Jessica looked at her watch for the nth time, it’s already 11:00 pm and her husband is not yet home. He was supposed to be at home 6 hours ago, she worriedly called Yuri again but it seems that his phone was already dead. ‘Seobang where are you?’ She thought as she stares at the food she prepared.  Yuri is not the type who will go home late; if he does he will inform her first since he knows that she will be worried. If he doesn’t arrive till midnight she will report him missing.

 

Jessica slowly starts to clean up the table, her helpers were already resting. She is planning to have a perfect dinner with Yuri since they rarely spent alone time, her husband is a very busy person and she also has obligations at work. She just sighed… “Seobang go hoame already..”  

 

+++++++   Yuri found himself inside a hotel room; he carefully laid down the sleeping kid on his bed. He stared at the little one’s pale angelic face that was now snuggling a teddy bear. He absent mindedly smiled with all the cuteness, it’s actually his first time to hold a child in his arms. It’s so unfamiliar but it also gives him a warm feeling… he carefully put a blanket over the little child’s body.   “Thank you..” He heard a woman’s voice in his side.   “He is a good looking kid.” He just said, as he looks up at her.    “What can I say… He’s my little me” The girl chuckled and leaned to kiss the child’s forehead.   Yuri couldn’t take of his eyes of the two people in front of him, the sight is so beautiful and intimate, and he couldn’t help but adore it.   “We need to talk Yul” the woman said when she pulled out from the child.   “That’s my thoughts exactly, Victoria” Yuri replied as he stand up from the child’s bed.   “I missed the way you say my name” Victoria smiled at him sadly, which took Yuri by surprise. “Follow me.” She said and starts to walk out of the room as silent as possible.   They both reach the kitchen area and Victoria starts to prepare wine for herself, “Would you like some?” She asked Yuri who settled himself in one of the tall chair.   “No, thanks.” Yuri looked at her again with a serious face.   Victoria just nodded as she sips on her glass. “I’m very sorry Yul, I don’t mean to barge in to you peaceful life”   “Is he really mine?” Yuri asked directly.   Victoria looks at him with a bitter expression “Do you doubt me?”   Yuri didn’t answer, He spent most of his years loving Victoria, he was so inlove he use to worship even the ground  she walks in, If only she didn’t leave, there’s no doubt in his mind that she will end up as his wife and the mother of his children. But now he doesn’t know what to think anymore. Cause this person who he loves with no reservation, is also the person who hurt him and left him with almost nothing.   “Then why just now? Why do you appear in my life again like this?” Yuri can hear the accusation in his own voice, his heart felt like bursting.   Victoria’s tears rolled on her face as he looks at him. “I’m sorry Yuri,  I was so scared then… I was in a foreign country with no one. I promised myself that I won’t go back here empty handed.  Eight months after I left I gave birth to Yonghwa, I want to go back to you but… when I get back you already married the JunGlobal heiress..”   Yuri just listened, he didn’t realized that he’s tears were flowing as well.   “I don’t want to ruin your marriage, please believe me… It’s just that, Yong needs his father. My child is sick Yuri..I can’t do this alone anymore..” Victoria broke down.   Yuri run in her side and hugs her in pity...” What do you mean… h-he’s sick?” he stuttered as he held Victoria in his arms.   “He have an Severe Immune deficiency syndrome, he was undergoing treatment since he was born..” Victoria cried harder as she tried to explain the condition of her child. “A month ago… he almost died because of an infection.” She looks at Yuri.. “Our child is a ticking time bomb Yuri.. I thought I can handle it.. But I was wrong, the doctors says that he might not survive the next infection. I’m so scared..” She wept as she leans on Yuri’s chest. “Asking you for anything are something that I never want to do… but please Yuri, our Yonghwa needs you” the woman pleaded.   Yuri tightens his hug to the woman, all his anger and hatred was replaced with pity. Victoria suffered a lot and hearing her story only makes him feel guilty because of his absence during those times, He Victoria’s hair like the way he used to before to calm her.  He knows the right thing to do now that is to take his responsibility to Victoria and Yonghwa.. If only it is that easy.. Yuri has another person in his life that he needs to consider more than everything, and it he felt fear as he thinks about her. “God, how will I tell this to Jessica?”     ++++++++   Yuri drove still thorn with his overwhelming feelings. He was taken unprepared to the kind of situation he was in. He starts to get confused to all the things that happens today, not to mention he felt so drained as hell.. Then there was his wife.  Yuri is still not sure how to break the news to her; Jessica is a sensible and a warm hearted woman with a strong and tough façade. She thinks differently than an average woman which sometimes scare the hell out of  him, Yuri knows that her wife is very fragile, and hurting her in any way is the last thing that he wants to do.. He seen Jessica hurt before and that’s a thing that he don’t want to see ever again.     FLASHBACK     Yuri was rather irritated with everything that he sees in the hall full of people.
