Jessica gave her husband one last look and turned away, she was so confused on what just happened. Yuri has a family outside their marriage? What does it mean? She felt her breathing hitch up and the heavy breathing turned to painful sobs. She never felt this kind of emotion before, not even when she was left by her ex fiancé. She trusts her husband more than anyone, she knows that Yuri understands her pain and will never do such thing to her, ever. What will happen to her now?

 

Yuri doesn’t have to ask, he saw anger and bitterness in Jessica’s eyes, but the thing that struck him the most is the pain that was written all over her face as she looks at him.     “Aren’t you gonna follow her?” he heard Sunny one of Jessica’s best friends ask him with a hollowed gaze.   Yuri snapped into his momentary stillness. ‘Right, I need to explain to my wife’ Yuri thought he was about to go after Jessica but Victoria held his arms tightly.   “Victoria please, I just need to talk to my wife” Yuri said as he tried to free himself from Yonghwa’s mother.   “Your son is dying here; Yuri… your wife is healthy! You can talk to her anytime you want, but Yonghwa might not even survive this! Are you seriously leaving us alone?!” Victoria look at him, Yuri can’t answer her.. He was lost, his brain was agreeing with the woman but all of him desperately wants to go to Jessica. He helplessly looks at Sunny who was still standing with them.   But Sunny just gave a glare before running to catch Jessica.  Yuri followed can help but to follow her with his eyes.   “Yu---“Victoria called dizzily, Yuri look at her and to his shock Victoria’s body fell limply in his arms. “Vic!”     +++++++++ Jessica takes the first taxi that she saw outside the hospital, she was so agitated that her whole body was still trembling. She asked the driver to take her to her father’s mansion. She can’t go home right now, she was so angry at Yuri at this point.  Her phone was continuously vibrating but she didn’t even bother to take a look at it.  She looks outside the window with no hope in her eyes; the more it sank in the more it hurts her.  She burst out into tears again when she recalled that she can’t even give him a child.   She picked up her phone and ignored the calls, it was Sunny. She pressed the speed dials as she let out faint sobs.   “Hello” A comforting voice answered the phone.   “D-Daddy..” Jessica tears up, as she called the only man who can really care for her.   “Princess! Are you crying?” Her old man asked worriedly.   Jessica bit her lips, “D-Dad… can I stay in your house” her voice cracked.   “What? W-Why? What happened?” Mr. Jung asked again.   “Daddy please..”Jessica doesn’t want to answer her father’s questions.   “Where are you?”   “I’m on my way..”   “Stop crying Jessica, daddy will be there” the old man assured her only daughter.     ++++++++     It’s almost 8 PM when Yuri was finally be able to go home, Yonghwa was already doing fine before he go, Victoria fainted and the doctor said that she is having a mild nervous breakdown because of excessive stress.   Yuri rushed in their house as soon as Victoria woke up. He was so worried about his wife and he desperately wants to see her to explain things. Yuri knows that Jessica is mad at him and he don’t want to make it worst as it is.   The uniform maid opened the door for him.   “Where’s my wife?” He asked the maid in urgency, but before the woman uttered a single word he already sprinted upstairs on their room. He began to panic when he realized that Jessica was not there. He immediately looks at the closet and he found that some of his wife’s clothes are missing. “Oh God… She left...” He nervously goes back downstairs.   “Did Jessica tell you where she’s going?” He almost yelled at the maid who looks at him in wide eyes.   “M-madam… sent her secretary to pick up her clothes Sir Yuri, she didn’t say anything!” the poor girl stuttered.   “Damn it!” Yuri gritted his teeth as he brushed his face with his hands roughly.  He dialed the number of his father in law nervously.   “Hello” the man greeted with a cold tone, unlike his usual friendly way.   “D-dad..”   “So you finally got the time to call” the old man said in a blank tone.   “I’m sorry Dad---“   “I don’t want to hear explanations Yul, because there’s no enough explanation that I can accept when I saw my daughter crying her eyes out”   “Dad..”   “She is here in the house, she is safe. If that’s your reason for calling”   “Can I speak with her? I really need to talk to my wife dad.. I beg you” Yuri pleaded to the old Jung, He heard the man sigh.   “If you want to speak to her, better not do it in phone.”   “Can I go there?”   “Suit yourself”   +++++++   Jessica was hugging her pillow as she sadly looks at their old family picture. She smiled as she trace the face of her mother who was kindly looking at the camera with a big smile on her face as she hugs a 7 year old girl flashing her braces and medal. While the younger version of her dad was holding a big trophy. She always love that picture of them, they are so happy back then.   Her parents showed her a perfect example of how a family should be.
