Chapter 9

Onew’s PoV

SHINee dorm:

So it’s Leeteuk hyung… I thought while I was staring blankly at our room’s ceiling still digesting everything that Taeyeon told me yesterday.

“Yah Hyung!” Taemin called. “Still zoning out?” he asked as he spun aroung him and jumped on their bed.

I looked at Taemin with a smile, “Not really…” I replied.

“Ohhhh…” Taemein awed. “So, will you be ready for today’s music bank reherslas?”

I looked at him with a shocked expression. “That’s today?!”

Taemin nodded, “Yah hyung… don’t tell me you forgot about that? You’re not like that before…”

“Ani.. ani…” I replied as I ran towards my closet to prepare for MuBank rehersals.. “Why aren’t you dressed yet?”

“HYUNG!” Tamein emphisezed. “We wtill have 2 ours left… are you really fine?”

“Oh!” I exclaimed and went back to our bed to take a seat. What’s happening to me?

“Hyung… you have been zoning out since yesterday… what’s wrong with you?” he asked.

I looked at him hesitant at first if I should really tell him the reason why. He’s our maknae and I am confident that he’ll understand what I am feeling… “It turns out that Taeyeon likes someone elese, not Siwon hyung.”

I was a bit surprised to see that Taemin did not in anyway changed his eapression. He was not shocked by what I said. “Ohh… That…” he replied.

“What do you mean, ‘oh that’ ?” I asked curiously.

Taemin grinned, “actually hyung… it’s only you and Leetuk hyung who does not know about who Taeyeon noona likes…”

“WHAT?!” I exclaimed in a bit irritated tone. “Why didn’t you tell me?!”

“You weren’t asking…” he replied as he grab a book to read.

“Are you insane?!” I asked. “What do you want me to ask you, the words: ‘does Taeyeon like me?’… huh?”

“Neh!” Taemin mocked.

“Ugh!” I exclaimed. “You’re insane!”

I can’t belive this! Even these groupmates of mine knows that Taeyeon like Leeteuk?! Ugh! How dense is Leeteuk to not notice that?! Ugghhhhhh~

Inkigayo Studio:

Narrato’r PoV

SHINee, and SUJU boys are there in Music Bank studio for recording. Only Sunny was around to give her boyfriend, Sungmin support for their comeback stage… it was just another normal day for both of the groups anyways.

Onew was able to fully digest the fact that Taeyeon likes Leeteuk. And for him, he’ll do anything for Taeyeon’s happiness. If taeyeon likes Leeteuk, he’ll support her no matter what. He even decided to make Leeteuk realize that Taeyeon likes him… he started to give Leeteuk hints about this.

“Hyung!” Onew shouted while Leeteuk was on his way to the male’s restroom.

“Onew!: Leeteuk greeted. He waited for ONew to approach him before entering the restroom. “How are you?”

-Flashbcak-

“There’s this little girl who has a crush on you 4 years now… ever since you are the only man in her heart…” Onew whispered at Leeteuk’s ear before he was about to enter the stage.

Puzzled with what Onew whispered, he went and performed on the stage…

“Oh I am good…” Leeteuk replied.

“Sure?” Onew gazed at him with a mocking expression while Leeteuk was fixing his hair.

“Yes…!” Teuk replied, “Why?”

“Nothing much!” Onew lied. But truly. He was waiting for Leeteuk to ask him about the words he said a while back.

Both went out of the restroom going to their parking lot. Their ecording was done so they are free to go antwhere they like. And just in time, Leeteuk remembered what Onew told him before the recording…

“Hey Onew… about what you said earlier… what’s with that news that you said earlier?” he asked.

“Finally you asked!” Onew said in a teasing tone…

“Why? What about that?” Leeteuk asked once again.

“Nothing important to you I guess…” he replied. “Theres’ just someone here in the entertainment who likes you for a very long time now… and I think that you’ll find it weird if you discover who she is…”

Leeteuk did not anymore ask questions because he finds Onew’s news a bit weird for he really has no clues about someone liking him

Sunny then comes in with Sungmin… “Annyeong Leeteuk oppa!” Sunny greeted.

The two greeted back… “I heard you guys were talking about Leeteuk hyung’s admirer?” Sungmin teased.

Leeteuk giggled. “Weird right?”

“Not really…” Sunny butted in while she was fixing her bracelets…

Leeteuk looked at Sunny with a curious expression, “What do you mean?”

Sungmin and Sunny looked at each other… “There’s really someone in this agency who likes you for a very long time now…” sunny opened up. Sungmin was elbowing her, what are you doing?! Sungmin thought.

“There is?” Teuk asked with a jaw dropping expression.

“Yes….” Sunny and Onew said.

“NUGU?!” Leeteuk asked. Behind this question, he already has an idea on who that girl would be. Is it Taeyeon?

“Should we say it?” Sungmin asked the two…

Sunny looked at her boyfriend and nodded. “Oppa… someone liked you ever since debut. You have been a very good and responsible friend to her… and she has been liking you for a very long time now… she has always been a supporting little girl to his brother…”

His brother?! Leeteuk thought… Oh NO!

“Who is this She?!” Leeteuk asked impatiently.

“Taeyeon…” Sunny, Sungmin and Onew said in chorous…

Leeteuk was expressionless. “Taeyeonnie?” he asked.

“Nehhhhh!” Onew replied.

“Unnie liked you ever since. She has been the number one fan of yours, oppa. Didn’t you notice it? She has tons of admirers, one of which is, no offence , Onew oppa. But she still is single… you know why? Because she has this thinking that she’ll only love one person in her entire life… only you…”

“She even said that if it’s not you, she’ll just enter the convent…” Onew said.

“She’s the only SNSD member without any love life… to think that she’s the eldest…” Sungmin added. “She has been a loyal admirer to you hyung…”

Teuk was speechles… he was so clueless… he didn’t know what to do….

“Wow!” Teuk finally said after few seconds of silence…

“I know right?” Sunny asked. “That’s unnie… she’s so persevering…”

Leeteuk smiled… “I… I have to go… See you guys soon!”

He lied to them… he’s free that time… he just excused himself from them so he could think about what they told him now… he was dumbfounded after hearing that news…

SUJU dorm

Leeteuk’s PoV

Leeteuk’s room:

Taengoo likes me?! I thought while I was lying flat on my bed. I was not really surprised. I think, thrilled is the proper adjective to describe my feelings…

She has been liking me for how many years now and yet she did not tell me… I must say that I am a bir irritated… I am not sure why, but yes, I am irritated.

But how can I reply to this? Should I reject her? She’s too young for me… and I don’t think that I’ll be good for her… she had always been a little sister for me…

Sunny was right when she said that Taeyeon is the only member without any love life despite the fact that she has many suitors… one of which is my best friend Onew… I can’t believe that she’s that loyal to me.. even though she knows that I don’t have the same feelings to her… she knows that I just think of her as a sister…

Wow! Kim Taeyeon, why did you keep that a secret?!

Narrator’s PoV

Leeteuk keeps on deny his feelings for her for he keeps in mind that they have a huge age difference and they are of the same company. He does not know that deep inside him is a heart who longs for a girl named Kim Taeyeon…

He became more irritated when he remembered what Soo Man told him…
