-     Move in Day for Transfer Students     -

Carrying his duffle bags up the stairs to his new dorm room, Luhan starts to break a sweat.  ‘I am so not built for heavy lifting…’ Luhan thinks to himself as he reaches the third floor.  Guiding himself through the busy hallways, which were packed with new students, Luhan manages to get his foot caught in the strap of one of his bags.  Tumbling forward with nothing to break his fall, Luhan ends up landing on something a bit softer than the floor.  Hoping he didn’t just tackle someone to the ground on his first day in the building, Luhan quickly looks down and realizes that yes, he has just landed on someone.

And not just any someone, but a very familiar someone…

Luhan curses to himself repeatedly and before he can get up to stand properly, a pair of hands grab his thighs, preventing him from rolling off the body he so happened to land on. 

“What do you know? Luhan! What a coincidence running into you…or rather you running into me.” said Sehun, with a smug grin on his face.

Not wanting the glances of passerby’s to continue, Luhan blushes and yanks Sehun’s hands off him, standing up and grabbing at his bags.  Sehun smirks and stays on the floor, looking up at Luhan.

“Aren’t you going to help me up?” asks Sehun, looking a bit overly helpless considering his build. 

Luhan apologizes and offers his hand to Sehun, which he gladly accepts, and is hoisted off the floor.  Luhan turns away and heads down the hall to his assigned dorm room.  Sehun watches him hurry down the hallway and he smiles to himself, thinking about how much fun he’s going to have this year.

When Luhan gets to his room, he finds it completely set up, thanks to Baekhyun being his roommate.  Baekhyun had requested him before the semester started so Luhan had sent his bedding early, and his friend had kindly arranged their room. 

As he’s unpacking his clothes, Luhan hears a knock on the door, telling who ever it was to come in. 

“Luhan! How’d you get here before me? I wanted to welcome you in,” said Baekhyun, “but doesn’t the room look good? It took Chanyeol and I forever.” Luhan laughed and hugged his friend who’d seen just a few days ago at the party.

“I actually just got here, wanna help me unpack?” asked Luhan, as he tossed a bag to Baekhyun, who just rolled his eyes and started to help.

“Oh by the way, a few of my friends and I are going out tonight and you’re free to join us.” Baekhyun mentioned, glancing at Luhan.  

Luhan nodded at the offer as he put the last of his shirts away.  “I just have to shower and get dressed, but I’ll be ready to go after that.”

Baekhyun smiled and stood up. “Okay, while you’re in the shower I’ll get ready in here.  Don’t take too long! We have to leave at 7 and it’s already 6:10.”

After showering and throwing on jeans and a t-shirt, Luhan met up with Baekhyun and his friends.  He didn’t recognize anyone except Chanyeol, who was standing right beside Baekhyun as always.  Only a few seconds after Luhan had caught up with his friends, he felt a pair of hands wrap around his waist from behind.  Startled, Luhan whips his head around and see’s Sehun, calmly pressing his chest to Luhan’s back.

“Hey cutie.” is all Sehun said, as he started rubbing circles on Luhan’s waist.

Feeling embarrassed and bit disrespected, Luhan once again pulled Sehun’s hands off him and shifted closer to Baekhyun.  Chanyeol gave Sehun a look of warning, to which Sehun replied with, “What?”

As they were walking through the busy streets of Seoul, night began to creep in as the sky got darker.  The neon lights outside the many shops were beginning to turn on and Luhan smiled, fully enjoying both the scenery and the distance Sehun was giving him. 

Sehun was walking along with everyone else, yet not totally paying attention, as he couldn’t help but think why he got a bad reaction from both Luhan and Chanyeol when he went for the classic move of the ‘back hug’.  What was so wrong with back hugging Luhan?  It may seem sudden, but Sehun really likes Luhan, so he doesn’t see the harm in touching him.  Honestly, from the moment he met Luhan’s eyes at that party, he couldn’t stop thinking about him.  ‘Maybe it’s because I called him cutie? Or was it the rubbing circles that turned him off…’ Sehun thought, but then again, all the girls love it when he does that.  He was thoroughly confused.

Sehun caught up with Chanyeol and pulled him to the side, near a little shop that was selling lanterns.  “Why did both you and Luhan look upset earlier…you know, when I went to hug him?” asked Sehun.

“You really don’t know how to take things slow.  If you actually like Luhan, you can’t approach him the same way you’d go for one of your easy girlfriends.” explained Chanyeol.

“I’ve never done this before! I don’t know how to act around him, since he isn’t like one of those girls, and you know I’ve never actually dated someone so give me a break…” grumbled Sehun, as he crossed his arms over his chest.  “I just need some advice.”

“Okay then first off, quit being so touchy.  Luhan’s already pretty wary of you, so you’re gonna have to tone it down.” said Chanyeol, his stomach growling from hunger.

“But I don’t see what’s so wrong about touching!” Sehun said desperately.

“Chanyeol! Sehun! Luhan and I want to get some desserts to bring back to campus, so we’re gonna look around a bit.” Baekhyun shouted over to the two boys, which Chanyeol was thankful for since he could really go for some dessert.

After searching for a dessert stand, Luhan was immediately drawn to the stand selling a variety of treats.  With his mouth watering, Luhan began to scan the desserts, ready to choose the most delicious one he could find.  After wrapping up his selection of goodies, Luhan started looking for Baekhyun, when he felt someone nudge his side.

Glancing to his right, Luhan had found Sehun.  Not surprised it was him, Luhan just ignored the action and continued walking.  Luhan wasn’t in the mood to be harassed by Sehun anymore tonight, so he’d rather just stay away, even if it may seem a bit rude.

“Luhan, why are you avoiding me?” questioned Sehun, looking a little hurt by the lack of attention. 

Suddenly, Luhan started to feel bad.  The look Sehun gave him was depressing.  He seemed so frustrated and Luhan couldn’t help but feel sorry.

Sighing, Luhan turned around and looked up at Sehun, “I’m sorry, it’s just that I’m not used to the way you’re acting around me.  Also, I’ve heard you have a pretty bad reputation with the girls, so I’d rather not risk it.”

Sehun just stared at Luhan with a dejected look in his eyes, trying to think of anything he’d done to give himself a bad rep.  He’s never dated, only hooked up, but that doesn’t make him a bad guy right?  And it’s not like he actually liked the girls he’s slept with.  Sehun realized after the party that he would never just sleep with Luhan, because he’s too innocent for that and he doesn’t deserve the burden that comes with that sort of relationship.

“But I like you…” said Sehun, wishing he had made a better impression on Luhan.

“I’m sure you like a lot of people Sehun, but right now I can’t say I feel the same way.” Luhan said, while giving a light smile, trying to ease the rejection before hurrying to catch up with Baekhyun.

Later that night, Sehun laid in bed thinking about Luhan and how determined he is to prove himself.
