Wait For Me

The Disadvantages of Having a Not So Dumb Boyfriend

The two were brought back to life once more by the of Joonmyun’s phone’s alarm blaring, finding they’d switched positions, Yixing’s arms now wrapped around Joonmyun’s stomach.

Yixing pulled him closer as Joonmyun reached over to his phone to stop it from blasting out TVXQ’s Humaniods (the reason, it's time).

“5 more minutes,” the younger mumbled, head resting on the back of Joonmyun’s shoulder, and who was he to deny a request like that? Turning the alarm off, he then turned inwards so he was resting his head on Yixing’s chest, listening to the constant badump-badump of Yixing’s heart (or as he’d usually say the doki-doki, but Joonmyun was being realistic here). He was still shirtless from the previous night, but he noticed that Joonmyun had put a pair of pajama pants on him, to stop him from getting too cold (cute). Joonmyun could feel the crevices that separated Yixing’s pecks, and with his hand resting on the same man’s stomach, he could feel the creases forming each pack of his abdominal muscles.

Within 30 seconds, he could hear the soft snores Yixing was eliciting, and feel the rise and fall of his chest even out. It was relaxing, but Joonmyun didn’t want to sleep anymore, instead opting to sit and idly trace hearts on to the toned stomach he was resting his head on. After 5 minutes (or probably more, because a sleeping Yixing was a super cute Yixing) he moved up, pressing a kiss to the youngers lips. Yixing’s eyelids fluttered open, hazed with sleep.

“Good morning.” Joonmyun breathed, staring into the deep brown eyes that were clouded, but no less beautiful.

Yixing smiled before the reality of what was happening that day hit him like a storm. Joonmyun was leaving, and this was not the reality he wanted.

“What time is it?” he asked sleepily, now frowning slightly.

“7:47… Jongin and ‘Soo are coming at 9:30 to take us, we should get up now, okay?” Joonmyun replied, dragging himself off Yixing. Yixing wouldn’t have it, and reached out, pulling him back down.

“No, I don’t want you to go.”

Joonmyun’s smiled regretfully, “You know I don’t want to either, but come on, I’m hungry.”

Yixing unwillingly let go, rolling out of the bed with the dancer’s grace of a pack of llamas, Joonmyun following suit. They hadn’t showered last night, and though they were memories they wanted to keep, the smells quite frankly weren’t.

The two trudged into the bathroom, hands held, where they both stripped each other and walked into the shower. Usually they would like to take baths, but they knew they really didn’t have the time today.

It was much like a repeat of what happened the other day, and every other time they showered, minus the usual laughter and squeals. Today was different, they knew it was, it was obvious it was.  All Yixing wanted to do was to crawl back in to bed with Joonmyun and sleep so he’d miss his flight, and all Joonmyun wanted to do was cancel his so he could crawl back in to bed with Yixing and stay. Life didn’t work that way though.

It didn’t mean they showered with less care though. Their touches were delicate and graceful, and they were both gentle because honestly, they knew were both sore from the previous night. Lips were on lips but they were in no way demanding or lustful, just meaningful, precious.

Yixing dried Joonmyun’s hair and Joonmyun dried his. Yixing had already picked out Joonmyun’s outfit the previous day, whilst Joonmyun picked one out for Yixing from the pile of clothes he had decided to take.

The two went downstairs, where Joonmyun’s stuff was already organized and placed. Yixing had to bite back a sob, it was so crystal clear this was really happening, and the suitcase and bags there were an unwanted reality check.

“What do you want for breakfast, baby?” Joonmyun asked, looking through the pantry.

“Uhh, anything is fine…” Yixing answered, sitting down on one of the stools at the kitchen bench.

He watched as Joonmyun pulled out a block of chocolate from the pantry and broke it into a bowl, putting it into the microwave to melt, before pulling a punnet of strawberries out from the fridge, washing and cutting the ends off before placing them on a table in such a cheesy heart formation that Yixing couldn’t help but giggle.

He took a strawberry, dipping it in the chocolate before gesturing for Yixing to open his mouth, laughing when he shoved the whole thing in at once, surprising the daylights out of the Chinese.

“KIM JOONMYUN, YOU BASTARD!”

Joonmyun couldn’t help but laugh even harder at Yixing’s outburst, so it was safe to say that he didn’t expect a chocolate-covered strawberry shoved into his mouth, either.

His reaction caused Yixing to smirk, picking up another strawberry and popping it into his mouth, chewing and swallowing. He watched as Joonmyun carefully placed one between his teeth, before he leant forward and Yixing met him half way, carefully biting onto the strawberry. The two chewed and swallowed, before leaning forward that tiniest bit more and pressing their lips together.

It reminded Yixing of their first kiss, how Joonmyun had tasted like strawberries and chocolate, but when Joonmyun reached one hand behind his head, fingers threading in his hair as the other supported him on the table, and it was clearer which one he enjoyed more now. The kiss was sweet like what they’d been eating, but there was always some hidden meaning.

Their lips moved in harmony, so much so that Joonmyun didn’t notice Yixing reach over and dip his index finger in the chocolate before the two moved apart. Joonmyun sighed, Yixing’s kisses, wait no- Yixing never failed to take his breath away...

Even when he swiped his nose with his finger, getting chocolate all over it.

Before Joonmyun could react, however, Yixing kissed and his nose, successfully removing the chocolate, eyes twinkling.

“You had chocolate on your nose…”

Joonmyun chuckled, before innocently pressing his lips to the younger’s.

“You had chocolate on your lips…”

Yixing rolled his eyes, “You lie.”

Joonmyun smiled awkwardly, scratching his nape. “Well yeah, but I just wanted a reason to kiss you.”

It was when Jongin and Kyungsoo knocked on his door before immediately letting themselves in 20 minutes later when the reality hit him that yes, he was really going and yes, he was totally leaving everything from home behind and it wasn’t what he wanted.

Usually Kyungsoo would shout an “I HAVE ARRIVED!” as the door burst open, sometimes with and sometimes without Jongin trailing behind him- but today was not the case. The interesting thing about Kyungsoo is was how boisterous he was when you got to know him. Of course, most people opened up the more you knew them, but Kyungsoo was a whole new level of cray-cray... Except when he was upset.

Today was one of those days, and Joonmyun felt awful. He could see Kyungsoo’s face drop as he eyed the suitcases, and felt his heart drop as he remembered that and why Kyungsoo had such a bad association with people leaving.

It was Jongin who spoke up, sensing the atmosphere that wasn’t awkward, but not pleasant.

“So… How much did you guys have last night?” he asked greasily, winking.

Yixing punched him in the arm, before Jongin slapped his , making him let out an unmanly yelp.

Jongin sniggered, looking at Joonmyun, whose face had gone bright red and hands had unconsciously made their way around to his , acting as a preventing force.

Joonmyun looked up at the clock sadly, noticing the time. His flight was scheduled to leave at 12:30PM, and it was 9:30 now.

“I guess we should go now, hey?”

Jongin nodded, “Probably, you know the traffic here.”

Joonmyun had already told them all that he was happy to catch the train by himself, but both Jongin and Kyungsoo instantly refused, telling him that they’d happily drive him. Plus, they knew it’d be better for Yixing that way. Yixing would no way let him go by himself, and the last thing South Korea needed was a sobbing Yixing on the subway.

Jongin grabbed Joonmyun’s suitcase, pulling it out to pack in the car, as Joonmyun grabbed his back pack. Yixing had to stop his eyes from tearing up when he noticed it was one of his old ones that he grew bored of and Joonmyun took before they even started dating. Joonmyun was travelling relatively lightly, but it was because the majority of things he needed he could buy over there.

“Jeez Joonmyun, over-pack much?”

Joonmyun laughed as he stepped out the door behind Kyungsoo and Jongin for the last time in a while, before shutting it and turning the lock. He handed the key to Yixing, saying “If there’s anything you need from there whilst I’m gone, go for it.” Yixing just nodded blankly in response, and Joonmyun squeezed his arm.

“Anything in the fridge or pantry is yours, ‘Soo, go for your life, you know where the spare key is. Can you take that with you too?”

Kyungsoo smiled, it if could be called that. “Sure thing, thanks.”

“No problems.” Joonmyun replied, hopping in the car after Yixing, taking his hand in the process. Yixing looked up, and Joonmyun could see his eyes were glossy. He felt himself tear up too, but shook his head, willing them away.

Joonmyun watched as they drove out of his driveway, the place where he had lived at long enough and loved enough to call his home. He watched as they drove down the street that he had walked down every day to reach this place, and he watched as they drove past the small corner shop which that old lady had been visiting the time she wanted a photo with him, and the one he frequented whenever he needed this or that.

He watched as they drove past the spot where the carnival had been at when he took Yixing for their first date as a couple, and he watched as they drove past the streets and cities he had grown to love.

The ride was mainly spent in silence, a bit of small talk here and there, and then those moments where a song came on that they would just have to bust out singing (special note to SNSD’s I Got a Boy, which got the whole car started). He spent the whole ride with Yixing’s hand entwined with his in a comfortable silence, but one which still put pressure on his chest. Not because of the silence itself, but what was going to happen in the next few hours.

It wasn’t that they didn’t feel like talking, it’s just they didn’t feel the need for words. Just because things weren’t spoken, it didn’t mean they were left unsaid.

When they reached the airport, their hands stayed clasped together. Until Joonmyun reached immigration, Yixing could stay with him, and he had every intention of being there until then. He stayed close as Joonmyun checked in, noticing the look of sympathy they were receiving from the lady at the desk, and ignoring the judging looks of homophobic citizens around them.

Kyungsoo and Jongin also trailed behind, and when Jongin noticed the stares and Kyungsoo’s downward directed gaze, he turned Kyungsoo around, kissing him squarely on the lips. He inwardingly scoffed as a woman blocked her child’s eyes, before pulling away from the contact.

“Don’t ever be ashamed of what you are.”

“Jongin, I’m not ashamed- you know that. It’s jus-“

“I know hyung, I know.” he said, before once more pressing his lips to his boyfriend’s, except this time with less ferocity and less time. He heard the lady from before start to tell her child to not ever do that and that they were bad people, before looking at her, face burning with rage. An expression Kyungsoo didn’t think he’d ever seen.

“It’s people like you that are the reason my boyfriend is so paranoid about being himself whenever he’s in public. I hope you have fun screwing up the minds of your children and society, if you can’t even deal with two boys kissing each other because apparently it’s wrong,” he said, vehemence clear in his voice, strongly passing through the airport through of people. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I’d like to get a move on because my boyfriend’s best friend, who is also apparently a ‘bad person’, is leaving to go to Stanford for two years, and the last thing my boyfriend needs to is to deal with your primeval views when he has already had enough to last him life time and mine.”

Jongin grabbed Kyungsoo’s hand, interlocking their fingers as the lady stood there, slack-jawed, before pulling him along to trail after the others. Kyungsoo smiled to himself as he whispered out “Thank you, I love you.” and Jongin replied with a considerably louder “I love you too.”

It was when they reached the immigration section of the airport that Yixing and Joonmyun had to let go, and it was the last thing that either of them wanted to do. Yixing’s throat began to constrict as he remembered that their car ride had been mainly silent, when now there was so much he wanted to say, and so much he wanted to do, there was no more time because Joonmyun had to leave, and he had to leave now.

All the times where he’d been late to getting to Joonmyun’s, even if it was by two minutes, he regretted. All those times he’d gone to dance practice when he could have been with the other, even all the times he had turned his head away from Joonmyun’s kisses as a joke he instantly regretted. Every second that he could have spent with the other that he hadn’t he regretted, and he wished nothing more that he could turn back time so he could spend even one more minute, one more second with the older.

But now he was here, at the place where his boyfriend was going to be leaving him. He didn’t know what was going to happen. He knew long distance relationships were hard, and it killed him to know that Joonmyun might find someone over there that makes him happier, that he loves more than that Chinese boy back in Korea. He felt selfish, because he didn’t want that to happen, but he knew that if it did he’d have to let Joonmyun go because over anything, he wanted him to be happy.

“I guess this is good-bye then.” Jongin said, pain evident in his voice. He may not have been as close to him as Yixing and Kyungsoo, but Joonmyun was one of his best friends, and had been there a lot for him. He’d miss him a lot, there was no denying that.

“I guess.” Joonmyun chuckled, except he wasn’t laughing.

Yixing and Joonmyun both lost a sense of warmth as they let go of their hands, and Jongin fist bumped Joonmyun in that lame way that they had made a habit since 4 years ago.

“Bros?”

“Forever, man. I love you.” Jongin said, before they both shook hands, wrapping their arms around each other in a chest-bump-hug that they had also made a habit of for a while.

“Take care of them,” Joonmyun whispered, just loud enough for Jongin to hear. “Tell me if anything happens, please.”

Jongin nodded before the two separated, and Kyungsoo laughed at the pair before sauntering up to his best friend.

The two launched into some sort of handshake that wasn’t secret anymore because they did it so frequently (since the third day they had become friends, to be honest) and erupting into laughter, before Kyungsoo threw his arms around him, sniffling slightly.

“Don’t miss me too much, I know you will.” Kyungsoo said sassily, although he was holding back tears.

“Why would I miss you?” Joonmyun asked mockingly, ruffling his hair and smiling at him.

“You’re an arse.” Kyungsoo commented, rolling his eyes.

He laughed, “Only because I’m friends with you.”

“Come back quickly, okay?” Kyungsoo said before letting go, walking backwards to stand with his boyfriend as Joonmyun turned to his.

“Yixing-ah,” he said, before tears started running down Yixing’s face, which made his trigger too. “I really love you, you know?”

Yixing nodded, and Joonmyun turned to pull something out of his laptop bag, placing it in Yixing’s palm.

“You said you wanted a CD, but I thought this’d be easier. I hope you like it.”

Yixing smiled on the inside as he realized that Joonmyun had remembered, and slid it in his pocket, pulling out a small box that he had put in the same one, and handing it to Joonmyun. Joonmyun eyed it curiously before taking it, opening the package to find two rings inside. He noticed they were the ones that they’d seen once when they were out and had wanted to buy, but neither had had enough money at the time, nor the time to go in because you had to get them custom made. They were simple and silver on the outside, but on the inside they were embossed with writing. One said ‘Joonmyun’s’, whilst the other said ‘Yixing’s’.

When that’s what they said they’d do when they first saw them, Yixing remembered how Joonmyun had burst out into laughter and just how beautiful he’d looked. It was all he’d wanted to put on there now.

“I just- I remembered you-we wanted these, and I wanted you to have something that you could remember me by. Even if you don’t wear it, I just want to know you have it so you know that that this kid really does love you, and that you’re mine and I’ll always know I’m yours.”

Joonmyun spluttered as he held out his hand and Yixing slid it on his index finger, hands slightly shaking, before Joonmyun did the same to him. “I love it, I love you. I’ll wear it all the time.”

The two s their arms around each other, Joonmyun nuzzling his face into Yixing’s collarbone. Yixing’s heart dropped even lower as an announcement was made over the PA, one which was telling all the passengers of Joonmyun’s flight to make their way through immigration immediately.

Yixing didn’t want to let go, he wasn’t even sure if he could. Joonmyun pulled away from the hug, looking Yixing square in the face.

“I love you, I love you so much. I’ll be back, just wait for me. I’ll call you soon and before you know it I’ll be back, just please wait for me.”

“Joonmyun,” Yixing whined, facial muscles and tear ducts losing all composure as he began to cry harder. “I’m going to miss you so much. I love you, I don’t want you to go.” he whimpered, gripping on the ends of Joonmyun’s shirt with clenched fists and face directed at the floor.

Joonmyun smiled sadly, before lifting his boyfriend’s chin, and placing a kiss on his lips that was passionate yet delicate at the same time. He could taste the salt from their tears, but it didn’t matter. He didn’t know what was going to happen, he didn’t know if this’d be their final kiss- all he knew was they felt too right like this, and it was something he wasn’t sure if he could do without. It was salty but Yixing’s mouth still tasted sweet, still perfect, just like him, and when they finally detached and saw the people flocking, they knew it was the last time for quite a while.

Joonmyun held Yixing’s hand. “I have to go now. I love you Xing-ah, I always will, don’t forget that.”

Yixing nodded as Joonmyun gave his hand a final squeeze and let go, Yixing’s hand still forward, where it’d been holding his boyfriend’s just a moment before.

“Take care, guys. I’ll see you soon,” he said, eyes and face betraying the calm in his voice as he then turned and walked towards his flight, his new life, at least for the next while.

It was when Joonmyun finally walked through those doors and turned out of sight that pain hit Yixing like a train, sobs wracking his body as he collapsed and was caught in Jongin’s arms. He turned around, clutching at Jongin like he was going to leave too, and Kyungsoo watched from the sidelines as one of his best friends fell apart, tears streaming down his face. Kyungsoo wanted to sob too, but it wasn’t the time, not right now, when Yixing had to deal with the fact that the most important person to him was gone.

Yixing couldn’t say anything, he couldn’t speak. His throat had constricted and all the only sounds he could make were strangled cries and loud sobs. He had never been more thankful to Jongin in his life as he held on for dear God, the other body being the only thing that kept him standing.

He continued to sob as Jongin got him to climb on his back, walking back to the entrance of the airport as Yixing buried his face in Jongin’s shoulders, one of Kyungsoo’s hands reassuringly on his thigh.

It was hurting Jongin that Joonmyun left, and killing him to see his best friend in such a state and his boyfriend in one that’d surely worsen.

Kyungsoo drove back, deciding that the time now was definitely not the time for happy pop tunes, turning the radio off. Jongin sat in the back seat, still cradling Yixing who was bawling into his shirt. The car trip home was a long one, and they knew it’d be better if Yixing stayed with them- they’d never expected him to go home tonight, anyway.

It was when they reached home that Jongin finally let go of Yixing, placing the boy who had now been reduced to sniffles and whimpers in their spare bed, before wrapping him up and sitting beside him, once again holding his hand until he fell asleep.

Kyungsoo managed to hold himself together until a few hours later, once they’d returned to Joonmyun’s house to pick up the supplies he’d left. Yixing had already woken up by then, but turned down the offer to go back with the couple, asking if instead they could bring back his shower cosmetics and Pokémon DVDs, before turning on the TV, clutching at a pillow and staring blankly.

It was when Kyungsoo and Jongin stepped inside that Kyungsoo fell apart. It wasn’t as bad, wasn’t as violent as when Yixing had, but it hurt him just as much.

“He left, Jongin. He left.”

“Shh, shh,” Jongin whispered, holding Kyungsoo as he shook, “He didn’t want to leave, he’s going to come back.”

“But no one ever did,” Kyungsoo cried, “They all left and never came back. Mum left, Subin left, HyunJoon left, and dad-.”

“Kyungsoo, Kyungsoo,” Jongin called softly, combing his fingers through his boyfriends soft, brown hair. “They all chose to leave, Joonmyun didn’t choose, Joonmyun wants to come back, Joonmyun is going to come back.”

“Subin didn’t, she didn’t choose to leave.”

“’Soo, you know she can’t-“

“Promise you won’t leave me, Jongin. Promise.” Kyungsoo pleaded, voice cracking on every word.

“It’s okay,” he cooed, Kyungsoo’s hair, “I promise I’m not going to leave you, don’t even think that I’d leave you, not ever.”

Kyungsoo continued to cry- for how long they were both unsure, but it was when Kyungsoo finally calmed down that he shook his head, and let go of Jongin, smiling sadly. It was clear he was still trying to hold himself together.

He opened his mouth to speak, but Jongin took the words right out.

“Come on, let’s get this stuff and get back home.”

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Yixing was still in the same position when they returned. He could tell Yixing was exhausted, so Kyungsoo cooked dinner almost instantly and the group ate in silence, not much actually being eaten as Yixing couldn’t stomach it, and he soon excused himself to go to bed, thanking Kyungsoo and apologizing for not eating much.

It was when he went to pull his jeans off that he realized that the USB Joonmyun had given him was in there. Changing into (Joonmyun’s) pajamas before crawling into bed, he turned the computer on and plugged it in, noticing that there were two files inside. One titled ‘For Your Listening Purposes’, and the other titled ‘For Your Viewing Purposes’. Yixing smiled to himself, but it didn’t quite reach his eyes.

Deciding to click on the viewing purposes one first, he noticed it was a whole file of videos, and realized that Joonmyun had noticed that he liked to watch him sing. He went through the list of songs, noting how in a lot he was wearing different items of clothing, filmed at different times of the day. There were ones at his house, ones at Yixing’s house, even one in Yixing’s backyard, which he figured he’d done that last night he stayed at Yixing’s whilst his parents were home and the two had fallen asleep- except Joonmyun musn’t have.

He thought that a lot of them must have been filmed as he was sleeping, or at dance practice, Kyungsoo’s dancing in the background of a few a confirmation. He laughed at the mistake videos that he put at the end of every song, losing it when Kyungsoo got especially seedy and Joonmyun hurled a book at his crotch. He decided that that he liked it better when Joonmyun sang Hyuna, too. His eyes once again filled up with tears, and they streamed down his face more and more as he got farther down the list. The second last video was a Chinese song that Joonmyun had taken a liking to, and that Yixing had decided to teach him, he was sure Joonmyun had worn those clothes the other day too. Yixing smiled at Joonmyun’s perfect pronunciation, and the rhythmic strumming that he had featured in other songs, but that Yixing loved the most in this one because he had taught him.

When he reached the final video, he found that it was not in fact a song, but a video message Joonmyun had left. He smiled as Joonmyun’s upper body and face filled the screen, hands clasped together.

“So Yixing-ah… well, what can I say? You’re sleeping at the moment, and even though you might get annoyed with me for not waking you up because I leave tomorrow, you looked too cute for me to disturb you... Plus it means I don’t have to get out of bed tonight to record this,” Joonmyun smiled nervously. “I really hope you loved all those like I love you, if you watched them before this of course… And if you go from the bottom to top (Joonmyun laughed), I hope you love them like I love you, too,” he said, nervous smile turning into a soft one. “All the audio files are in the other folder, and don’t worry, there are none of Kyungsoo complaining about how he was wounded,” he laughed, and Yixing let out a chuckle too. “I just want you to know, and I’m sure you do already because I tell you all the time, but anyway, I want you to know that I really really love you. I love you a lot,” he said, eyes starting to glisten, and Yixing could feel the tears starting up again. “Whenever I wake up, I wake up happy because I realize that I have you. Whenever I wake up next to you, or cuddling you, I feel even happier because I not only realize, but I have proof that I have you. Whenever I wake up now in some dorm in some school, well until you get sick of me and dump me, I’m going to be happy because I still have you, no matter how far away we are. I’ll be sad though too, because I won’t be able to wake up next to you, but that’s okay, I guess, because when I come back we’ll have all the time in the world,” Yixing could see silent Joonmyun crying now, and hated him because now he was crying too. It was at this point that he realized that this was why when he’d been woken up by Joonmyun, he had been crying. “I’m going to miss you so much, you know. Your smile makes my day and your dancing is the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. I know you don’t like your singing, but you really have a perfect voice, so promise me you’ll sing too, okay? Promise me too, that if you find someone you like more than me that you’ll tell me?” Joonmyun’s voice cracked, and the tears were falling faster. Yixing knew Joonmyun couldn’t see him, but he was shaking his head profusely, whimpering out 'No, no, I’d never like anyone more than you, don’t even think that’s a possibility,' as tears streamed down his face, now faster than the ones permanently set in the video. “Don’t worry about me; I just want you to be happy, and I’d rather that then you being stuck in a relationship with me because you feel sorry for me.” Joonmyun’s shoulders were slumped, head in his hands, before he regained his composure and sniffed back, looking up once again. “I really really love you a lot, and there is so much I could say in this video but I won’t because you’ll get bored, and even if you didn’t, this thing would run out of battery,” Joonmyun let out a shaky laugh. “I know we’ve talked about our futures a lot, and you are the only person I imagine loving and being with in these futures, so I hope that that becomes a reality. I guess we just have to wait a few years, don’t we? Anyway, I’ll shut up now, you’re probably really bored. Just remember that I really really love you, I’m going to miss you a whole lot, as well as that other bunch, but you especially. Make sure to look after everyone and look after yourself a lot, I don’t want you getting hurt! I’ll make sure to message you every day and ring or video call when I can, and if I don’t you can dump me because I obviously don’t deserve you.” Joonmyun made a heart with his hands to the screen. “I love you, okay? It’s you, it’s always been you and it always will be you. Don’t miss me too much, I’ll be back before you know it! You’re perfect, okay? I love you so much!”

The video ended, and all Yixing could think of was ‘no, you’re wrong, you’re perfect’ as he cried once again. He couldn’t fathom how much he’d miss Joonmyun.

Kyungsoo and Jongin had been talking in bed when they’d heard the sound of crying, and Kyungsoo had decided to come and see Yixing. As he peered through the door, and saw the laptop at a sobbing Yixing’s feet, he realized what he had just watched, as he came and put a hand on Yixing’s shoulder, grabbing his hand and gesturing for him to come with him. Yixing followed, not wanting to be alone, and didn’t argue when a worried looking Jongin greeted him at the door and made him lay in the center of the bed, Kyungsoo and himself laying either side. Yixing clutched on to Jongin as he cried who held him against his chest as Kyungsoo hugged him from the back, running a hand through his hair as he whispered and cooed and rubbed his arm. Yixing’s breath finally evened out as he fell asleep, and all Jongin could hear was his soft snores and Kyungsoo’s soft sniffles. He reached a hand over, grabbing for the one that Kyungsoo had placed on Yixing’s arm, and interlaced his fingers, giving it a soft squeeze. Soon he heard the sniffles from his boyfriend disappear as he fell asleep, and finally he found he could sleep too.

Chapter 25: This was one of the best Sulay fics I've read! I Loved all the main characters, but specially Jongin. He was just the sweetest :) I might have shed a tear more than once whilst reading it, you were just sooo good at writing the characters suffering. The storyline was good and I don't know why I thought they were gonna break-up after chapter 17, but they figured it out and I definitely screamed YAASS when Joonmyun finally was going home XD and the ending was perfect! Good job writing this!!! <3
