"I like you."

Sungmin widened his eyes when he heard what his dear friend said. He has conquered the awkward barrier between him and Hyukjae and
they've been spending most of their times together making music and songs. They've been confiding on each other and even laugh at
their friends Kyuhyun and Ryeowook being too quiet about their relationship as if they are not boyfriends at all. He looked forward
to his endless partnership with Hyukjae being songwriters in the future but what is this now? Sungmin swallowed
upon hearing Hyukjae's confession. He didn't expect Hyukjae to be feeling that way towards him. They've been so close that Sungmin
thought it is impossible for Hyukjae to fall for Sungmin. What is he going to say? He knows he can't return back the feelings. He
doesn't see Hyukjae as someone to date. He's more like a diary to him. A very close friend. They've been together for 2 years now.
He thought he knew Hyukjae in and out but he didn't expect to hear such from his friend.

There was an awkward silence. Sungmin just stare at Hyukjae and the other did the same.

Hyukjae needed 6 more months to gather his courage to confess to Sungmin. After he found out about him breaking up with Youngwoon, he thought
maybe he should try his luck on his friend. He likes Sungmin from the very first day he saw this man. He likes how Sungmin clings to
Kyuhyun and giggle with his contagious giggle. He likes how Sungmin's eyes brighten just looking at his caramel sundae with loads of
marshmallow. He likes how Sungmin squeals when he talks about Jung Yunho. He likes how Sungmin pouts when he is upset with anything.
He likes...everything about Sungmin. He has never find anyone as adorable as he is, as lovely as he is, as easy to love as he is.

"H-Hyukjae ah..."

Hyukjae took a deep breath and swallowed before saying. "I'm not asking you to like me. I just want you to know that I like you..." he
nodded and looked down for a while. He smiled bitterly because he knew the answer he will get when he heard his name. He has prepared
himself for that as well. He has prepared his heart to scatter to pieces as soon as this conversation is over. He has prepared to
turn his back on this friend of his after the rejection part. But of course, why would Sungmin want to be friends with him? It'll be
very awkward. But he also knows he have to let this out. Because if not, this feelings will grow even more. It's better to cut the
root now than to let it grow and kill him even more.

"W-why do you... I mean... it's just me... I'm..." I'm not special and I'm not good at everything and you deserve better.

"I like you since the day you smiled at me in school."

. That was when they were freshmen in college. Hyukjae likes him since they first met. Why didn't he even notice that? Or... was
he really that numb? Hyukjae smiled as he looked down. "I won't expect anything, Sungmin ah... if you can't like me... at least don't
hate me." he looked down with a smile. He has said his part and he should pat his own back because of it. You still did a good job,
Lee Hyukjae.

Sungmin stepped forward and hugged Hyukjae. The other was dumbfounded. He was rejected. Yes he is. But when he turned to his side,
Sungmin's cheek is just so close to his. "I don't hate you..." he said. "In fact, I like you more for being honest." Sungmin let go
and looked at his dear friend. "We will always be friend Hyukkie ah. You'll be my closest friend..."

Closest friend? Yeah, that sounds good too. At least he is not abandoned. At least Sungmin doesn't hate him. He smiled and nodded
his head. Yeah, they can be close friends. He swear to be the closest friend Sungmin could ever have. He'll win his heart that way.
And maybe...when he cannot find anyone to love, he can finally see his closest friend, still waiting for him with open arms.

"Min, can I ask you something?" Hyukjae asked. He has been curious about this even while Youngwoon is still in the picture. Sungmin
seemed like he didn't hear a confession from the other earlier. He looked at Hyukjae while waiting for the question comfortably. This
is Sungmin, if anything goes wrong, he'll smile it all off and everything is back to normal. He is Lee Hyukjae, Sungmin's closest friend.

"Do you... I mean...do you like Kyuhyun?"

Sungmin chuckled. That's a silly question. "I don't like Kyung, Hyukkie. I love him. He's the only bestfriend I've got." he said
casually. What a stupid question! Like? Like is only for those who admire others.

"No." Hyukjae shook his head. "I mean... do you love him? not as your bestfriend. Do you love him as a significant person?"

Sungmin crossed his eyebrows and was confused with Hyukjae's question. Why would he ask such? Does he love Kyuhyun? Of course he does.
He has been loving the other since the time he met him in the orphanage. He has always been the ideal person for Sungmin. Of course
he love his best friend. As a significant person? Wait, Sungmin hasn't thought of that... he just knew he cannot live without Kyuhyun
in his life. He just knew he'll always be there for Kyuhyun. He just knew he'll spend a lifetime with Kyuhyun. He looked at Hyukjae
and is simply lost for words.

Sender: Hyukkiejae
Message: [Get home and bring some spare clothes!]

Sungmin shook his head shortly and off he goes to the bus. Why did Kyuhyun ask him to meet in the train station? Will he be staying
in the other's place tonight? He bit his lower lip with the thought. It always happen when they meet up. He's not complaining though.
He loves being in Kyuhyun's embrace. He loves the sound of their breathings together. He loves everything that they've been doing.
He's loves everything as long as Kyuhyun is happy with him.

9 more stops and he'll reach the train station soon. He checked the clock. It's quite early but he's quite sure Kyuhyun will be
waiting for him a little bit more. He has learn his lesson in a hard way. He'll never be late. Sungmin rested his head at the window
side. The set up has always been like this; they'll meet somewhere and will end up in either Kyuhyun's place or his and yet his
heart never stop beating crazily with just the thought of seeing Kyuhyun.

Since when did he felt it? No, it has probably been here. It's just that Kyuhyun has always been so special to him that he thought
it is normal to look at a person that way. If it wasn't for what happened that time... he wouldn't realise how much he has been
loving Kyuhyun. Sungmin looked down. No, he won't think about how Kyuhyun feels for him. He doesn't care about it. As long as
Kyuhyun is with him. He doesn't care what Kyuhyun feels for him... or if he has feelings for him at all.

Kyuhyun is looking at some advertisements in front of the train station while waiting for Sungmin. He was in deep thoughts too. He
doesn't like thinking too much. But he has a lot of things to consider. There are a lot of things posted on the board and in his mind.
Blocks, numbers, sizes, colours, Ryeowook, Sungmin, Kyuhyun. His hands in his pocket while his eyes are focused on the left most part
of the advertisement board. He closed his eyes shortly. Numbers and colours and scenes of what could be flashes in his mind.

He jolted when a finger poked his waist but his expression didn't really change. He opened his eyes and turned to the side and found
Sungmin smiling brightly despite the darkness of the night. Sungmin appearing in front of his is always like the sun outshadowing the
dark clouds. His thoughts of his earlier activity cleared out and all he sees is Sungmin standing with his eyeblinding sunbeams.

"Hi!" he said in a high pitched voice. He looked at Kyuhyun shortly and turned to the ads. "What are you looking at?" his lips
pursed while looking at the board. Floor number, train stations, fully furnished, semi-furnished, studio type...blah blah blah...
what is this?

Kyuhyun breathe in for a while and pointed on the map beside the advertisements. "Your workplace is located here." He said.
"The hospital is here." he then pointed to another direction almost opposite of Sungmin's workplace. "I'm thinking of getting a place
in the eastern part right here." Kyuhyun pointed to another location as he explains. "So you can still work and I can still see Ryeowook.
I don't mind the transfer of work since mine is a homebase." Yup, he works as an article translator and heck, it pays a lot!
Sungmin looked at him trying to understand what he is talking about.

"It won't be too long for a travel too if you will come from here to work. What do you think?"

Wait, wait, wait. What is Kyuhyun talking about? He shook his head shortly and looked at Kyuhyun. Sungmin knows map reading is definitely
a weakness for him. You can give him a test on which keynote is which and which fret is for this sound but never a map reading.
The other sigh and used his index finger.

"Look at this train map, Min." Kyuhyun said slowly as if Sungmin cannot understand Hangul at all. "You are 8 stops away from the train
and you'll have to ride a bus straight to  your company whereas Ryeong's hospital is-"

"Kyuhyun ah, I don't really understand. What are you talking about?"

Sungmin doesn't understand anything that Kyuhyun say. What is he talking about? Why is he suddenly interested in logistics and map
reading? He knows that Kyuhyun is intelligent and all but if he is bored, he doesn't need to share this mapping skills with Sungmin.
He looked at Kyuhyun and the latter knows that he is having a hard time understanding whatever it is. A gentle smile for Sungmin.

"I'm eyeing on this location." he point to a certain place in the eastern district. "What do you think?"

"Uhh... Kyuhyun ah," his hand on his head pretending to scratch cutely. "I don't really understand. You know how many times I got
lost in the university before finding the library, right?"

Kyuhyun closed his eyes with a smile. Sungmin can be stupid sometimes. "I'm thinking whether we can get a flat here so we're still
in between our responsibilities. With your pay and mine I think this location is not that bad too. We can just get a small studio
type apartment and then we can carry some of our stuffs from home so we don't need to bother buying new sets. We can get a truck to
transfer big things like closets and bed. We can still save some and it won't be too heavy of a load. It wouldn't be that bad for
a start."

Sungmin looked left and right trying to figure out the words Kyuhyun has been saying. He knows the meaning of the words; responsibilities,
apartment, bed and all but he cannot seem to comprehend what those are. He is even more lost. Kyuhyun was talking about logistics
earlier and now he's talking about small apartment and saving and... and...

wait...

no way...

...

He swallowed as he listened to Kyuhyun intently...

"You're still closer to your workplace, I can still see him..." Kyuhyun paused for a while. "We can still be together."

We can still be-? Sungmin widened his eyes. Everything is slowly syncing in his mind finally. Kyuhyun wants them to be together?
Will they be...he looked at the ads and saw the title on the top most part saying Apartments for sale/rent/lease with the maps at the
side of each location.

"It's been three years, Sungmin. I think we should start moving on." his eyes telling what has happened three years ago...they will
move on from what happened three years ago. Kyuhyun wants to move on from three years ago.

Sungmin's mouth agaped upon hearing this. "Y-You mean... we..."

"Let's move in together."

He covered his mouth with both hands as he smiled widely and giggled with glee. Kyuhyun wants to move in with him. Kyuhyun wants to
be with him as well. He raised his shoulder shortly and almost jump on the other guy for a tight hug.

"Thanks, Kyuhyun. This is really great!" his embrace is warm as always and Kyuhyun could just smile a little. "I- don't care about the location 
I don't mind if you want to stay closer to the hospital, I-I'm fine with the long travel, I'm fine with everything. I just-" he's just happy that
Kyuhyun wants to move in with him. He wants to move on and he wants to move on with Sungmin. All his feelings from a long time ago
seemed to pour out tonight. He has been thinking of convincing Kyuhyun to let him stay in his place so they can see each other
everyday. He just want to be with Kyuhyun. He just want to take care of him. Be the one to warm him when he's feeling cold. He just
want to be the one to cover the scars in his life. Now, he's just so thankful that Kyuhyun will let him do all of these.

He tightened his hug and bit his tongue and held his breath as tears seemed to be coming up soon. He has waited for this and now
it's happening. I just- want us to be together.

It'll be fine to move on...because that's what life is all about. It'll be fine for him and Sungmin. He wrapped his arms around
Sungmin tightly. It'll be fine. He turned to Sungmin. A naughty grin and a whisper. "My place?"

Sungmin shook his head immediately but with a smile. "I didn't bring extra clothes. Hyukjae scolded me because of it earlier." he
said but he laughed it off as if he didn't mind. "He even asked me to buy some underwear because I wasn't wearing any earlier."

Hearing Hyukjae scolding Sungmin off made Kyuhyun remembered the past. How Hyukjae would scold Sungmin because he's been dating Youngwoon
and has been neglecting his job as a songwriter in The Rookies. He chuckled when Sungmin told him what happened.

"How is he?"

"Still the same. You know we're looking for singers. You should go for an audition." Kyuhyun shook his head with the idea.

"Not with Hyukjae's company. You know how much he hates me."

Sungmin looked down and pouted. Of course he knows why. But then this conversation won't spoil his day. He smiled and lightened up.
"Why don't we-" before he could even say his answer to Kyuhyun's question, he was already dragged to the train station and they
boarded towards Sungmin's place.

Kyuhyun knew what the other is thinking about. He knows Sungmin remembered why Hyukjae hated him but it doesn't matter. Losing a
friend is not a big deal to him. Losing Hyukjae is not a big deal. Hyukjae can hate him for all he care but it won't change a thing.

*Author's note: I told you I like Hyukjae's character. He's
my favourite. Anyways, I enjoyed reading your comments.
Some of you have really nice plots and are giving me an idea
of what to do and what not to do haha!

But honestly, is the flow going smoothly? Or is there any of you having
a hard time following? Please tell us so I can guide you or your friends can
help you.

 Anyways, this won't end soon because there are a lot of things
that is going to happen. But my principal actually gave me 7
books to read so I'll probably be updating a little bit slowly.
You'll wait for me, right? hihihi^^
