It was completely silent after Jieun had answered the question. Jaejoong had his eyebrows raised but the most surprised would be Taehyung. Now, he didn’t doubt Jieun’s feelings for him but it was more of the way Jieun responded. It was completely unexpected and his heart was pounding like crazy but he enjoyed the feeling. Taehyung shifted his eyes to Jaejoong who seemed to be in shock.

“Oppa, I’m sorry you had to find out about us this way but I promise you that I didn’t do it on purpose. I wanted to be ready to tell you but then things got out of hand and-“

“Araso” Jaejoong interrupted Jieun and she looked at him confused.

“Wait, what?” She asked.

“Araso” Jaejoong repeated.

“Araso? That’s it?” Jieun asked.

Jaejoong sighed. “You’re old enough to make decisions on your own and I should respect your decisions. I know you would’ve told me when you were ready and I apologize for overreacting the way I did. You are my only sister and the only family member that I have left and if being with Taehyung makes you happy, then you two have my blessings”

Jieun and Taehyung were speechless as they looked at Jaejoong. He stood up and walked over to Taehyung and held his hand out. Taehyung slowly reached out and took Jaejoong’s hand as he stood up.

“Taehyung-sshi, please take care of Jieun for me. She can be a handful at times but she’s the best sister I could ever have. We didn’t have our parents to look up to when we were younger so I took on the role and made sure she had everything she needed. Please continue to protect her, cherish her, and love her because she is the only family member I have”

Jieun could feel her cheeks getting wet as tears were rolling down. She quickly wiped them away with her hand but her tears just kept on coming.

Taehyung nodded his head. “Don’t worry. I’ll love her more than anything”

Before she knew it, Jieun started crying out loud. Taehyung and Jaejoong looked at her and smirked.

“Aigo, how can I not be worried about you if you’re like this?” Jaejoong said as he pulled Jieun up to hug her.

Jieun sniffed. “I was so scared before and then you go and say those cheesy words so how can I not cry?”

Jaejoong chuckled. “How can I ever be mad at my dongsaeng?” He pulled back and ruffled Jieun’s hair.

“Oppa…” Jieun whined.

“Wae?”

“Thank  you..” Jaejoong smiled. “..and I love you”  She hugged Jaejoong one more time.
