---------------POV 5 YEARS AGO--------------

"Kyung~" Sungmin called while Kyuhyun is studying inside his room. A simple uhm responded to his call. Sungmin sighed deeply and bit
his lower lip. He scratched his head for a short while and watched his friend move his head from his book and then writing notes in
his notebook. Kyuhyun stopped writing when he didn't hear anything after his name was called. He looked up and noticed that Sungmin
looked troubled.

"What's wrong."

Sungmin sighed. He bit his lower lip shortly before breathing in.  "Do you know Youngwoon hyung?"

Youngwoon? Youngwoon? Ah! "The third year drummer in the band club?" Sungmin nodded his head. "What about him?"

"He-" he looked down and checked on his fingers.

"He what?"

"He... asked me out." Sungmin looked down, his voice almost whispered what he said.

Kyuhyun chuckled. Kim Youngwoon, the almost a rockstar drummer in the third year class asked his best friend out? His childish, immature
best friend who has a thing for caramel sundae with marshmallows? Kyuhyun laughed at Sungmin. A pwahahaha kind of laugh that made
him almost fall out of his chair. Youngwoon, that big man is actually asking his cuddly friend, who has nothing to rant about other than
how much he loves Jung Yunho, out. Oh this is hilarious!

"Why are you laughing?!" Sungmin asked. Kyuhyun is unbelieveable. What is so laughable about Youngwoon asking him out?!

"Sorry... I just...bwahahaha!" Kyuhyun bursted as he held on to his tummy and continuously laugh. "Ming, did you hear yourself just now? You're
telling me someone is asking you out. I never thought somebody would actually ask you out! And for the record, Youngwoon...pwahahahahaha!"

"What does that mean?!"

"Well, you're good looking, that's given...but you're damn childish and fluffy and-"

Sungmin rolled his eyes and turned his back on Kyuhyun. He walked towards the balcony of the room and ignored the man and secretly
wished Kyuhyun would choke on his own laughter and just die. "Yah!" Kyuhyun called as he tried to calm from his own laughter.

"You know what, just ignore me. Forget that I tell you about this." Sungmin said as he rolled his eyes. The least he expect to get from Kyuhyun
is that pwahahaha laughter. Is he not marketable that Kyung has to laugh at him this much?!

"Ok, I'm sorry..." Kyuhyun said trying to lessen his laughs. He stood up and followed his friend. "What do you want to hear from me?"

Sungmin sighed. "I don't know what to do. You know I haven't really been invited out by anyone. It'll be the first time."

Kyuhyun nodded. "Do you like him?"

Does he like Kim Youngwoon? He's not quite sure. His world has revolved around him and Kyuhyun together and anyone who isn't Kyuhyun
is not likeable. But Hyukjae and Ryeowook are likeable. But they are not interested in him the way Youngwoon is... at least that's
what he thinks. Youngwoon doesn't aim for bestfriend. He aims for lover.

"I don't know."

Kyuhyun, from behind, wrapped his arms around Sungmin. "My Ming is slowly going for maturity stage." he turned to the side and met his best friend's
eyes. "Listen, why don't you try going out with him. It wouldn't be that bad. He seemed stern but he's cool and seemed to be a
nice person." he chuckled. "He might help you get over with Jung Yunho."

Sungmin glared at him. Whoever can replace Jung Yunho? Unless it is Xiah Junsu... it wouldn't be that bad. Kyuhyun smiled widely. "I'm just kidding.
But seriously,  Ming, you should try going out with him. If he ever hurts you, I swear he'll answer to me."

Sungmin smiled and nodded.  His confidence regained upon hearing Kyuhyun's last words. "Thanks, Kyung. You're the best."

Kyuhyun chuckled and pressed both hands on Sungmin's cheek. He pressed it hard until Sungmin's face looked rather ugly but he smiled.
"I wonder what Youngwoon hyung sees in you. You look quite normal to me. Not so extraordinary." he said as he turned the 'deformed' face
side to side. Although, Sungmin's eyes sparkles like no one, his nose is as small and yet pointy like no one, and his pouty lips cannot be compared
with anyone. He smiled widely. He planted a kiss on Sungmin's forehead and hugged him tightly.

"I'm still your best friend so you better not fall too deeply for him. I won't let you replace me."

Sungmin hugged back and nodded his head. Its so good to feel Kyuhyun's chest against his. He looked up and smiled widely at Kyuhyun.
"Thanks, Kyung."

Kyuhyun really knows him well. He knows the words to use for the other to believe. One word of encouragement and Sungmin would be willing
to even step on the moon.

"Your gentle smile, your y eyes...what else?" Sungmin asked. They are around the small table brainstorming and writing a song. He
has the melody, he only needs some words. They should all share duties in songwriting to enhance their skills. Plus it's always good
to hear other's thoughts about a certain topic. Kyuhyun and Ryeowook thought for a while. The latter eyed on the man beside him. Why else
does he like Kyuhyun?

Hyukjae looked down and nodded his head. "Your gentle smile, your y eyes, your weird words that are sometimes unpredictable~ like
the weather" he knows he cannot sing well but he tried to sing at least to the beat of the song. Right, Sungmin is weird being too
in love with sweets and fluffy dogs. He's weird because he likes Jung Yunho. He's weird because he cannot separate himself from Kyuhyun.

The others turned to him. Sungmin smiled widely before turning to the music sheet.

"That's good Hyukkie!" Sungmin eyed on him and smile.

Sungmin shook his head side to side and sing the lines in his mind. What are the other reasons why people like people? He needs to
think of a certain person and tells the reason why he likes that person. Who does he like anyway?

"Long hair, slim legs and nice neck. What can you do with that?" Kyuhyun asked. He doesn't know what's with long hair but oh well,
Sungmin is too lazy to cut his hair now and he's the one that Kyuhyun is thinking about. The task is just to think of the person you like
and describe why you like that person. Of course, who else would he like? Sungmin has already become a part of him that he cannot
even imagine a life without him. Tsch. Of course he likes Sungmin. It's like his having a twin from another mother. Those adjectives that
he shared just now is...how should he call it?
The physical aspects? Because if he says everything...he's quite sure he they won't be able to make something out of it.

Long hair, slim legs, nice neck. "Kyuhyun, is that what you want for a special person?" Ryeowook asked hoping it's not too obvious.
Sungmin, the love cupid, chuckled. Ryeowook doesn't even pass to the slim legs; his legs are not slim, their thin. It is different.
His hair is short with long fringe and his neck is... thin and long. Well maybe he can pass Kyuhyun's standards afterall.

"Of course not, that's just his ideal. He doesn't really have any particular like." Sungmin said. Ryeowook nodded at him.

Sungmin thought for a while. What does he like about Kyuhyun? He chuckled. Kyuhyun is grumpy in the morning and hates hot bitter drinks,
he puts all his veggies at the side of his plate. What else? He smiled. Adorable Kyung is cute when watching horror movies, he's
squeals like a girl when he sees a frog... oh and he panics when he sees creepy crawly insects around. His face whenever he sees those
are always epic. Even their petty arguments are enjoyable to look back at because it's his sarcasm that makes small issues big. He turned
to the paper and write.

"What do you think?" Sungmin asked. Kyuhyun was singing it in his mind and thought for a while.

Sungmin's irritating tantrums, his high pitched voice. Kyung~! He mentally rolled his eyes. Who likes that name anyway? His gummy
smile that is adorable and not as scary as Hyukjae's, his feminine laughter, Sungmin's pout. Sungmin's talented hands. Sungmin's
loud presence, Sungmin's warm embrace...

Nah eh geudehga nuhya~ yeah~ [That person is you~ yeah~]

Sungmin clapped his hands and stood up and walked away. Huh? That's it? Brainstorming over? They all shook their heads and watched
the other guy as he stood up in front of the piano keyboards. He sang the part that they've written and smiled at the rest of his
friends.

"Good job today!" Sungmin said. A soft knock on the door disturbed then. They all watched the door as it opens and out came a handsome
guy with a built body. "Oh... Youngwoon hyung!" Sungmin said immediately standing up from the keyboard. Youngwoon waved his hand
shortly at the other guys.

"Do you mind if I borrow Min for a while?" he asked courteously.

Min? Kyuhyun mentally burst in laughter. Min? Bwahahaha, it doesn't sound good to his ears. Min sounds mature and y but look at
Sungmin still acting young and cute.

Sungmin blushed when Youngwoon called him that name. He looked down and immediately walked towards the door. "I-I'll see you guys
later."

Hyukjae looked seriously at the door. He didn't know Sungmin is already dating someone. He should have asked Kyuhyun about it. He's
too busy competing in the best friend's place, he should have known Sungmin would date someone other than Kyuhyun. He always thought
these two are just oblivious about their feelings for each other but because of Youngwoon coming inside the picture, he knows better
who to compete with.

"I didn't know Sungmin is seeing someone already." he said. He cannot keep quiet. He cannot say nothing because as a loser that he is,
the only thing he was able to do just now is to watch Youngwoon take Sungmin. He needs to at least clarify why Youngwoon had to take
Sungmin away.

"Oh... Ming told me Youngwoon hyung asked him out for a date. It seems like he agreed to it." Kyuhyun said casually.

"And you don't really care?" Hyukjae asked.

"Of course I care. Sungmin deserves to have his own life. He needs to get out of our bubble." Kyuhyun sighed. Sungmin dating is something he
should be happy about. He did wish to date too but his friend was lucky to be able to experience it first. What is Youngwoon and Sungmin going to do for their
first date? He wondered. Maybe he should spy on them and tease his best friend after. A naughty thought made him chuckle on his own.
He looked around and saw nobody inside anymore. Where did Hyukjae and Ryeowook go? He shrugged his shoulder shortly and took his bag
and off his goes.

He was walking quietly towards the school gate. Sungmin is already dating. So this is how it feels now that his best friend is
dating. He doesn't know how to describe it. It's... it's lifeless without his noisy buddy around. Nobody to call him and annoy him with
that irritating petname. So this is how it feels like.

"Kyuhyun..." He looked up and saw Ryeowook standing in front of him.

"Are you going home?"

Kyuhyun nodded. On second thought, isn't it too early to go home? He would usually wait for Sungmin to finish his class and walk
home together. But Sungmin is in a date right now. He eyed on Ryeowook. If it's Hyukjae, he wouldn't doubt they would go out for a short snack or
something but this is Ryeowook. He contemplated on this before he has decided.

"Do you want to hang out somewhere?" He asked.

"Eh?" Kyuhyun asking him out is not something Ryeowook was prepared for. Although he came to the guy today to ask him out. He smiled
excitedly and nodded his head.

Kyuhyun opened the gate to his house. It is dark again. His father is not home again. He sighed. What could he do in a big house without
anyone at all? He swears he'll buy a place on his own once he starts earning money. He searched for the keys of the door but stopped
immediately when he felt like there is something creepy. He turned to his side and got the shock of his life when he saw Sungmin
crouching into a small ball at the side of the door, in the darkest place.

"Ming!" he said holding on to his chest. "What the hell? You give me a shock!"

Sungmin stood up and pouted. "Where have you been? What took you so long?" he asked. He knows Kyuhyun would walk together with him
but since he's out with Youngwoon, he expected Kyuhyun to be home early.

Oh no, it's not like he's living with Kyuhyun, it's just that, Kyuhyun would always like walking Sungmin home before going to his own
home. He knows the access to the Cho's gate but he doesn't have the key to this house. It's not like he lives here anyway.

"I- I went out with Ryeowook and..."

Sungmin straightened up. Kyuhyun went out with Ryeowook? So Ryeowook is making his move already! That's... great. Yeah... that's great.
"You went out with Ryeowook?"

Kyuhyun nodded stupidly. It's not like he's guilty going out with Ryeowook without Sungmin knowing or... but...

"That's great. He's a good guy. You should start going out with him more." Sungmin said.

The conversation ended there. Why weren't they able to continue their chat about Ryeowook? Sungmin knows his little friend likes Kyuhyun
and his best friend is single anyway... why not? err...yeah...why not? It's not like Kyuhyun should always report to him about what
he's doing or...anything.

Kyuhyun went in and the light. Sungmin casually went in and put his bag down.

"So... how's the date?" Kyuhyun asked. He's not interested. He really isn't. But he needs to know how Sungmin is doing. Is Youngwoon
good to him? Is he treating his best friend well? He needs to know.

"It's..." Sungmin looked down and bit his lips. He blew air and prepared himself to say it. "I think..." he blew air in his cheek and
looked down.

"What's wrong, Ming?"

"I think I like him."

Kyuhyun straightened up. Sungmin likes Youngwoon. No, he's not disappointed. His best friend is starting to like someone and this
someone is not him anymore. No, he's not disappointed. He cleared his throat. Wow... he feels like his best friend is serious about
this and...

"So what's wrong with liking him?"

Sungmin sighed. "Nothing. But..." he blew air again. He grabbed Kyuhyun's arm and agitatedly say. "Kyung, I need you to kiss me."

"What?!"

Kyuhyun's eyes almost popped out when he heard what Sungmin said. He immediately swag his friend's arm on him and almost walk away.
What on earth did he just hear from his bestfriend. "A-are you crazy? Why would I even kiss you?!" he breathe out, his eyes big and mouth in an O
and he just felt like his face burned. He started walking around the living room.

"Kyung, you're the only one who can help me." Sungmin said and followed Kyuhyun as he walked around. He knows his best friend is trying
to walk away from him but Kyuhyun can't escape him.

"I don't think so. You haven't had your first kiss, Ming." Kyuhyun said seriously as he turned to his bestfriend and pointed on him before walking
away again.

"I know." Sungmin said and stopped walking. He looked down. "I'm saving it for Jung Yunho."

Kyuhyun rolled his eyes. His fan boy best friend is concern about kissing yet he is saving his first kiss for Jung Yunho. "You think
I don't know that?" Kyuhyun went closer to the sliding door that can lead them to the garden. He needs fresh air. Sungmin's request is just too...
suffocating that he needs big space.

Sungmin sighed when Kyuhyun started walking again. "Can you stop walking and talk to me."

"Fine." Kyuhyun stopped and face him. "What do you want?"

"I need you to kiss me."

"You said you're saving your first kiss to Jung Yunho."

"I know... I know that but things are different now, Kyung. You need to help me." Sungmin's both hands are up trying to calm the
situation. "Youngwoon and I almost kissed earlier."

Kyuhyun straightened up and listened well. He should have known Youngwoon takes advances that fast. It's just the first date and he
almost shared a kiss with Sungmin? "You know I want to save my first kiss with Yunho, right?" he nodded. "Now that I'm dating
him, I kind of realise that I cannot get my first kiss from Yunho anymore."

Finally, he has understand the difference of a commoner and a famous star! He thinks he should pat Youngwoon's back for making Sungmin
realise this. Afterall this time, he has been convincing his bestfriend to stop dreaming of having Yunho for his first kiss otherwise
he'll die a but now that he is dating he has finally realise this. This is good.

"Wait." he said, stopping Sungmin from his next word. "What has it got to do with me?"

Sungmin bit his lips and met Kyuhyun's eyes. "I just thought if I can't have my first kiss with Yunho, at least I'll give it to someone
close to me." His bestfriend has no reaction. "You're my bestfriend, Kyung. You have to understand. I'd rather give it to you than
someone I'm not that familiar with."

Ming and all his issues. What difference will it make if Youngwoon is his first kiss?! That's a good question. What difference will it
make if he is Sungmin's first kiss? He, too, would want to know. He sighed deeply and shook his head.

"Please, Kyung...you're the only one who can help me. I wouldn't even want to ask Hyukjae or Ryeowook about this." He actually thought
of bugging Hyukjae if ever Kyuhyun refuse...but not Ryeowook... it'll be a little too awkward if he share a kiss with the little man. "Kyung, you're
the closest person in my life, if I can't give my first kiss to my idol then nobody deserves it more than you do. And-"

"Alright." Kyuhyun said. He had kissed someone before... when he got drunk after high school party. He also had another when he almost
dated a girl. Kissing Sungmin is just a lip touch lip thing... no big deal. Just let his best friend have all his issues solved and
that's it.

"Close your eyes." Kyuhyun said casually. Sungmin did as he was told and puckered his lips. "Ming..." he said. "That's not how you
should do it." Sungmin opened his eyes and pouted. He at this. Kyuhyun chuckled. "Close your eyes and just relax, ok?"

Nope... it's not ok. Sungmin is clearly relaxed, it is him who isn't. . Kissing his bestfriend has never come to his mind even
in his dirtiest dream. He watches Sungmin as he closed his eyes. He breathe out to calm himself. He held his best friend's arm and
placed it on his chest. He held the side of Sungmin's neck with both his hands. This is it, Cho Kyuhyun. He leaned closer, his thumb
slightly pulling the lower lip down.

Sungmin felt short electric grounds on his lips. Kyuhyun's lips is being pressed on his. It feels good. He didn't know his bestfriend's
lips are soft and has electric shocks in it. It felt innocent and sweet and colourful like fireworks during festives. He didn't know
kissing feels this good. He should have known better. His hand still on Kyuhyun's chest. What's going on with Kyung? His heart beat
suddenly accelerates against his palms.

Kyuhyun's eyes are closed the moment he pressed his lips on Sungmin's but he when he felt a tingling feeling all over his body, he opened his eyes
slowly and watched his bestfriend's reaction to this. Is it only him who feels some kind of sharp voltage? It felt like he had some goosebumps and
some other things he cannot explain. No... it can't be. Why does Ming looks especially beautiful with his oblivion to their activity? He swears he has
never seen his bestfriend looking extra delicate before. It just can't be. He felt his heart is coming out of his chest. Nothing is
wrong with him. He slowly pushed Sungmin away and swallowed.

His heart beat raced because he hadn't really had a proper kiss before. No, that's just it. No big deal. Sungmin smiled before him.

"I didn't know kisses are this sweet. Thanks, Kyung. You're the best." he hugged Kyuhyun tightly and the latter just chuckled.  Since Kyuhyun didn't
show any much reaction about it, he'll ignore the current that run through his body and the electric grounds that lingers around his lips. Kyuhyun
knows this more than he does so this is probably just normal. Everything is fine.

Nothing is wrong. Kyuhyun turned to Sungmin who suddenly appeared brightly before him. Why is Sungmin shining like that? Is it only him who 
felt something? What's wrong with him?

Nothing. He's freaking sure that he's fine. Damn fine.
