“Cheers!” My friends lifted up their shot glasses before downing in a shot of tequila. I on the other hand, am enjoying my glass of Coke, having a low alcohol tolerance.

“You sure you don’t want some tequila?” Eric waved his drink in front of me, causing some to spill on the table.

“Yep. I’m pretty sure. We don’t want THAT to happen again.” We all laughed, remembering that time I was so drunk I gave a random waitress a . No more alcohol for me after that.

“Well I think Eric should not be allowed to have shots too. Please spare my lips from the Kissing Monster.” Peniel said while covering his lips.

“Noooo… Not my precioussss!” Eric sluggishly said while defending his shot glasses.

“Ayyy… I offer Kevin instead! Come on man, let’s switch seats! I don’t want to be harassed again.” Peniel aggressively tugged Kevin’s shirt to get him off the chair.

“I. Wont. Be. Another. Sacrifice!” Kevin fought back, slapping Peniel’s hands.

I smiled seeing my crazy friends. How lucky am I to have them? Feeling her hand on my thigh, I looked up at Ailee.

“It’s nice to see you’re back to normal again. You being quiet is not normal it’s going to drive me crazy.” Ailee leaned in, whispering in my ear.

“I’m sorry. Don’t burden yourself too much. You’re getting wrinkles.” I examined her face, caressing the area beside her right eye.

“How can I not? I’m your girlfriend, Amber. I guess I’ll just wait for you to open up yourself.” She sighed. We both turned out attention back to Rome who just got back from the restroom.

“Hey Amber.” Rome called out with his Australian accent, unshaken by time spent in Korea.

“Yeah?”

“GD is Krystal’s boyfriend, right?” He said as he comfortably sat back down in his seat.

“Yeah, why?” My full attention was caught, hearing Krystal’s name.

“I saw him as I passed by the VIP lounge a while ago. But… He’s with another girl.” Rome looked at me carefully, as if spilling some dark secret. I felt everyone’s gaze at me. Hearing what Rome say just made me lose all sanity that I stood up abruptly, planning to head toward the lounge.

“Amber!” Ailee held my arm, preventing me from moving any further. I just shrugged it off in response, heading towards my destination.
