I'm supposed to update this on Yoongs bday but I'm pretty busy, but late is better than never,  right?.. so

“come in” Yuri said

“press will start in 10” Mr. Jang said, one of Yuri’s secretary

“thanks” Yuri said as Mr. Jang went outside, then took her phone and calls someone

 

“good morning” Yuri greeted

“good morning” Jessica greeted back

“did I wake you up?” Yuri asked

“no… I actually can’t sleep” Jessica answered

“why?... is something bothering you?” Yuri asked worriedly

“Yul…. Are you gonna be okay?” Jessica asked

“Of course, I will” Yuri answered confidently

“what if they-----“

“I don’t care if they asked me all the impossible questions, I don’t care if they curse me, and I don’t really if someone just show up and throw something on my face” Yuri said “it’s still you and me, that doesn’t change”

 

 

As soon as Yuri set a foot on room, non-stop clicking, flashing of camera can be seen inside the room

 

“are you really the new President of SME?” one reporter asked

“yes…” Yuri answered

“then why didn’t you make it public?”

“because there is someone that I wanted to protect” Yuri answered

“is that someone Jessica Jung?”

 

Yuri nodded “yes”

 

“how long have you known each other?”

“we met 3 years ago, that time, I was a student running from home” Yuri answered

“is your parents the owner of Kwon Industry?”

“yes…” Yuri answered

“that time does Jessica know who you are, or who your parents are?”

On the other hand, Jessica was trying to calm herself, trying really hard to hold herself from not getting on her car and drive on the presscon

“Base on the video that’s running on net now, from their concert where you asked her to be your girlfriend, you said that you left her 3 years ago”

 

“does that mean, you left her before you two could enter in the relationship?”

 

“no… I broke up with her” Yuri answered

“was there anyone else?”

“fell out of love?”

“no, there is no one else, and definitely, I never stop loving her” Yuri said “it’s just that, it wasn’t the right time for us”

“and now you think this is the right time?”

“no… but when I left, I realized that we don’t need to wait for the right or perfect time” Yuri said “but we have to take this moment and make it perfect”

 

 

“good evening” Jessica greeted as soon as Yuri set a foot inside the living room

“why you’re still up?” Yuri asked as she kissed Jessica’s forehead “it’s already late”

Yuri broke into smile “thank you…”

 

“you still have another presscon tomorrow, right?” Jessica asked

 

Yuri nodded “why?”

 

“you should have spend your night at Seoul” Jessica said “you’ll get tired”

 

Yuri smiled “I don’t care if I have to drive 5 hours just to see you, I don’t care if I have to take a plane or anything just to be with you…”

 

Jessica smile

 

“and even if it means fighting the whole world just to see your smile, I’ll do it” Yuri said “I love you, Jessica… I love you”

 

 

Jessica woke up first which is rare, trying to reach the alarm, before it alarms and wake Yuri…

 

“what are you doing?” Yuri asked half-asleep

“uhmm, you awake?” Jessica asked

“a little…” Yuri asked “good morning…”

“good morning…” Jessica greeted back… “I wanted to off the alarm, but guess, no need”

 

Yuri chuckled “I can’t sleep… I’m so excited for the presscon today”

 

“excited?” Jessica asked “aren’t you nervous?”

“me?... nervous?” Yuri asked “of course, not… why would I?”

“because there’s so many people out there that might ask ridiculous questions” Jessica said

“so?” Yuri asked as if it was just nothing

“so?” Jessica asked “I do----“

“I love you…” Yuri cut her of “if I have to say it a million times, just for them to lose all of her ridiculous question, I’ll do it”

 

“how do I look?” Yuri asked as she finished wearing her clothes

 

Jessica walked towards her as she fixed Yuri’s clothes “perfect”

 

Yuri smiled as she walked towards the table and took her keys

 

“Yul…” Jessica almost whispered

“hmmm?” Yuri asked

“can I go with you?” Jessica asked

“Jessica, you know I----“

“I wanted to be on your side” Jessica said “people out there will gonna kill you with their God know what they are gonna do, I wanna protect you”

 

Yuri walked towards her

 

“I’ll stay behind you, I am not gonna say or do anything… I promise… I’ll stay quietly behind you” Jessica said “just take me with you, just let me fight with you”

 

Yuri cupped Jessica’s face “you don’t need to fight them… I’ll do all the fighting...”

 

“but Yul----“

“All you need to do is stay on my side and be my strength”

 

 

“we were so excited to hear another word from you Ms. Kwon, but seeing Ms. Jung with you today makes it more interesting”

“why change of plans?”

“why is Ms. Jung here?”

Yuri looked at Jessica smiling “a little”

Yuri looked in front smiling as she holds Jessica’s hand under the table

 

“like an angel, an angel that God sent to me…” Yuri said proudly “an angel who was the reason I am here in front of all of you, angel who always forgive me no matter how pain I caused to her….
