-----------------POV this MORNING------------------

Sungmin immediately turned off the alarm clock so as not to disturb Kyuhyun's sleep. He sat up as gently as possible almost wanting
to carry himself just so he won't make any noise. But this is Kyuhyun. He knows very well when Sungmin changes his position while
sleeping. He knows very well when the other cannot sleep. He knows very well when Sungmin is already awake. He knows very well.

Because Kyuhyun cannot sleep without Sungmin beside him.

It has always been like that. It has always been like that since 3 years ago.

"Right. That was just a stupid thought. Go back to sleep. You still have one hour. I'll see you next time." Sungmin said before he left
this morning. His voice is not as happy as when he opened the idea of moving in Kyuhyun's place.

He tightened his hold on the pillow and closed his eyes when Sungmin went out but when he heard the door closed, he opened his eyes.
He looked up on the low ceiling of his apartment. Sungmin wants to live with him. That was just a stupid thought. Right... it is. But
it will mean he'll have a goodnight sleep...and Sungmin will live with him. He looked down slowly, his face is still blank. Sungmin
wants to live with him. He wants to be with Kyuhyun permanently under the same ceiling, in the same bed.
He sighed and sat up. He turned to the side where Sungmin lied down last night. He noticed on a small hole
in the old bedsheet. Did Sungmin dig his fingers here too much? He checked on it slowly and let his palm rest on the whole area. Sungmin
was just here last night. His body warmed this side of the bed and his release stained it too. He can still smell the scent of what
they did last night. Sungmin was just here. He looked up and saw the clock. 7.15am.

He straightened up and turned his head to the table. It has a sandwich and an empty glass. He stood up and took the milk in the small
fridge and pour some in the glass. Egg white and cheese. Sungmin knows very well he doesn't like egg yolks. He checked on the clock
again. 7.25am. Time runs slowly today. He finished up his food and went in the bathroom. He can slow down. He still have a lot of time.

Kyuhyun took his jacket and hung it on his arms as he went out of the house. He walked towards the opposite side and saw Sungmin just
boarding his bus to work. Time check: 8.47am. He sighed. Sungmin woke up early and still ended up being late for work. He shook his
head. Sungmin must be in dazed again. He knows the other has the hobby of daydreaming. What is Sungmin day dreaming of? Is he
thinking of how it will be if they live together? Is he thinking when they'll be seeing each other again? He looked down... Is
Sungmin thinking of that incident again? That incident that happened 3 years ago?

Kyuhyun chuckled on his own and he sat on the now empty bus stop. He's on the way to that place again. He sighed deeply. The bus has
come shortly so he boarded in and sat down comfortably at the back most part of the bus. He looked at the window, his mind blank,
unlike Sungmin; he doesn't like day dreaming, he doesn't like being in dazed... he doesn't like memories of the recent past...

------------------------POV 5 Years ago-------------

The Rookies, as they call themselves are doing well in the club. With Kyuhyun on vocals, Ryeowook on piano and vocals, Sungmin on
guitar and words and Hyukjae on drums. It was fun and exciting and the two new member in Kyung and Ming's bubble enjoys this a lot.

"Kyung, can you try making an adlib on this part?" Sungmin asked as he showed the music sheet. He manipulates the piano every now and
then. He likes song writing and he can't hide the fact that he always have his best friend's voice sing the songs in his mind.

Ryeowook watched the two as they hit each other and smiled while looking at the music sheet. "Hyukjae..." he called. Hyukjae
walked closer to him and wondered why the little man called for him. "Why is Sungmin hyung calling Kyuhyun Kyung?" The latter chuckled
with his question.

"Oh~ he's been calling him like that since I met them... they kind of like that I think since they've become the best of friends."

Ryeowook nodded his head slowly. So they are the best of friends. He eyed on the smiling Kyuhyun. He's just so handsome and his voice
is breath taking. He looked down and remembered why he wanted to be in the band club. He wanted to be there because he heard Kyuhyun
singing in the men's room. He thought Kyuhyun is older than him and that he already belongs to the band club. He initially wanted
to back out when he find out that Kyuhyun isn't part of it but maybe it is fate that made him see Kyuhyun and his friends auditioning
as a rookie. And of course, his older brother Kim Jaejoong, the head of club, did a good job in placing him in the rookie's band.

So they're the best of friends. So Sungmin has nothing to do with Kyuhyun other than being his best friend. Maybe he can tell Sungmin
about his little secret. Maybe Sungmin can help him be closer to Kyuhyun... he won't replace Sungmin as the other's best friend...
he wants more than that.

"Y-You like Kyuhyun?!" Sungmin exclaimed when Ryeowook whispered to him about it. The other man could just chuckle. Which part of Kyuhyun
is likeable? He thought of his best friend. Kyuhyun may look cool but he digs his nose on free time, he hates wearing socks on covered
shoes, he doesn't like carrots and egg yolks, he hates Jung Yunho! "Sorry, Ryeowook ah... I didn't expect you to say this. I thought
you have something serious to say to me." he said as he shook his head. Woah, somebody is actually liking his best friend. It's just
too laughable.

"S-Sungmin hyung, can you just keep it as a secret?" Ryeowook said, his head low and his face is red. It's quite embarassing. Sungmin
wrapped his arm around the younger's shoulder and patted him.

"Don't worry, I'll see what I can do to help you with him."

Ryeowook bit his lips and smiled. "Really?!" Sungmin is going to help him go for Kyuhyun? The older nodded and smiled at him. This is it. Ryeowook
has found a new best friend. "Sungmin hyung, can I be your best friend too?" he asked excitedly. Being Sungmin's bestfriend must be the coolest
thing on earth. He write songs, he shred guitars, he has Kyuhyun for a best friend, he's going to help Ryeowook to be close to Kyuhyun!

Sungmin thought for a while. Kyuhyun is his best friend, Ryeowook wants to be his best friend too. He smiled widely. "Alright, you'll
be my second best friend."

"Why am I in the third place?"

From behind, Hyukjae came to them along with Kyuhyun. He's disappointed face complimented his complaining voice. Being in the third
means unimportant! The latter smiling widely when he heard his friend complaining about his position in Sungmin's list of friends.

"Who said you're in the third place?" Sungmin asked. He eyed on Kyuhyun shortly and then to Hyukjae. "You're the first, Kyung is the
last." he winked at Hyukjae and it just irritated Kyuhyun.

"What?!" Kyuhyun said. "Why am I the last?!"

"Please Kyung~ we've been together for like forever... so I want to have a new best friend."

Sungmin ran towards Hyukjae and almost jump on him. "Hyukjae ah, let's grab something to eat." he said excitedly. Kyuhyun and Ryeowook
was left behind wondering why Ming is just too hyper today.

Sungmin wants to grab something to eat and he invited Hyukjae instead of Kyuhyun? What has happen to the world? Hyukjae looked at the
other as he digs his caramel sundae with marshmallow. He's just so adorable and beautiful and child-like and Hyukjae simply likes
everything that he sees. Sungmin bit on his spoon and looked at him.

"Hyukkie, are you ok?"

H-hyuk-what? He looked at Sungmin. What did he just hear? Sungmin chuckled and leaned forward. "Since you're on my best friend list,
I better call you Hyukkie now. Just like Kyung."

Hyukjae could just chuckle as he looked down. Maybe Sungmin is innocent about it but Hyukjae is seriously crushing on him. And him
being one of his best friend is now having the honour of having a nickname from Sungmin...Hyukkie?

"Sounds good to me." he said.

"Really?!" Sungmin bit his lower lip and dig on his sundae. "I think I like you more. Stupid Kyung hates his nickname a lot!" he place a spoonful
of the cold sweet in his mouth and pouted while melting it. "I mean..." he said with the sundae still inside his mouth. "What's not
to like in that name? It sounds cute." he continued melting his sweets inside his mouth and eyed on Hyukjae who is just quietly listening
to him.

Kyung doesn't sound cute if it comes from anybody's lips but because it is Sungmin, Kyung sounds heavenly. Hyukjae secretly
wish it is his name...not Kyuhyun's. But Hyukkie coming from Sungmin's lips isn't that bad either. He's liking his petname because
it is exclusively for Sungmin.

"Hyukkie ah..."

Hyukjae looked up and eyed Sungmin. The latter his lips first before curling his index gesturing Hyukjae to come closer. The
other leaned forward and turned to the side. Sungmin whispered.

"Let's play as love cupid today." Hyukjae turned to him and watched himself be mesmerized by the upclose face in front of him.

"Eh?" he hopes his blush is not that obvious because he focused too much on the distance of their faces and not on what Sungmin is
actually saying.

Sungmin rested his back and smiled. "Ryeowook told me he likes Kyung. Let's just stay together for a while and help our dear friend."

Hyukjae nodded for a while. He eyed on Sungmin who closed his eyes cutely as he enjoys the overloading caramel syrup spilling in his
spoon. He purposely saved the caramel syrup for last. Jeez, he loves this much sweet?!

"I didn't know you like sweets this much."

"Uhm..." Sungmin nodded. "I love sweets, I love caramel, I love marshmallow. It's funny how I can stand being friends with Kyung;
he never liked these stuffs. And he's always complaining whenever he sees me eating these. He's plain crazy."

"You're very close to him, huh?"

"But of course, he's the only one I've got. I don't think I can live without him."

Of course he can, Kyung is just Ming's best friend. But Ming seriously cannot imagine a life without Kyuhyun beside him. It's like
living a life without oxygen.

Kyuhyun and Ryeowook quietly walked together outside of the campus. They are bandmates and they work closely because of Sungmin but...
they are plain awkward. Ryeowook bit his lower lip. Kyuhyun and him walking side by side like this feels good to him. He turned to
the other man who sighed heavily.

"Silly Ming~" Kyuhyun ranted under his nose. Why did he even take Hyukjae with him and left his very own best friend behind?! He's not yet
close to Ryeowook and he's really not the type who warms up to anyone that fast, in Hyukjae's case, Hyukjae is non-stop talkies and
can relate to any conversation... he's comfortable to be with. Ryeowook? He's cute and charming like Ming and has a very
nice voice like Ming, he can play the piano well, just like Sungmin, he can also write songs... but he's not Ming so it's not
comfortable.

"I wonder where Sungmin hyung is~" Ryeowook said as he looked down. Kyuhyun turned to him and sighed once again. . This is boring.

Ryeowook turned to the side where there is a music store. Mass of girls and boys queueing up and making a big scene inside. What's
going on? His mouth agaped and his hands clasped together. "Omo~ Jung Yunho is having a fan signing here?!"
He turned to Kyuhyun who is confused about what is going on. "Kyuhyun, do you mind if I go in? I want Jung Yunho's autograph!"
Oh no, not Ryeowook too!

What's with Jung Yunho and his overwhelming popularity? Kyuhyun made a tsch sound as he watches Ryeowook going crazy queueing up and
trying to fit inside the small place. If Jung Yunho is popular, why is doing a fan signing in such a small place.

"He worked on this place before he debuted so the owner requested a small gathering. Oh my gosh, isn't he cool?!" Ryeowook exclaimed.

Kyuhyun watched Ryeowook as he raised his notebook and pen just to pass it to the idol star. Kyuhyun looked down and smiled. Ryeowook
is such a crazy fan... just like Ming. He straightened up. Ming. He looked around and thought for a while. He smiled and took his
wallet out. He suddenly smiled when he saw Jung Yunho's picture inside his wallet. Yup, his bestfriend is fan boy enough to try and
influence him. Nope, he doesn't like Jung Yunho. Sungmin is just playful enough to put a picture of the idol in Kyuhyun's wallet.

"What's the commotion here?" Sungmin asked Hyukjae as they saw the small music store having a gathering. His mouth agaped and his eyes
widened. "Crap! Jung Yunho is there today!" he ranted. "Where is my pen?" he asked as he dug his bag in search for a precious pen.

He was about to enter but he saw Kyuhyun and Ryeowook together going out. "Omo~ Kyung, Ryeowook ah... you're here too."

"Sungmin hyung, you're a fan too? I got my signature. Kyuhyun got his too." Ryeowook said excitedly.

"Aish~!" Sungmin looked at Kyuhyun sharply. He's not even Yunho's fan. "Why didn't you call me?! You know that I planned of coming here
today!"

"Who asked you to promote Hyukjae as your first best friend anyway?!" Kyuhyun retorted.

"He eats sweets! You don't. He thinks Hyukkie is cute for his nickname. You said Kyung sounds disgusting. That's why you fall on the
last! I don't want a best friend like you anymore!"

"Well, Kyung sounds really disgusting! I'm 20 years old, Ming. At least make my nickname sound y and mature."

"Hyukkie is 21 and he likes his nickname even if it's not y. I don't want you to be my first best friend!"

"Hyukkie sounds cute, Kyung doesn't!"

Hyukjae just chuckled under his nose. Kyuhyun arguing with Sungmin about his nickname is as immature as Sungmin giving all of them
cute nicknames. He stand behind Sungmin while Ryeowook behind Kyuhyun and the two best buddies are inside a smaller bubble again where
only the two of them exist. He looked inside the store. Maybe he can still get an autograph for Sungmin. He's not competitive but
he wants to make sure he'll really fall in the first place in Sungmin's list. However, as the arguement keeps on going, the people
inside are gradually dispersing.

"Jung Yunho is gone already." he said.

"I still don't understand what-" Sungmin paused and turned to the store. His mouth agaped as he saw the place already empty of people
and Jung Yunho is gone as well. His face turned sour as pouted. He kicked and stomp his feet once like a ranting child. He eyed on
Kyuhyun sharply.

"Kyung, it's your fault! Now, I can't get his autograph and it's all because of you. You're not on my top three list anymore!"
he rolled his eyes sharply and sighed desperately.

"Tsch. It's not like you haven't attended any fan signing." Kyuhyun looked at him irritatedly. "Stop the drama and grow up, Ming."

Sungmin looked at him sharply and looked down. He just missed Jung Yunho's autograph. He sighed and started walking again. Kyuhyun
rolled his eyes as if he is sarcastically helpless. He walked after Sungmin and pulled his wallet out.

"I just had my ice cream, Kyung. Don't even think of bribing me." Sungmin said lifelessly. Missing Yunho's autograph is like not
having marshmallows on a caramel sundae. It .

Kyuhyun chuckled and shook his head. His bestfriend is just so adorable when upset. But no matter how adorable he is when he is upset,
Kyuhyun wouldn't like it too much... especially if he is the reason. He pass his wallet to Sungmin and the other just looked at it.
He sighed and became impatient when his friend didn't do anything but to just lazily stare at the wallet. He searched inside and took
out the picture Sungmin slot in his wallet. He found Yunho's picture with the autograph in it.

"Yeah, yeah, you got yours." Sungmin said lazily. Why does Kyuhyun need to show off this much? He doesn't even like Jung Yunho...

Kyuhyun flipped the picture and showed Sungmin the back of the picture.

Sungmin ah, let's meet each other next time ^^

Sungmin tried his best not to smile but he still did. He smiled widely upon reading Yunho's note. Nope, Kyuhyun cannot lie on this,
his handwriting has spaces on every word while Yunho has none. "I queued up and pretended to be a crazy fan for once. Do you know
how embarassing it is? Jung Yunho seemed to be interested in me. I told him my bestfriend likes him more than I do. I won't steal
Jung Yunho to you. So can you stop being angry now?" Kyuhyun asked.

"Kyung~!" Sungmin said as he almost jumped on Kyuhyun to hug him. "You're the best, Kyung. You're my first best friend... no
you're my only best friend!" he said as he tightened his hug. Kyuhyun could just chuckle as Sungmin cling to him.

The worst part of Sungmin is being so loveable and the best part of Sungmin is being so loveable. He tends to get a lot of people's
attention and would often want to be friends with him because he's just so cuddly and adorable and Kyuhyun doesn't like it if his
position as this guy's best friend is rattled. But at the end of the day, after all the arguments between them, Sungmin will always want him to be his best friend.

Hyukjae and Ryeowook looked at each other and smiled. Kyung and Ming inside their bubble is adorable to watch. But both of them know
they would want the two for themselves.

People grow up and mature...and face changes... Kyung and Ming... are no different.

Kyuhyun alighted at the bus and walked towards the tall building in front of him. He sighed and fixed his collar, checked on his sneakers
and walked inside.
