------------------POV 3 YEARS AGO-----------------

Days and weeks and now a month passed by and Ryeowook is still in the same state. Everyone is in the same state. Sungmin has been
staying with Kyuhyun trying to convince him to go to school instead of forcing himself to look after Ryeowook. Jaejoong doesn't even
want him to be in front of the patient's room but at least a glimpse of the other won't be that bad for him.

"Ryeong will be fine, Kyuhyun. Jae hyung is looking after him."

Kyuhyun was in a blank, dirty state. He hasn't been taking care of himself. His hair has grown longer and his mustache haven't been
shaved. "Jaejoong doesn't even want me to see him."

Sungmin sighed deeply. Kyuhyun needs to get a grip and learn how to stand up. Even Jae Hyung is taking things well. But him...

Sungmin knelt down and wrapped his arms around Kyuhyun. His head on the other's shoulder. "You know that I'm still here, Kyuhyun.
When everyone has left you, I will still be here." Kyuhyun turned to him and tears started coming up again. Sungmin always appear
before him. Even before this incident happened, it is Sungmin who will always appear before him. Now even with Ryeowook's lifeless
state, Sungmin is still before him. He hopes Sungmin will never change; that he'll always stay by his side. A short smile of
appreciation and a kiss on Sungmin's forehead as a reward. Sungmin has been doing a lot for him these days, he knows he should do
something for Sungmin as well.

Hyukjae is still in the same state too. Being the third person to see how Kyuhyun and Sungmin's world revolve. His eyes will always
be on Sungmin; looking at him with the same admiration. Watching over him... hoping for a day that Sungmin will finally get tired of
taking care of Kyuhyun and would come to him to rest. He doesn't know his role in this story but he knows why he exists in Sungmin's
world...that's to look after him.

Hyukjae watched Sungmin as he yawn widely on his chair. Jeez, Sungmin's dark circles are just so obvious even from where he sits. He
looks tired and it seems like he hasn't had a good sleep since that day. The professor in front is discussing lectures about this and
that and Sungmin's eyes are literally closing slowly.

"Yah..." Hyukjae whispered making Sungmin opened his eyes widely and shook his head. A short sigh before turning to his friend. "What's
going on?"

Sungmin sighed again before shaking his head. "I went to see Kyuhyun last night. He insisted on staying in the hospital for a while.
When he got home he had a hard time sleeping so I accompanied him the whole night."

"Since when did you become his baby sitter?"

"You know how-"

"Those 2 at the back!" The voice of the professor startled them and both looked down at the same time. "If you want to chat, get out
of my class!"

Both of them looked down and Hyukjae could just shake his head. Why is Kyuhyun being inconsiderate to his friend? He knows he is very
down but must he drag Sungmin down with him? He eyed on Sungmin as the latter yawned again. The other looks really tired. He rolled
his eyes and felt annoyed that he still can't stop himself from watching Sungmin.

"Yah..." he said as he elbowed Sungmin. "Let's go out after the class."

Sungmin thought going out means hanging out with Hyukjae, maybe eating some place where caramel sundaes are served, he sure needs sugar
today, but he was surprised when the latter the airconditioner of his car and was about to go out. "Where are you going?"
Sungmin asked, his eyes big and wondering. Hyukjae sighed first before turning to him. He took the car pillow from behind and passed
it to Sungmin.

"I'm thinking of how to say you look without saying it." Sungmin pouted when he heard what Hyukjae said. Does he look today?
He's sure he washed his face before going to school. "Can you take care of yourself before taking care of others?" Why does Hyukjae
looked a bit pissed at him? "Don't worry, my gas is full. You won't die in here."

"Huh?"

Hyukjae rolled his eyes. He his lips for a while and looked at Sungmin. "We have 45 mins before the next class. Sleep here."

"But-"

"I'll see you in a while."

Hyukjae went out and left Sungmin inside the car. Sungmin followed him with a sight. Even if he wants to turn off the engine. He doesn't
really know how to manipulate cars so he wouldn't dare touch it. He looked at the pillow that Hyukjae passed to him and looked in
front first. Hyukjae is already out of sight. He sighed deeply and manipulated the back rest of the seat. He lied down comfortably
before holding the pillow. He closed his eyes shortly before opening it again. He took his phone and send a message.

Sender: Miniming
Message: [Come back to the car. It's awkward here.]

Sender: Hyukkiejae
Message; [Sleep.]

Sender: Miniming
Message: [Come back here, then I'll sleep]

Sender: Hyukkiejae
Message: [Fine~]

Sungmin smiled and hold on to the pillow. It didn't take him minutes before completely falling asleep. He wasn't even able to wait
for Hyukjae to comeback. Hyukjae walked towards his car and looked from outside. He smiled when he saw Sungmin already asleep. He
shook his head but smiled. He watched the other sleeps peacefully from outside of his car. No, he won't come in anymore. He'll be fine
outside, watching Sungmin sleeping like this.

He looked down. He was rejected and yet it seemed like he has become closer to Sungmin because of this. He likes that fact and hates
it as well. Because he is a third person in Sungmin's life. He can witness Sungmin's smile and tears and can't do anything but to
watch from behind. He leaned his back on the door of his car. It would have been better if Sungmin accepted his confession. It would
have been a lot better. Because Sungmin doesn't need to take care of him. He'll be the one to take care of Sungmin.

Sungmin jolted up and looked around. Where the hell is he? What time is it? . Why is it too squeezy? Why is he in a compacted
space? Where the heck is he?! "Easy." He turned to the side. Hyukjae is there. What? Why he Hyukjae here? Where is the professor?
Where is his desk? Is he late for his class?
There's a steering wheel in front of his friend. What? "You're in my car. You just woke up." Sungmin sighed when he
finally awaken himself. He has the habit of looking so lost whenever he jolts up from sleep. He finally remembered where he is.

"How long did I sleep?"

"One hour thirty minutes." Hyukjae casually said.

"What?! Why didn't you wake me up! We missed the class." he panicked and searched for his bag. Where did he put his bag? Hyukjae
calmly took his bag from the backseat and passed it to him.

"Excuse me, Mr. Lee. You were snoring loudly in your sleep. Do you think I have the heart to wake you up?" Hyukjae shook his head.
"You didn't even hear the sound of your phone alarm. I can't believe you're that tired. You should tell Kyuhyun that you have classes.
If he doesn't want to attend class, fine. But you need to graduate and you need to rest too. It's not even your responsibility to
take care of him." he said and shook his head as he looked away. At the back of his mind, he sounded like a nagging boyfriend. But
it feels good to tell Sungmin about what he feels. He needs to take care of himself as well.

Sungmin looked down. "Yes it is." Hyukjae turned to him. "It is my responsibility to take care of him. He is on his own and he is my
best friend. I'm the only one he's got. Besides, if it wasn't for me-"

"It's not your fault."

"I'm still to be blamed..."

"Nobody's blaming you."

"That's what makes me guilty." he sighed deeply and turned to the window. "Kyuhyun blames himself and not me. He was late because of
me. He was distracted because of me. He accepted Ryeowook's confession because of me. Everything is all because of me. That's why
I have to take care of him."  

"You have to? or you want to?" Hyukjae asked. Sungmin turned to him, confused. "Stop finding excuses to take care of Kyuhyun, Sungmin.
You don't need to blame yourself if it is because of Ryeong. It was an accident. Just tell it to my face that you want to take care of
him."

Sungmin looked down. Of course he wants to take care of Kyuhyun. But why does it feel so wrong hearing it from Hyukjae? What's wrong
with wanting to take care of Kyuhyun? He turned away and didn't answer.

Hyukjae chuckled. "How can the two of you be so stupid? You don't even know that you're not seeing each other as just best friends."
He felt irritated. "Stop pretending to be innocent, Sungmin. You don't love him as a bestfriend... you just don't want to admit it."

It's just too obvious that Sungmin loves Kyuhyun more than any bestfriend could love his best friend. They just want to look innocent
about it. Sleeping side by side every night is no longer a best friend's duty. Taking the blame of nobody's fault is no longer a
bestfriend's duty. Hyukjae shook his head. He's not stupid... but maybe Kyuhyun and Sungmin are.

Hyukjae dropped him to Kyuhyun's place despite being scolded. "Thanks, Hyukkie." Sungmin said lazily. He didn't wait for Hyukjae to
say goodbye, he knows his friend will give him a goodbye scolding if he stays longer. It's not like he doesn't listen to him but sometimes
Hyukjae asks him questions that makes him ask himself more. He's tired. He doesn't want to think about it for now. Anyways they will
be together tomorrow since they will have to study for exams.

He went in and found Kyuhyun in one corner, looking outside. What is he thinking about? He crossed his eyebrows shortly. Something is
different in Kyuhyun. What is it?
 
"Kyuhyun..." Kyuhyun turned to him slightly and then back to looking outside. Sungmin was a little surprise to see the other now
shaved and has changed his clothes. It seemed like Kyuhyun had a haircut as well. He smiled a little; Kyuhyun going out to get a haircut
is a good sign that he's slowly getting a grip of his life. Sungmin put his bag down and opened it. "I asked
one of your classmates to jot some notes for you. Exams are coming soon. You'll need to review."

Kyuhyun turned to him. "Sungmin, do me a favour." the other looked at him. "Help me withdraw from school." Sungmin straightened up and
looked at him. What in pete's name is Kyuhyun thinking about? Why does he want to quit school? "I want to take care of him." Kyuhyun
said. Hyukjae's voice earlier lingered in his mind. You have to? or you want to? Kyuhyun wants to take care of Ryeowook. Does he really
want to? "I've decided to spend more time there to look after him. Jaejoong hyung agreed when I asked him earlier. I can't do it if I
will go to school."

"But-" Sungmin shook his head. Why did Jaejoong accepted that kind of arrangement? Isn't he half concern of what will happen to Kyuhyun?
"Kyuhyun, you can always take care of him after going to school and-"

"I've already decided." Kyuhyun walked towards him and held his cheeks. "I want to do this." Sungmin looked up to him and shook his
head. He can't understand why Kyuhyun wants to do this. "Please help me."

Sungmin just nodded as he looked away. Kyuhyun smiled shortly. "Thanks." Sungmin sighed and walked away from Kyuhyun. He walked towards
the small fridge and opened it. There are some cans of beer so he took one.

"Have you eaten?" Sungmin asked. Kyuhyun nodded shortly. He's back at the corner, looking outside once again. Sungmin looked down and
just sighed. He needs to note that he will get the withdrawal form tomorrow. He drank the can of beer and finished it before crashing
the can. "I won't stay here tomorrow." he said.

Kyuhyun turned to him. He'll be sleeping alone tomorrow? "I have some exams and I want to review."

"Why don't you just bring your books here?" Sungmin shook his head.

"I'll be staying in Hyukjae's place tomorrow. He got some good books and he can teach me some of the things I'm having a hard time
with." Kyuhyun nodded. So he'll be staying with Hyukjae. He doesn't know Sungmin is already this close to Hyukjae that he can sleep
over to his place that comfortably. Will they be sleeping side by side like he and Sungmin do? Will Sungmin put him in his embrace
as he sleeps too? Those thoughts ran in his head. He doesn't like the bad thought. He knows Hyukjae is a good guy... but if it means
having Sungmin taken away from him...he doesn't like the thought of it.

He didn't speak anymore, he just nodded.

*Author's note: Short...not so short update tonight.
I'm quite rushing to finish a lot of work stuffs but I can't
get to think creatively for that because I have a lot of
thoughts in this fanfic. I've been telling you guys that my
favourite character is Hyukjae...to be honest, for no reason at
all. I'm glad I chose him as my other guy instead of Siwon >.<

Anyways, MAB is lacking of 3 subscribers before it reaches
400 woah!! you guys are great. I didn't know it's going to earn a lot
of support from everyone. I love you all for loving it. Hope you'll
spread more love here too.
