Chapter  18:

Taeyeon’s PoV

I am ready! I took a deep breath while starring at my reflection at the mirror. I hope he’ll like my appearance.

I walked to the living room and saw my girls starring at me with a jaw dropping expression.

“Why? Do I look bad?” I asked them examining myself.

“A-ani!” Tiffany said. “You look…”

“Gorgeous Unnie!” They all said in chorous.

I smile widely, “Aww girls!!!” I ran to give them a hug, “Thank you!!”

“You going on a date with Teuk Oppa?” Seobaby asked.

“It’s not a date okay?! We’ll just have a snack together!” I corrected

“Oh please!” Yuri exclaimed, “For you it’s a date! You wouldn’t wear that kind of clothing if it’s not a date for you”

I giggled. Alright, you guys caught me!

I walked outside and wore a not so high elevated heels so that I would equalize Leeteuk’s height. It’s good so I won’t look like a midget beside him! Keekekke~

I was by the door already when YoonA gave me few words more, “Unnie, never ever make the environment akward okay? Good luck!”

“Neh!” I agreed and gave them a ‘fighting’ sign before I left. I walked at the lobby of the building nervously yet excited… this was the first time I feel like this eating-a-snack-together is a date~

SUJU’s Dorm:

Narrator’s PoV

Leeteuk was busy fixing his hair on their bathroom. One hand on his hair while the other was holding a Gel sachet. No… this hairstyle ! He thought as he changed the spiky hairstyle that he just did to a formal one… this…? Hmm…. To formal….

“Yah!” Yesung yelled from the living room while he was lying down on their couch. “Hyung! What’s taking you s long? Are you flushed inside the toilet already?”

Leeteuk laughed, “No way! Just shut it alright! I am busy!”

Yesung stood up and went to check on Leeteuk at the bathroom. Teuk left the door opened that’s why Yesung was able to see what he was doing.

Yesung burst into laughter after seeing Leeteuk busy on his hair. “Yah! What’s going on? Why do you look so pissed with your hair?”

Leeteuk did not reply and just continued what he was doing.

“Yah Hyung! Do you have a concert today? You never fixed your hair this long and this grand before~”

“Hyung will go meet Taeyeon at a coffee shoppe today!” Kyu said without looking for he was busy playing starcraft.

“Ohhhhh~” Yesung said playfully, “You’re just going to a coffee shop yet you fixed you hair that way?!”

“He’s going with Taeyeon I said!” Kyu butted in again.

“AHHH!” Yesung said. Leeteuk pretended like he was not hearing a thing, “I’ll just shut my mouth and walk away… I’ll let you prepare well! Hwaiting!”

Aish this guys! Teuk Thought. Insane much!

After 20 minutes….

Aigooo I’ll be late! This hairstyle looks good anyways….Teuk thought while he was studying himself at the mirror.

Leeteuk walked to their shoe rack and chose a stylish shoes that would match his fashionable outfit.

“HyukJae, I might be off at Sukira ok? Just bring Yesung with you… Adios!” he did not wait for any answers and just left.

“Aigoo… Hyung really is insane!” Yesung scratched her head. “Why me of all people?! I am busy too you know?”

“Busy for what?!” Hyuk whispered from his back. Yesung screamed, “Yah! Where did you came from???”

“I am from Korea! Duh!” Hyuk teased.

“Aish!” Yesung said. “Leeteuk hyung…. You, Hyuk Jae… both of you ar crazy! I wonder hw Sukira fans are carzy about you two as hosts…”

“That’s the point!” HyukJae Teased.

But seriously, Leeteuk Hyung… I think you’re really in love with her.Yesung thought.

Coffee shop:

Leeteuk was there, 10 minutes early than the meeting time. He was excited… yes he was, and he does not know what to say first when Taeyeon comes in. While waiting, Leeteuk’s phone rang… he answered it immediately…

“Yobossaeyo?” He greeted.

“Annyeong oppa!” Joo greeted.

“Hey Joo!” Teuk exclaimed. “What’s up?”

“Uhm…. I have something very important to tell you… can we meet today?”

It took him seconds before he could answer… but… how’s my snack with Taengoo? He thought first. Uhmmm… aish! It’s better so that Taeyeon won’t take it as a date! “Well, alright! Taeyeon and I are in SamJung coffee shop near SM building, just come here…”

“Oh! That’s great! I’ll be able to meet your best dongsaeng for the first time!” Joo lied. She met Taeyeon already!

“Fantastic then!” Teuk said. “See you!”

Leeteuk hid his phone on his pocket. And once he looked up, he saw an angelic figure entering the coffee shop…. The angelic Kid Leader of SNSD is coming…

Woah~Leeteuk thought. Dazzling!

The very pretty kid leader came in with a bag and umbrella with her. She brought that for she imagined herself with Leeteuk walking together in one umbrella while raining… weird right? xD

“Oh Taengoo!” Leeteuk exclaimed when Taeyeon was already in front of him. “You look pretty!”

Taeyeon bit his lips to hide her smile, “Komawo!”

“Seat!” Leeteuk gestured towards a seat in front of his. Taeyeon sat down on the seat that Leeteuk pulled out from her. Huh? Why are there 3 seats? Who’s with us? Taeyeon asked herself.

She did not ask Leeteuk anymore though. “So how are you?” Taeyeon asked with a smile.

“Oh I am fine!” Teuk replied. “Busy with Sukira… as always!”

Taeyeon giggled, “neh! It’s hard being a DJ… good thing Knagin Oppa and I retired from Chin Chin already!”

Both laughed at each other.

“Annyeong!” Someone from afar yelled at Leeteuk. Taeyeon looked back to see who it was. And guess who? It was Joo! The very fast Joo!

Leeteuk stood up and bowed at Joo, “Hello Joo!”

Taeyeon stood up, “Annyeong Joo-sunbae!”

Joo faked a smile, “Hi there! Nice to meet you!” she said and gestured a hand shake. Taeyon was at first hesitant, huh? She said that she does not want to meet me right? She thought after shaking her hand back.

“Come seat with us Joo~” Teuk gestured at the 3^rd seat beside him. Oh… so that seat was for her… Taeyeon thought. I guess were not alone…

Taeyeon forced a smile at Leeteuk who was smiling at her. “Well, I invited Joo in here too… you know, so  you guys could meet each other. Joo said she has not met you yet…”

Taeyeon looked at Joo, “Oh really?!” She exclaimed fiercly.

“Neh!” Joo answered with a glaring eyes at Taeyeon. “Oppa has been talking lots about you! You must be close to him!”

“Ohhh… that’s nice of you Teuk!” Taeng looked at Leeteuk… Leeteuk smiled and drank the coffee that was placed on his side by the waiter. Taeyeon held his cup while Joo waited for her coffee.

After few minutes…

The atmosphere was ful of Joo-Leeteuk moments… Taeyeon wasn’t able to but in because she can’t relate at anything. Both were happy talking about how high ‘Ice Cream’ reached. It was a ‘hit’ according to the two.

You could see the jealousy on Taeyeon’s eyes while drinking the coffee… she was just starring at the two who were laughing and giggling bout things. The look good together… she thought while starring at them. Oppa seems so happy with her… I guess I look stupid here… I guess I look like the idiot who does not know what’s happening around her…

“Excuse me…. I received a call from Seohyun… she’s asking me to go home now… I’ll be leaving first!” Taeyeon finally decided to leave. She can’t take the view anymore… Leeteuk and Joo was the only one talking to each other as if Taeyeon wasn’t there…

She did not wait for any response from the two and walked away. She opened the exit door and inhaled first before walking along the road. But then, upon stepping on the sidewalk, droplets of rain started to fall. She remembered that she brought the umbrella that Leeteuk gave her. Don’t let yourself be wet next time memory of Leeteuk saying that to her at the hospital came t her mind. Aigoo… so what?! This is not mine… this is Leeteuk oppa’s! he should at least have this. He’s with Joo and he needs an umbrella to protect her from the rain. He should have this instead of me… Tayeoen thought as she entered the coffee shop again.

“Oh you’re back!” Joo exclaimed. Leeteuk looked at Taeyeon worriedly. Taeyeon who was trembling in front of them.

“Neh…” Taeyeon forced a smile. “I just want to return this to oppa…” she said as she placed Leeteuk’s umbrella on top of the table… “That’s all… I have to go…”

She walked away from them without letting her tears to fall down. Kim Taeyeon… if a tear fall from your eye… you’ll be dead! She told herself as she opened the exit door and walked away.

Leeteuk just watched Taeyeon who was walking away from them. He can’t feel anything but irritation and anger. He was pissed and was clueless on what to do next. He was stiff and felt numb while seeing Taeyeon leaving the umbrella that he gave her at the hospital. He stared at the window and saw the rainy atmosphere outside. What is she up to? It’s raining yet she gave this to us?! He thought as she grabbed the umbrella and stood up from the chair.

“Oppa… you’re gonna give that back to her? How bout us? We don’t have an umbrella too!” Joo stopped him. “I am sure she has an umbrella already… maybe that’s why she gave that to us already!”

Leeteuk realized that Joo was right. He knows that Taeyeon would not be that stupid to walk on the rain… “Ah… neh” he replied.

“I know oppa! What if we just go to the mall and eat there together? It’s boring here…” Joo said as she placed her hand on Leeteuk’s arms.

Leeteuk looked at her with a weird expression, he forcefully removed Joo’s hands from his arm and just nod. Joo was pissed when Leteeuk removed her hand from his arm but then, she just followed him.

Taeyeon’s side

Taeyeon’s PoV

Yes I know I am being stupid again… letting me be drained by this rain… I was jealous… I thought that this snack was almost a date-like- scenery. I guess it’s not… this imaginations of mine really…

I smirked at myself. I imagined myself being with Leeteuk’s protective arms with his umbrella while walking on the rain… but I guess he’s better off with Joo… I am better to be walking alone… I guess being alone is my specialty…

And there it goes…. I found myself crying already. I removed my shoes and just walked barefooted. I did not stop myself from crying! No one can stop me from crying now! If I can’t be loved by the person that I love, I should at least have the right to cry right?!

Just let it rain, Let it rain let it rain…I hummed while I was crying my heart out. I am wet once again and I don’t care I get admitted at the hospital again.

“JUNGSOOOO! I REALLY DO LOVE YOU! ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT! THAT WILL NEVER CHANGE...” I yelled as loud as I can. The people were looking at me… they did not notice that I was Taeyeon because I put my face mask n and cap already… and so what if they notice me? I don’t care anymore! I just want to cry. “Even if you love Joo…” I whispered.

The coffee shop was just near our dorm so I was able to reach our house in no less than 20 minutes… I wiped my tears and fixed myself so that they won’t notice that I did cry. I know that they would be worried too.
