After four hours straight of non-stop math questions, they finished.

"Hey, my mom won't come home until midnight," Jiro told Selina.

It was eight right now.

"What about your dad?" Selina asked.

"He doesn't come home."

"Oh, that ."

"Sure does."

"Wanna play ping pong?"

"....sure."

Selina pulled a ping pong table out of nowhere.

They started playing.

"hya!"

"Oy!

They made very weird sounds as they hit the ball. They were still rallying when someone walked down the stairs.

Selina shrieked. Jiro dived for the nearest hiding place. It was Katie.

"Hey, who are you playing with?"

"Uh, I played wall ping pong, with the table."

"That doesn't make sense! Whatever. I just thought I heard some noises, thought they were thieves, if it's you, it's fine. I'm gone."

As soon as Katie disappeared, Jiro reappeared.

"You at lying, don't you. You can't play wall ping pong with a table. If it's with a wall, it's WALL ping pong. And, I won," Jiro said.

"Umph. I totally won. Want a rematch?" Selina asked.

"Sure."

This time they played leisurely, asking eachother questions, telling old stories. One question popped up, accidentally out of Selina's mouth.

"...Who do you like?" Selina asked.

"Oh, only if you tell me first."

"Tch, you know who."

"Is it Calvin?"

"Nope..."

-silence-

Selina smashed the ball. Jiro went to retrieve the ball.

"You."

"Still?"

"Well, who do you like now?"

-another silence-

"You," Jiro whispered. Selina's heart pumped. Loud. "Will find out soon enough."

Selina slumped. "WHAT!? ARE YOU GONNA ASK HER SOON!? WHEN!? TOMORROW!? PLEASE TELL ME! I DON'T LIKE GUESSING~!"

"Surprise, you'll find out tomorrow." Jiro started laughing.

"How 'bout let's go to the park," Selina suggested. If Jiro continued to laugh, she would get caught.

"Oh, I call dibs for swing!" Jiro yelled.

"SHH! There are two, you dummy, BUT. I GET THE ... BABY SWING."

The question still lingered in Selina's head. She would be excited for tomorrow, except the girl wouldn't be her.
