Chapter 22

SJ Dorm:

Narrator’s PoV

While on his way home, Leeteuk was only thinking about what Taeyeon would feel if she sees the news. If he has been at the articles. He’s worried that Taeng might change her mind. What should I do?

He slowly went out of his car and entered their building. He was nervous and does not know what to do next. He tried to call Taeyeon back but her phone was off. It was out of service. Taeng probably turned off her phone… *sighs*

He carefully opened the door to their dorm and saw Heechul and Donghae standing at the living with their arms crossed on their chest area. They were glaring at Leeteuk as he entered the house.

“Where were you?” Hae asked.

Leeteuk was nervous, “I- I went to…”

“See Joo..” Chul finished.

“How did you know that?” Leeteuk asked as he finally had the guts to look at his boys.

“Well let’s see…” hae started. “YOU GUYS ARE IN THE NEWS~ And it looks like she’s your girl friend!”

“GUYS!” Leeteuk exclaimed in a depressed tone as he sat at their couch and covered his face with his hands. “I don’t know hay she said that! I myself was shocked to hear her say that. I swear to God she’s not my girl! I swear!”

The two boys sighed. They believed Leeteuk of course! But the problem is… will Taeyeon believe him?

“Yoona called… they saw the news already…” Donghae informed him.

Leeteuk immediately turned his head to Donghae in shock. “Seriously?! That fast?!”

“Unfortunately… yes…” Heechul said.

“Does Taengoo knows about it already?” he asked worriedly.

“Maybe…” both said. “We’re not sure… Yong just called to clarify everything..”

“Aiiiiiiiiiiiiish!” Leeteuk exclaimed as he rubbed his face with his hands irritatedly…

“What had happened that resulted to this Hyung?” Hae asked

Leeteuk explained everything… from start to bottom.Hae and Chul’s expression is nothing but anger.

“What kind of girl is she?!” Heechul yelled as he stood up in anger. “She’s so hypocrite!”

“Have you tried calling Taengoo again?” Hae asked.

“I did! But I assume her phone is off.” He replied.

“Let me try it…” Heechul said as he grabbed Leeteuk’s phone from the center table where he had placed it earlier and called Taeyeon’s number.

The number you have dialed is out of coverage area… please try again later….The speaker said.

“She’s still out of reach…” chul informed them “Call YoonA!”

“Neh!” Hae agreed as he ran to his room to get his phone. He returned to the living room with his phone on his ear.

“Yobossaeyo… Yoong?” he asked. “Neh oppa… why did you call?”

“Is Taeyeon there?” he asked while staring at Leeteuk and Heechul who was also starring at him nervously.

It took Yoona seconds before answereing… “Uhm… yeah but… she’s uhm… sleeping…”

Donghae nodded, “So she’s asleep…”. “Does she know about the news already?”

“Neh…” YoonA replied…

“Chincha?!” he exclaimed as he walked towards Leeteuk and Heechul with buldging eyes. “She knows about it?!”

“Neh~” Yoona said

“So… what did she say? Did he cry? Or something?” he murmured. Both Leeteuk and Chul stared at Donghae intently…

“Well…” YoonA started. “She was dumbfounded at first… but she did not cry. She just went to her room. When we checked on her, she was already asleep while hugging Mr. Oolkkong…”

“Oh… so she did not CRY!” he emphasized the word cry. Leeteuk felt disappointed yet happy. Disappointed because he has this feeling that Taeyeon does not have that much feelings for him now, happy because Taeyeon’s not crying…”

“Neh… that’s’ good for unnie right?” YoonA asked. “At least she’s recovering well…”

“Yes yes…” Hae said. “I’ll call you back later Yoong… Love you!”

“Neh… Love you too…”

Hae ended the call with a disappointing stare at Teuk. “I am sure that you’ll have a hard time at getting Taeyeon back to you hands. YoonA said that she’s doing good at the ‘moving on’ stage.”

Leeteuk sighed, “I know…”

Heechul inhaled heavily, “What to do next…?”

Taeyeon’s PoV

After I called oppa’s number and heard Joo’s voice, I already had the feeling that there’s something’s going on. And now, while Yuri and I was watching the news with YoonA, we saw the news saying that Leeteuk and Joo are in a relationship already.

I was dumbfounded. I held everything back. I tried my best not to cry. Luckily, I did not. I probably ran out of tears already... I was supposed to tell him how happy I am in Japan. How fun it is to be here… just like what he said, Japan is a very nice place to visit. How unfortunate of me that it was Joo who answered the phone.
