We’re heading out now.” (YJ)

“Yea..” (EJ) Young Jae waited for a moment, expecting a bit more out of Eunji. However, when nothing else seemed to escape from Eunji’s lips, Young Jae took a step back as he slowly closed the door.

Once the door was closed, Eunji let out a small sigh before sitting down on her bed.

Young Jae had a boyfriend? That meant she literally had little to no chance to be with Young Jae. Well.. it didn’t matter. Eunji would just have to find someone else. That someone will definitely come by soon. She just had that gut feeling inside of her.

“Young Jae! You took so long!” (HC) Himchan took hold of Young Jae’s shoulders as he furrowed his eyebrows and stared somewhat angrily at his best friend. Young Jae blinked innocently before rubbing the back of his head.

“It’s not like I could help it. The dryer took a while..” (YJ) It was technically true. About an hour to wash, assuming the mud actually came off completely. Then there was the drying process, which would take about an hour and a half to possibly even two hours. Either way, it’s not like he could control the washing and drying process. “Anyway.. What did you want to talk about?” (YJ)

Himchan thought for a moment as he pulled his hands away. Folding his arms, he looked from Sooyoung to Young Jae before letting out a small sigh. “I’m thinking of dating Yongguk..” (HC)

Both Sooyoung and Young Jae had a look of surprise on their faces as they stared at Himchan. Young Jae didn’t know how he felt about this. Should he be supportive? Should he be angry? Should he feel betrayed? No... he should try to understand Himchan’s perspective. Himchan hadn’t dated anyone since he has known him and the fact that Himchan was even thinking about dating Yongguk must mean that he was serious about his decision. “Do you... really like him?” (YJ)

“Not sure.. Might as well give it a try, right?” (HC) Himchan hadn’t really thought he would even be considering such a decision in only a week. However, Yongguk just seemed to manage to change his mind on this. That’s why he needed their thoughts on the topic. He looked over at Sooyoung, whom seemed to still be thinking on the topic. “What do you two think?” (HC)

Sooyoung looked up before looking away. She wasn’t sure. From whatever she had heard, she had heard that Yongguk was just complete trouble. Maybe Himchan just had a thing for troublesome males, but that’s all she has heard. She didn’t really know much about Yongguk to begin with, so she couldn’t really give an unbiased opinion. “I’m not sure.. I’d have to question him myself before I decide.” (SY)

“Um.... Y-Yea. I agree with Sooyoung. Can we question him first and.. can Daehyun come?” (YJ) Himchan rubbed the back of his head as he tried to think. He wasn’t necessarily sure if it was a good idea to have Daehyun come along. After their last incident, which he had heard from Yongguk himself, he was rather certain that trouble may occur yet again.

“I guess.. that’s the best decision. Does this Friday sound good for you two?” (HC) The two nodded before Himchan let out a small sigh. “Alright. I’ll tell Yongguk. So.. let’s go out for a bit?” (HC)

“Okay.” (YJ)

With a small, tired sigh, Young Jae unlocked the front door before opening it up. He was a bit tired from having to think about his decision, but he really didn’t know how he felt about Himchan and Yongguk dating. It was Himchan’s life after all, so he couldn’t exactly tell Himchan not to do it. Now, if something bad happened, then Young Jae would have to step in. Still, it didn’t matter for the moment.

With the front door closed and locked up, Young Jae turned before he began heading up the steps. It was already nighttime, but he was sure Daehyun would be awake still. Daehyun usually doesn’t sleep until eleven or even midnight, so he could expect to see Daehyun’s smiling face once he stepped in.

Unlocking the door that led to their area of the house, Young Jae opened it up before stepping inside. Looking around, he smiled a bit as he closed and locked the door. Slowly, he slipped his bag and coat off as he began walking towards the living room. “Daehyun? Are you home?” (YJ)

At first, he didn’t really see anyone nor did he hear anyone. However, the fact that the television screen was on meant only one thing..

Walking up to the couch, he peeked over it before smiling. His eyes landed on Daehyun, whom was currently sleeping with a blanket wrapped around him. Well, it was only covering Daehyun from the waist down and judging by how Daehyun looked, he seemed to be a bit cold at the moment.

Young Jae made his way around the sofa before crouching down in front of Daehyun. He held his smile as he pulled the blanket up to cover Daehyun up to his shoulders. He already knew that Daehyun was at most in his underwear, so he must have been pretty cold at the moment.

Getting to his feet, he had just taken a step towards the kitchen before a hand took a hold of his. He looked back down, his eyes landing on Daehyun, whom currently had a sleep-filled smile on his face. Even Daehyun’s voice made it evident that he was tired. “Hey... you’re finally home.” (DH)

“I’m sorry.. did I make you worry?” (YJ) Daehyun shook his head as he pushed himself up to a sitting position. He adjusted the blanket around him before looking back up at Young Jae.

“I waited. We can finally eat now.” (DH) Young Jae’s eyes widened as he stared down at a still sleepy, yet happy looking Daehyun. He still hasn’t eaten yet?! Their call from earlier had been five hours ago!

“Why didn’t you eat?! I told you to eat without me!” (YJ) Daehyun held his smile as he reached up and rubbed his right eye.

“I wanted to wait for you... Eating is more enjoyable with you around.” (DH) Young Jae pouted a bit as he sat down next to Daehyun. Daehyun held his smile as he wrapped an arm around Young Jae’s shoulders, looking at him as he leaned forward and pressed his lips softly against Young Jae’s cheek. “Can you get the food..? I kind of.. can’t get up yet.” (DH)

Young Jae pulled away a bit as he looked at Daehyun. He stared at him in confusion, tilting his head a bit. “What do you mean by that..? Are you hurt?” (YJ)

“N-No.. I... It’s nothing. Can you get the food though? I’m just a little tired is all.” (DH) Young Jae nodded as he got to his feet. Daehyun smiled yet again, though Young Jae couldn’t help but worry.

As he walked to the kitchen, all sorts of thoughts ran through his head. Was Daehyun sick? Or maybe Daehyun was just too weak from having not eaten all day. Was that a possibility? He was sure that as long as Daehyun at least had something to drink, then there shouldn’t have been much of a problem for him to go just one day without food. Even then, Daehyun had eaten breakfast this morning, so it really shouldn’t have been a problem for Daehyun to move.

Or.. was it because Daehyun wasn’t wearing any clothes.

Yea, that made the most sense. Daehyun didn’t like being seen without clothes and if he got up, it would cause the blanket to shift too much. Well.. unless he wrapped it around him enough. It was a pretty big blanket after all and it shouldn’t have been too much of a problem for Daehyun to be able to keep himself covered.

Just as Young Jae placed his hand on the handle of the fridge, he jumped as he felt arms wrap around him and a body press again him from behind. He turned red as he realized the blanket was around them. With his thoughts from before, he couldn’t help but think dirty thoughts. Still.. he had to tell Daehyun about Himchan.

“Daehyun..?” (YJ)

“Yea..?” (DH) They stood there for a moment in silence. Young Jae bit his bottom lip as he tried to summon the courage within him before reaching up and placing his hand on Daehyun’s arm.

“I.. We have to go meet Himchan, Sooyoung and... Yongguk on Friday.” (YJ) He could feel Daehyun tense up a bit, but Daehyun only let out a soft sigh. He felt Daehyun’s place his chin on his shoulder before pulling him into a tighter embrace.

“Why?” (DH)

“Himchan.. he.. he’s thinking of dating Yongguk.” (YJ) Daehyun let out a small sigh before tilting his head a bit and resting his head against Young Jae’s. “So um.. he... he wants our opinion on it. Will you come..?” (YJ)

“I.. I guess I’ll come. Yongguk used to be my best friend so.. I guess I’ll at least try and take this opportunity to clear things up with him. Still...” (DH) Daehyun let out a small sigh as he closed his eyes. “If Himchan wants to date him, then I guess it’s alright. His choice, right?” (DH)

Young Jae nodded, a bit happy that Daehyun had the same thoughts as him. It was interesting that they could have similar thoughts sometimes. “Anyway... Let’s eat! I’m starving..” (DH)

Sorry for taking so long >.<...
I went to Anime Matsuri (Anime Convention) last weekend..
And I was actually not feeling well this entire week >.<..
Buut I feel a bit better now.
So I hope that this chapter is alright ;;...
