Awkward.

An adjective. According to the dictionary, it’s a word used to describe something that causes or makes a person feel embarassed. And if you look very closely, squint your eyes a little harder, you’d probably see Seunghyun and Dara’s name under it.

They are two awkward people too awkward to be around one another and therefore, causes awkward situations.

Now their friends, who are either concerned or are just poking fun, decide to remedy this situation by giving them alcohol on a Valentines Party. Lots of them, because we all know that alcohol loosens someone’s inhibitions.

In Dara and Seunghyun’s case, it made them completely crazy.

They started confronting each other about their awkwardness and it made an amusing scene, until Dara passes out and Seunghyun topples over the bar. Let’s just say that alcohol didn’t really help that much.

Aside from getting a massive hangover, Dara got something else. No, not a hickey, for she is not a woman with loose morals. The morning after the incident, her right hand seemed to acquire a mind of its own.

She just woke up like her right hand was possessed by an evil twin. There were days when it was docile and obedient, responding to her brain's instructions instead of instructions from Heaven-knows-what-where-and-who. Other days, it was really enthusiastic – like a child on sugar rush. It bugged her to no end, especially when she wanted to take a nap – it kept moving around and making finger-men and walking around the sheets. Which is no big deal. She got it all under control.

She had wanted to say sorry for the way she had acted. But Seunghyun has a different schedule from hers and their paths never crossed.

Until today.

Sensing her opportunity, Dara moved and walked resolutely towards where he had his back towards her. She was mentally rehearsing her speech and this was how it was supposed to go:
