Eunmi looked at Jieun, still confused.

“What do you mean you can’t have him? He’s yours now”

“Exactly. He’s mine now but it doesn’t mean he’ll be mine forever” Jieun explained.

“But..I still don’t understand why you can’t have him? Is it because of me? I know I’m around him a lot…if it bothers you, tell me” Eunmi asked. Jieun shook her head.

“Don’t worry about it” Jieun stood up and turned to Eunmi, “please don’t tell Taehyung any of this. I want to tell him myself” Eunmi simply nodded her head. Jieun headed back inside the school.

Jieun sat in class and stared at her phone. She sighed for the hundredth time.

“Kim Jieun! Please put your phone away and pay attention!” The professor shouted. Jieun quickly shoved her phone in her backpack.

“Ah, mianhaeyo!” Jieun turned slightly red. *I guess I’ll just call him during lunch*

Time was ticking too slow for Jieun. She felt anxious. She didn’t know how to break the news to Taehyung. It wasn’t fair to either one of them but what else could they do?

It was finally lunch time and Jieun took advantage of the time to call Taehyung.

“Yobosaeyo? Jieun?” Taehyung answered.

“Taehyung-ah?”

“Wae? Why are you calling me during school hours?” He asked.

“Can you meet me outside at the back of the school?”

“Wae? Is something wrong?”

“Just come, I’ll be waiting” Jieun quickly hung up the phone. Her heart was pumping faster and faster. She was going to do it. She was going to break up with Taehyung. There’s no turning back now.

Jieun arrived to the back of the school and made sure no one was following her. She leaned against the brick wall and waited for Taehyung.

“Jieun!” Taehyung was walking towards Jieun with his hands in his pockets and he had a big goofy grin on his face.
