Rejected?
The Darkest BetrayalIt was night time and Jieun was still thinking about Daehyun’s present as she laying down on her bed. *Why would that be for me?*
Jieun turned her head and her eyes shifted to the elegant box that was sitting on her desk.
Inside the box was something she never thought she would get from Daehyun. Never. Not in a million years would she ever expect something like that from him.
She sighed and looked away. *It can’t be. He’s probably playing a prank on me* Jieun shifted her body to a more comfortable position and closed her eyes for the rest of the night.

Monday morning arrived and it was a rainy day. Jieun got off the bus and headed towards her school. As she approached closer to the entrance, she saw B.A.P laughing and causally talking with one another. The first one to see her was none other than Daehyun. He looked at her but something was a little bit different with his expression. It was sort of like he wanted to say something but he didn’t know how. Jieun caught his eyes and she gulped. Thankfully, Youngjae caught on and spotted Jieun.
“Oh, it’s Jieun” He announced. The boys all looked except for Yongguk. Jieun felt uncomfortable and still didn’t want to admit she was wrong. She cleared and looked away as she walked in a different direction.
“She’s still not going to apologize?” Youngjae asked.
Daehyun shrugged.
“Let her be” Yongguk said as he walked towards the entrance.
Meanwhile, Jieun entered her classroom and took out her phone to see if she got any texts from Taehyung. None. Zilch.
Jieun frowned and decided to be the first one to text him.
“What are you up to today? Am I going to see you later at the usual spot?”
Jieun pressed the send button and sighed. To be honest, her mind was still on Daehyun’s present. She just couldn’t shake it out of her head.
Throughout the rest of the school day, she sat in class doodling random drawings. When it was finally time to leave, Jieun packed her books and took out her phone to see if Taehyung replied.
Fortunately he did. However, it was not the response she wanted.
“Hey babe, sorry for not texting back earlier. I don’t think I will be able to see you later. My group has something to do. I’ll see you tomorrow, maybe?”
Jieun frowned.
“Araso.”
She put her phone away and silently walked to the bus stop alone in the pouring rain.
Meanwhile, Taehyung was with BTS as usual and they were playing pool at their usual spot.
“Score!” Jungkook shouted as he got a ball in one of the pockets.
“Taehyung, your turn” J
