--------------POV 5 YEARS AGO------------------

Sungmin and Youngwoon are walking together hand in hand outside the school one afternoon. It was cool. Youngwoon and him are simple
college students dating each other, keeping each other company. Sungmin turned to the other guy with a smile. "Youngwoon hyung, shall
we get some ice cream?" he asked.

Nobody can actually say no to Sungmin whenever he is asking that question. Of course, he has gotten his ways because of his big, innocent
eyes and his bright smile. Nobody can say no to him when it comes to ice cream. Even Youngwoon who doesn't really enjoys cold and
sweet stuffs can't say no to his charms.

"You won't get anything?" Sungmin asked as he sat down with his caramel sundae with marshmallows and whip cream this time. Youngwoon
cannot believe at the amount of sweets served only for his date. Sungmin sticked his tongue out when he saw the other's reaction. "They
said whip creams are free so..."

"I didn't know you can eat that much sweet."

"You have no idea." Sungmin said as he dug the sundae making sure he won't touch a big amount of caramel. Sweetest are always at the
last. He placed the sundae in his mouth and closed his eyes as he melt the coldness of it in his mouth. A giggle due to sweetness.
Youngwoon chuckled as he watches the other being cute and fluff. Sungmin swallowed his sundae afterwards. "Don't worry, you weren't
the first one who was amazed by this." he said matter of factly. "Hyukkie was the first one who tried to tolerate me but he gave up
after like... 5 minutes?" he said while thinking. "Kyung hates sweets and he can't even stand me eating my sundae. He's so annoying.
He'll always complain about having diabetes or getting fat. He's crazy. I don't even understand why I'm friends with him. I mean...
what's wrong with sweets anyway?"

"How close are you to Kyuhyun?" Youngwoon asked, interest in his voice is obvious. But of course, he wants to know more aboout Sungmin.
And even if it means hearing another person's name in his mouth, he wouldn't mind at all.

"I met him when he did a volunteer work with his mom when I was 8. I was from the orphanage and thought he was a new kid with no parent
there. Stupid boy actually pretended the whole day that he was an orphan and became friends with me." he dug his sundae again, his
tongue his own lips making sure he's not messy at all. He smiled at the memory. "He often visit me there and played with me.
By the time the people there told me I need to be on my own, Kyung helped me find a place to stay. I applied for government scholarship
and followed him whichever school he goes to. He's the bestest friend in the world, he didn't leave me when I was lost after my life
in the orphanage. He's the only family I have."

Youngwoon nodded his head. He looked up when he heard a chuckle. "Kyung's parents actually had plans of sending him to overseas school
but he purposely failed his exams there so they sent him back here. He's crazy but..." he looked down. "I can't think of how I will
be without him." Sungmin eyed on his date and smiled. "He's the most important person in my life."

"You talk so sweetly about him. Aren't you afraid that I might get jealous?"

Sungmin straightened up. Youngwoon jealous of Kyuhyun? "But... hyung, Kyung is really dear to me. He's my best friend."

Youngwoon smiled widely. "I was just kidding. Although..." his date waited for his next line. "I do wish I can be the most important
person in your life."

"You are important to me, hyung."

"So... more important that Kyuhyun?" Youngwoon asked. Sungmin looked down and eyed on the sundae. There was only the caramel left
but he lose his appetite when he heard the question. Youngwoon being his number one? Where will Kyuhyun stand then? Can't Youngwoon
just be number 2? Because Kyuhyun is always number 1. Nobody...not even Youngwoon can replace that. He's the most important person
in Sungmin's life.

He just smiled and didn't answer.

Sungmin dating and has actually didn't bother seeing him today is seriously something new. Kyuhyun lied down on his bed with his arms
on his forehead. He still haven't gotten over with the thought that he shared a kiss with his bestfriend and that his heart beats
differently because of that. He shook his head. Nope... no, he's not thinking of liking Sungmin that way. They are best friends. And
his best friend is happily dating now.

Hyukjae was all sweat as he lied down on the basketball court nearby. Sungmin dating someone is not really a good thing for him to see.
He is catching his breath while his eyes are closed. He would understand if Sungmin falls in love with Kyuhyun...they are afterall
inseperable. He wouldn't mind having a formidable opponent because they still belong to the same circle of friends. If he gets rejected,
he would still be in the same place. But Kyuhyun doesn't seem to have a special thing with Sungmin. Or maybe it's just him? Because
everything about Kyung and Ming has been special to begin with. They might have not known the spark that has been existing because
they've been together long enough to be bothered about it.

No. He just can't accept the fact that somebody asked Sungmin out and he just accepted it that way. He doesn't hate Youngwoon for doing
that. He hates himself for not being able to do the same thing. He wish he is slightly courageous to ask Sungmin out for a date or
at least be confident enough to treat him the way Kyuhyun does.

Why is he so stupid?

Ryeowook pressed both his palms together and sighed in between his fingers. His eyes closed and is breathing out slowly. He opened his
eyes slowly and held his breath for a while. He eyed on the piano keyboard in front of him and he positioned his fingers on the piano
keyboard, raised one of his hand and started playing.

Reflection by Song Kwang Sik. His fingers expertly press the keys and his eyes closed to concentrate. His mouth agaped for a while
as he let his whole self sink in the music he is playing. He sees himself when he first saw Kyuhyun, how immediately he was mesmerized
by the man's voice and how his eyes showed no reaction for him when they first met. He saw Kyuhyun smiling widely as Sungmin plays
around him. He saw how Kyuhyun is actually quiet with his best friend not around. He looks serene and always in a deep thought whenever
he's alone. He saw Kyuhyun sipping on his soda when he first ask Ryeowook out. That was during Sungmin's first date with Youngwoon.
He also see Kyuhyun and him smiling while queueing up to get Yunho's autograph. They haven't really shared a lot of memories but...

He likes Kyuhyun. He really does. What could he give to have this man by his side? How could he say his feelings towards Kyuhyun?
What can he do to make Kyuhyun see him as he is? He crossed his eyebrows shortly. He isn't jealous of Sungmin but... it's always
his name that comes out from Kyuhyun's lips. When will it be his turn? He doesn't want to be his best friend... he wants to be the person
for Kyuhyun. Then again, he can't really say it out loud. Even if Sungmin has been helping him take advances on Kyuhyun, this man is
too dense to even understand why Sungmin always pulls Hyukjae away on free times...or even agreed to date someone.

He opened his eyes and looked down on the keys of the instrument. He wish he's as free as his fingers playing this instrument in saying
what he really feels. But he's scared that he might be rejected... and worst Kyuhyun might not want to be his friend anymore.

The song has ended. His fingers rested on the keys and his eyes still in deep gaze in front of the instrument. A soft round of applause
startled him. He turned to the door of The Rookies' practice room and there he saw Kyuhyun handsomely smiling at him while clapping
his hands. Jeez, can't he stop being dazzling for a while?

"Wow! I didn't know you can play this song."

Ryeowook smiled and looked down. He doesn't really know how to take compliments from Kyuhyun. This person seldom gives good remarks if
it wasn't Sungmin. He bit his lower lip and chuckled. "How long have you been standing there?" he asked.

"Not so long ago. You seemed so consumed by Master Song Kwang Sik so I didn't disturb you."

Ryeowook smiled again and nodded. Kyuhyun walked towards him. "I like his song A Child's Mind, can you play it?" he asked.

The other nodded and closed his palms to fist shortly before playing it. It is his chance to show off his piano talent to Kyuhyun. It's
always Sungmin who gets the praise, of course only when he's not around. He played the piece at ease as he watches Kyuhyun smiling
while closing his eyes.

Kyuhyun saw himself and Sungmin running around the orphanage and getting all muddy and dirty when they both slipped in a puddle of
mud. He doesn't know how to save himself so Sungmin said he accidentally pushed Kyuhyun earning him some cane beating from the people
there. He also saw Sungmin teaching him how to roast sweet potato under the bon fire during Christmas celebration. His fingers almost
burnt but the latter knows how to deal with it and fed him with the most delicious roasted sweet potato he ever tried.

Kyuhyun's smile became wider when he remembered seeing Sungmin in the shower when he was 12. It was a silly thought to surprise his
best friend in the shower. He could just die laughing when Sungmin jumped inside the drum of water just to hide himself. Sungmin tried
teaching him guitar but he failed to learn because it's painful in the fingers. He also recalled himself teaching Sungmin how to ride
bicycles and ended up being chased by dogs. It was all good memories. He and Sungmin. He hasn't been seeing his bestfriend around.
How is he? He misses Ming.

The song has ended as he opened his eyes and looked at Ryeowook who was busy watching him. He freed a wide bright smile to the man
in front of him. "Thanks, Ryeong. That's really good."

Ryeong? Kyuhyun chuckled. "Sorry... it seems like I've gotten Sungmin's hobby of giving nicknames." he said and shook his head as if
he is helpless because he's gotten Sungmin's disease. It was an excuse because he and Sungmin has always been calling Ryeowook like
that behind his back...and now he accidentally spilled the little secret.

Ryeowook looked down... "I don't mind you calling me that." he blushed. Kyuhyun giving him nickname as adorable as Sungmin's is
something he can call next level to their friendship. Maybe he can give a little hint to the other about his feelings?

"Really?" Kyuhyun asked. Sungmin has been arguing with him about telling Ryeowook that nickname but Kyuhyun, being awkward to him
doesn't want to agree. Ryeowook nodded to his question.

"But... you're the only one who can call me that."

Kyuhyun chuckled when he heard what Ryeowook said. He shook his head and smiled widely. That song really refreshed his memories about
his childhood with Sungmin. He really misses Sungmin now. Maybe he should go and see him later.

"Hyukkie ah!" Sungmin called as he jumped on Hyukjae's back. His smile is bright and his face closed to Hyukjae. "How are things going?"

"You haven't been in the rehearsals and now you're asking me." Hyukjae said quite bitterly.

"Hey, I didn't even showed myself to Kyung because I know he'll be scolding me. Hyukkie ah... don't be mad at me." Sungmin said. Pouting
and holding on to Hyukjae's arm trying to act cutely.

Sungmin knows Hyukjae is kind hearted. One aegyo and he'll give in. He won't get mad anymore. "Hyukkie ah~" he tried his best to
act cutely, rubbing his cheek on the other's arm. Hyukjae watched him doing all these stuffs and just chuckled. How could he ever get
mad at this person? He's the most adorable creature he has ever encountered.

"Alright, alright..." Sungmin smiled while sticking out his tongue. This is one reason why Hyukjae has the potential to be his first
best friend. He gives in easily...unlike stupid Kyung, if it's him, they'll probably be stuck in a long argument before settling the
issue.

"Hyukkie ah... let's help Ryeong with his confession."

"I thought only Kyuhyun is allowed to call him that." at least that's what he heard from Ryeowook.

"Oh please, Kyung and I have been calling him that behind his back."

"Why are you talking about him behind his back?"

"Of course, I have to tell him a lot about Ryeong, he can't like a person without knowing his good qualities."

Hyukjae nodded and started walking with Sungmin. "So what's the plan?"

"I'll tell Kyuhyun I have something important to tell him and then let Ryeong do the rest. You'll just have to be quiet about this.
Pretend you don't know anything. We'll arrange the place for them and that's it."

Hyukjae nodded his head and looked at Sungmin. When is his turn to confess? When can he tell Sungmin that he doesn't see him as an
ordinary friend? Sungmin smiled widely at him as they continuously walk together.

"How's you and Youngwoon?" Hyukjae asked. It's not like he is interested, but he wants to know how they are doing, he wants to know
if he can get his chance soon.

Sungmin shrugged his shoulders. "Guess we're fine."

Fine. Yeah, because Youngwoon just let him do whatever he wants and doesn't really complain. Whenever they are out, he'll be the one
to choose the place, he'll be the one to choose the food, the movie to watch, everything. He looked down. If he's out with Kyuhyun,
there are a lot of arguments on who to decide what and when will the hang out will be. He's not comparing the two because Kyuhyun
is his best friend whilst Youngwoon is his boyfriend...but sometimes it feels better to be with Kyuhyun. It's always exciting to be
with him. Or maybe he just haven't been hanging out with Kyung that's why he misses his best friend.

Sungmin was quiet while walking. Thinking about how different these people are, even the kiss tastes different. Kyuhyun has those
incredibly tingling electric grounds while Youngwoon... Youngwoon's is sweet and gentle too but there's no electric charges whatsoever.
It's plain and that's just it.

He sighed deeply. Maybe he's missing Kyuhyun too much.
