“Eunmi, tell Suga how much you still love him”

Suga’s eyes widened and he looked at Eunmi in disbelief.

“What the hell are you saying?!” Suga snapped at Jieun. “Is this your idea of revenge after I broke you and Taehyung up?”

Eunmi stared at the ground, unable to speak. Jieun kept her eyes on Eunmi.

“How low of you to go around digging up people’s past and using it against them?!” Suga shouted. He spun around and started to walk towards the door, leaving the rooftop.

“I don’t have time for your crap” He coldly said. Eunmi clenched her fist and gulped.

“Wait!” Eunmi suddenly shouted. Suga stopped walking.

“I still love you, Suga” Eunmi gently said. Suga scoffed and turned to glare at Eunmi.

“So I see you have joined Jieun’s side” Eunmi quickly shook her head.

“I’m not on anyone’s side. I’m simply telling the truth..”

“How can you do this? How do you expect me to believe you after all these years?!” Suga shouted. “Do you understand what kind of pain I had to go through to move on with my life?!”

Eunmi looked at Suga who was breathing hard and obviously angry.

“I don’t expect you to believe me or even forgive me but I do hope you’ll allow me to explain myself” Eunmi said.

“Why should I?”

“Because it’s only right that you know the truth” Suga clenched his fist. His heart was pounding hard.

“You have 3 minutes”

Eunmi glanced at Jieun and she gave Eunmi a reassuring nod. Eunmi started to explain what really happened and why she did what she did. When she finished explaining herself, she looked at Suga for some kind of reaction. However, Suga didn’t show any facial expressions. He remained still.

“I’m truly sorry, Yoongi” Eunmi softly said. Suga closed his eyes and gulped. Only Eunmi would call him by his real name. Actually, he only allowed Eunmi to him by that. He felt lost, confused, disappointed but he also wanted to hug Eunmi and just forget everything that happened between them. It’s been tough for Suga after his breakup with Eunmi. He started to change as a person. He wasn’t this rude, short-tempered guy right now. In fact, he was more of a dorky and playful guy but his breakup with Eunmi changed him.

“If you’re done talking, I’ll be on my way” Suga simply said and left the rooftop. He walked down two flights of stair before he turned towards the wall and punched it a couple of times. His heart ached more than ever now that he knew the truth.

“Pabo..why didn’t you just tell me?” He whispered under his breath.

Eunmi stared at the door helplessly where Suga left while Jieun walked over and hugged her.

“You were brave, Eunmi. Just give him some time to think about what you just said. Although it would’ve been nice if you told us the truth sooner, I’m still grateful you were able to finally tell us” Jieun said.

“You’re not mad at me?”  Jieun shook her head.

“How can I be mad at someone who wanted to help her family out by sacrificing the love of her life?”

“Thank you Jieun!” Eunmi finally smiled and hugged her tightly. “For being here for me”

“That’s what friends are for” Jieun responded. Eunmi wiped her tears away.

“Bu what about you and Taehyung? He still doesn’t know what is going on”

Jieun frowned. “You should go tell him now before it’s too late” Jieun remained still, still debating.

“What are you waiting for? Go now!” Eunmi said and gave her a little push on the back.

“Hwaiting Jieun!” Jieun smirked and nodded at Eunmi before she ran off.

Jieun knew that just because Suga knows the truth now, it doesn’t mean that he will accept Eunmi’s apologies but it doesn’t matter anymore to Jieun. She knows about Suga’s past and his weakness, Eunmi.
