Chapter 4
Honey PotCHAPTER 4
[CIA – Los Angeles]
“You wanted to see me, sir?” a black-haired girl asked after knocking on her superior’s door.
“Yes. Take a seat.” The middle-aged American officer pointed to the chair in front. “Any updates on Wesley’s whereabouts?
“No sir, but one of my informers last spotted him in Seoul.”
“Korea?! Have you contacted our people there?”
“Should we? I thought this case is confidential.”
“Well, it’s getting out of hand. The antidotes must be in our possession ASAP. I’m afraid the time is running out, Agent Hwang. We need all the help we could get.”
Tiffany gives her boss a worried look. “Will they be able to help us, sir?”
“I have no doubt about that. Our Korean division has the best agents around. I’ll contact the team leader right away.”
“Who’s going to brief them on this mission, then? Video conference?”
“No way. It’s too risky.”
“So…?” Tiffany patiently waited for the alternative answer.
“I’m assigning you there.” The officer simply said.
“I beg your pardon?” Tiffany couldn’t believe her ears.
“Do you have any problem with that?”
“Um…No…but…”
“Well, Agent Hwang. Like you said earlier, this IS a classified task. I can’t send just anyone. You know this mission too well, better than I do. So, I want you to work with them to find Wesley and get the antidotes back.”
“Yes sir!” Korea, here I come~

“Yes ma’am!!” the troops of agents answered to their Leader Im.
While adjusting her intercom, Yoona looks at her teams marching silently to their spots. She has been leading on missions for quite some time now. Despite her younger age, the other senior agents look up to her leadership and have no problem following her orders.

[Headquarters – Operation Room]
Seohyun looks at her watch. 8:10 p.m. 5 more minutes. She bites her fingernails unconsciously. Handlers will be in contact with their agents usually 15 minutes before a mission initiates. Sure, agents and handlers will be contacting each other throughout the assignment, but the moment before the mission is crucial. That’s when information on the surrounding would be given; evidently determines whether the mission should be carried out or not in the first place.
It’s 8:15. Here goes nothing. Seohyun watches the monitor in front of her and puts on her intercom. Yoona is clearly visible on the screen. “DeerHawk, can you hear me?”

“DeerHawk, can you hear me?”
“Roger. Go on, Girlscout.”
“The perimeter seems to be clear for now. I don’t sense any movement. Have you covered the warehouse?”
“Positive. I have my troops covering the
