I won't last a day without you
Since it’s been aged since my last update, I made this a longer one…

“Jessica-ah” the manager said “can you walk faster, we’re gonna be late for your recording”
“I know” Jessica answered as she yawned “but I’m really sleepy today”
“and when are you not sleepy?” the manager asked teasingly
“tch…” Jessica hissed “where are the others anyway?... why I’m the only one who’s going to studio?”
“seriously???” the manager asked, as she looked at Jessica with are-you-kidding-me expression
Jessica looked at her with I-don’t-really-know face
Manager sighed, he gets it “I’ve been telling you for like a million times since earlier”
“no, you didn’t” Jessica told him
“yeah, I-----, fine” Manager said as he let out again “they went to their schedule’s that can’t be cancelled earlier… and after I take you to the studio I’ll pick them up”
“ahhh” Jessica uttered as she nodded in satisfaction
After few minutes of walking
“we’re here” Manager said as they finally in front of the recording studio “le—“, he got interrupted when her phone rang…
“wait here” Manager said as he pick up his phone and distance his self from Jessica
Jessica nodded as she looked at their manager who’s now busy talking on the phone… She quietly stands in front of the door, her hands on her backs, as she draws a circle on the floor using her foot
She’s busy playing using her foot when suddenly the door in front of her opened
Jessica’s POV
“as soon as I heard the door in front of me opened I immediately looked up and gonna greet, but as soon as I saw the person behind that door… everything was like blank… as in blank,”…
“the noise coming from the people passing us by, the blue paint that gives color to the wall, everything went blank… but one thing is for sure…, there she is, the person who can take my breath away just having her next to me, the person who made me feel I can’t do everything just by holding her hand, the person who once my everything, standing in front of me”
“I couldn’t say anything physically, but my mind is yelling her name “YURI!!!”

Yuri’s POV
“I can’t do it… how can I, huh?”, “she’s the reason behind that song… how can I face her and let her sing that song in front of me… Hyunah is my friend and I totally understand what it means to be professional when it comes to working, but this…. I can’t do it”
“I turned the knob and determined to get out of this place, but I think I’m a little late for that… cause the moment I opened the door, the person who’s I’m afraid to see but still the person I’m dying to see, is there… Jessica Jung, is standing there, in front of me”

Jessica and Yuri were both speechless lost in their own world, trying to process what’s happening… until SNSD’s Manager pulled them back to reality
“I’m sorry, we’re late” manager said apologetically, as he bowed to Yuri who’s still trying to fix her self
“it’s okay” Hyunah said from behind, while walking towards the door “we just got here”
“come in” Hyunah said as she grabbed Yuri’s hand and lead her to sit
“I’m Kim Hyunah” Hyunah said as she bowed to the Manager and Jessica “and this is my friend, Kwon Yuri”, she said as she pointed to Yuri who’s having a hard time being inside that place
“Yul!” Hyunah said as she elbowed Yuri
“y-yeah… I’m K-Kwon Yuri” Yuri said stuttering
“I’m working under you Ms. Kwon” the manager said
“our manager?, working under her?” Jessica thought “what does that mean?”
“ahhh, I’m aware of that but, I guess it’s the first time that we talk like this” Yuri said
The Manager gave her a smile “it’s a pleasure to meet you Ms. Kwon”
“Since we’re not inside the office, I preferred to be call Yuri” Yuri told him “I’m more comfortable that way”
“neh, Yuri-ssi” The Manager said
Yuri gave her a weak smile “thanks for the hard work”
“you’re welcome” The Manager said “and this is Jung Jessica”
“Hi, I’m Kim Hyunah” Hyunah said as she extended her hand to Jessica
“I’m Jessica” Jessica replied as she shook Hyunah’s hand
“I’m Kw---“, Yuri got cut off by Jessica
“Yuri” Jessica uttered, as she at looked Yuri, who’s been caught off guard
Hyunah’s sweats can be seen obviously on her forehead now “it’s just one word coming from her, but I feel like she already said a thousand words that occupied this room, I feel suffocated, what more could happen until the next hours”
Yuri’s POV
“Yuri~~,, I’m happy she still remember me, well how can she forgot a jerk like me, the me who made her cry, the me who left her, the me who said I won’t leave her but in the end I did, the me who broke every promised that I made, how can she forgot that name,”
“Yuri~~, she said it once, but her voice saying my name, is now echoing inside my head, It’s just 3 years but I feel like eternity, the day I realized that no one can make me happy just saying my name, same as hers… and God Knows, how much I waited for this moment, how much I waited for this moment to hear her say my name”

“now, I want to regret bringing Yuri here” Hyunah thought while looking at Jessica who’s still has her eyes on uncomfortable Yuri
“Jessica-Ah” the Manager nudged Jessica
“I mean, you preferred it that way” Jessica said still looking at Yuri “right, Yuri?”
“Kansahamnida, Yuri-ssi” Jessica said
“you don’t have to be formal” Yuri said “how old are you?”
“I’m 21,” Jessica answered
“we’re at the same age” Yuri said “so I think we can talk comfortably”
Yuri looked away “y-yeah… I guess we’re in the same age so----“
“we do” Jessica cut her off
Hyunah was now nervous like hell “I g-guess we should start now”, trying to lessen the tense that building up inside that room
Hyunah took a paper from her bag, when suddenly her phone rang… “OMMA”, she’s hesitating if she’s going to answer it or not, but if she do Yuri will be left alone with Jessica and God knows that, that’s the last thing that Yuri would want
Yuri noticed Hyunah, “aren’t you gonna answer that?”
“Well, ahh---,” Hyunah got interrupted
“it’s okay” Yuri reassured her
Hyunah let out a sigh “we’ll SNSD’s manager are here, I don’t think they’re going to fight about their past with him here”
“excuse me” Hyunah said as she walked towards the door
“Hyunah-ssi” the manager called “let’s go together”
“huh?” Hyunah looked at her confusedly
“I mean, I have to pick the others so let’s go outside together” the manager explained
Hyunah looked at Yuri worriedly
Yuri gave her a weak smile “it’s okay” she mouthed
“well, I don’t think it’s going to be okay” Hyunah thought, but she has to respect her
“you okay?” the manager asked Hyunah
“O-o course” Hyunah answered
“shall we?” the manager asked
Hyunah nodded “I’ll be fast”, she said before walking outside the door
Yuri’s POV
“As the door closed, leaving me and Jessica alone inside this room,… I was prepared for this,… actually, I’m imagining this scene where she and I are alone, the moment where she can slap me all she want, curse me, all she want… I’m prepared… and I know that even though she broke my body limb by limb, it will never be enough from what I did… but I’m still hoping that a little pain, hate would disappear”
“but------, none of it happen….. she just walked passed on me, without saying anything… and sits on the couch behind me”
“but I guess, it’s better… the more we stay quiet… it’s going to be easy for the both of us… especially for me…,”

The whole silence inside that room was deafening for Yuri, she took her bag and look for something that can keep her busy, when suddenly-----
“since we’re at the same age we could talk comfortably” Jessica said as she broke the silence “or you really forgotten about that?”
Yuri stayed silent; don’t know what words she would say on this kind of situation
“I didn’t think that, you’re the type of person who forgets thing easily” Jessica said as she looked at Yuri who’s back-facing her
Yuri gulped really hard; like really hard…, she not facing Jessica, but se surely knows, that Jessica’s looking at her…
“or I didn’t really know you” Jessica said in a normal way,
But for Yuri, it’s like Jessica’s telling her that she’s never been true to her, that everything that she said was just a lie
Yuri breathes heavily… She’s sweating cold… she doesn’t like the feeling of where this conversation will go
“don’t you think it’s rude for you to turn your back while I’m talking” Jessica said in her normal voice
Yuri stayed silent… “how the hell could I face you?”
“well… you’re good at that----,” Jessica said sarcastically
“let’s break up------I’m sorry” Yuri said, then turned around and left Jessica
“you’re really good at turning your back on people” Jessica said mockingly
Yuri remained silent
“I’m Kwon Yuri” Jessica said sarcastically, “is that really the first thing that comes in your mind after 3 years?”
Yuri closed her eyes, “what do you want me to say?”
Jessica faked a laughed “so, are we supposed to be strangers now?”
Yuri doesn’t have any intention to answer Jessica’s question… and honestly, she doesn’t’ know what to say to her…
The sound of the opening door, took Jessica and Yuri’s attention
Yuri sighed in relief when she saw Hyunah entering the room
“a-mm I interrupting something?” Hyunah asked, looking at Yuri
“no… you’re just in time” Jessica answered “and besides I don’t think your friend here doesn’t like to talk with a stranger”
Hyunah made an “O” shape on , then she looked at Yuri whose busy taking something on her bag “well, s-she’s not the kind of person who talks a lot”
“ready?” Hyunah asked
Jessica nodded as she gave her thumbs up
Then Hyunah the background music, the Jessica started to sing
“Is this what love is?”
“Does it hurt the more you do it?”
Hyunah stopped the background music “you’re a little out on the last apart”
“Is this what love is?”
“Does it hurt the more you do it?”
“that’s good” Hyunah commented while listening to Jessica
“The more I get closer to you”
“My feelings grow bigger”
“It scares me”
Hyunah raised her hands to stop Jessica from singing, then stopped the music…
“you’re good and it’s fine” Hyunah said “but, can you put more emotions”
Jessica nodded
“Is this what love is?”
“Does it hurt the more you do it?”
“The more I get closer to you”
“My feelings grow bigger”
“It scares me”
“stop” Hyunah said “can you put more emotion?”
“and what exactly kind of emotion?” Jessica asked
“well the lyrics of that first part is about, being in love” Hyunah said “what about emotions of being in love or falling in love with someone?”
“Falling in love?” Jessica asked as she smirked then looked at Yuri, who’s busy scribbling on her paper
“can you pull that feeling?” Hyunah asked hesitantly
“feeling of being in love?, sure” Jessica answered
“Is this what love is?”
“Does it hurt the more you do it?”
“The more I get closer to you”
“My feelings grow bigger”
“It scares me”
“Wait-wait-wait” Hyunah said as she turned-off the music again
“why?” Jessica asked
“it’s good but, the way you sing it… you’re just singing it for the sake of singing” Hyunah said “you’re singing it, like saying something that you never meant… it’s not feeling of love”
“well some people has that kind of love” Jessica said
That made Yuri stopped from what she’s writing,
“you, know… saying how much they love you… but they never meant it” Jessica said “promises that they don’t have any intention to fulfil… they just say it for the sake of saying it”
“Ahh--,I--, well, I didn’t know that, that kind of love exist” Hyunah said
“me too… but when reality strikes, it is” Jessica said as she looked at Yuri “don’t you think, Yuri?”
“O-Okay” Hyunah said awkwardly “but, still, that love is not what I’m saying… what I want you to do, is like sing like you mean it… sing every word like you meant it”
Jessica nodded
“Is this what love is?”
“I heard there’s many things happen here during night, that’s why no people are here at night” Yuri said seriously
“wait! Wait!” Jessica yelled while running to where Yuri went
She was looking for her when suddenly.. someone touched her shoulder..
“AHHH!!!!!" Jessica screamed as she started to hit the person with a little bag that she's holding
“Does it hurt the more you do it?”
“so are there really monster or something on that place?” Jessica asked,
“you really believed on that?” the girl asked while smiling..
“YAHHHHHHHH!!” Jessica yelled at her..
“The more I get closer to you”
“oh! Don’t tell me you are the Jessica of Girls Generation” Yuri said
“yeah, I’m her” Jessica said “why?”
“because you didn’t look the same” Yuri said “cause you’re more beautiful than what you look like on TV”
“My feelings grow bigger”
"we need to choose good spot to watch the fireworks" Yuri said
Jessica nodded
"it's gonna start" Yuri said "let's go," then she suddenly grabbed Jessica's hand and run..
"I think, it's one of the good spot" Yuri said, still holding Jessica's hand..
“It scares me”
“your hair is messed up” Yuri said when she’s fixing Jessica’s bangs..
Yuri was fixing Jessica’s bangs when suddenly the fireworks started..
Hyunah stopped the music “see, that’s what I’m talking about… feeling of falling in love”
Jessica gave her a smile “I think, nothing beats one’s experience”
“Yuri is my friend but, Why do I find this interesting?” Hyunah thought
“so, I guess, you already fell in love” Hyunah said
“yeah, you can say that” Jessica answered “you?”
“unfortunately, not yet” Hyunah answered
“well, lucky you” Jessica said “if you fall in love, you’ll get hurt in the end, and trust me… it hurts like hell”,
“well, I’ll take that as an advice” Hyunah said
“how about you, Yuri?, have you ever fall in love?” Jessica asked
Yuri stopped from writing
“well, Like I’ve told you, Yuri doesn’t like to talk about that kind of things especially with ---“, Hyunah got interrupted
“with a stranger like me” Jessica said
“with you, actually” Hyunah thought “y-yeah… you could say that”
“but, as her friend… I can talk for her” Hyunah said as she looked at Yuri who’s giving her WHAT-THE-HELL face
“really?” Jessica asked
Hyunah nodded as she gave an evilly smile to Yuri, “If you don’t mind”
“of course not” Jessica said
“well, believe it or not, Yuri was one of the most popular person in our school during our college” Hyunah said “there’s this one time that she bug me all day just to help her get rid of those student”
“so… did you help her?” Jessica asked
“yeah… of course” Hyunah played along “I told them that Yuri is my girlfriend, and they better stop bugging her or else, you know what I mean”
“and they believe you?” Jessica asked
“well, who wouldn’t” Hyunah said “Yuri and I are always together”, then she looked at Yuri who’s giving her a I-AM-HERE-YOU-KNOW, expression
“how about her real girlfriend?, she didn’t get jealous?” Jessica asked smiling while looking at Yuri
“this is insane!!!” Yuri thought
“well, she never had” Hyunah answered seriously
“s-she never had?” Jessica asked as if she heard it wrong
“well, I mean that’s what I know” Hyunah explained “she never said a single word to me having a girlfriend”
“then how about me?!!!, am I what?!!” Jessica thought, as she looked at Yuri’s way
“until, recently, I found out that she hides someone from me” Hyunah said “sh----“, she couldn’t finish what she’s gonna say when the door suddenly opened and revealed, the loud Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Sunny and Seohyun…
“hi Jessi!!!” Tiffany greeted
Jessica gave her a smile
“anneonghaseyo” Hyunah greeted them
“anneongh---“, the four girls looked at Hyunah weirdly
“i-is s-something wrong?” Hyunah asked hesitantly
“no… I mean, you look familiar” Tiffany answered “who are you again?”
“Kim Hyunah” Hyunah answered
“Hyunah?” Hyoyeon asked
“yeah… I’m Hyunah” Hyunah confirmed “why?”
“I think we heard your name somewhere before” Sunny answered
“where’s your Manager?” Hyunah asked,
“ahh… emergency” Hyoyeon answerd
“ahhh… since all of you are here, do you mind if leave all of you for a while, I’ll get something to drink” Hyunah said
“of course not” Tiffany answered
“thanks” Hyunah said
“you coming with me?” Hyunah asked as she looked at Yuri’s way, who’s still back facing the other girls
Yuri stood up as she walked towards the door, completely ignoring the four girls at the door
The four girls, literally dropped their jaw the moment they saw Yuri
“sorry about that” Hyunah apologized from Yuri’s behaviour “she’s just shy”, then went out and followed Yuri
“is----that----“
“Yuri” Jessica stated in a very calm way
“OH MY GOD!!!” Tiffany shouted, as four of them run into Jessica
“AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Yuri shouted at the top of her lungs at the rooftop
Then she heard giggling from behind
“I’m sorry” Hyunah said
“did you know that, you’re supposed to be my friend” Yuri said
“I’m your friend” Hyunah said as she sips from her soda “but, I find it very amusing”
“amusing?” Yuri asked, furrowed eyebrows
“I mean... she ing hate you” Hyunah said
“do you think I need you to tell me that?” Yuri asked
“well… in case you haven’t notice” Hyunah said playfully
“and what’s with the, she-never-had-girlfriend?” Yuri asked
“well that’s what I know… you never say anything to me before” Hyunah defended “and have you seen her face when I told her that…., she’s gonna ing kill you for denying her”
“I never denied her… and I will never” Yuri told her
“I know… but that’s what it looks like” Hyunah said
Yuri and Hyunah entered the room without saying anything especially Yuri, she just bowed to them, then sits on the chair
“let’s continue” Hyunah said
Jessica nodded
“Such a precious person to me”
“That person, who won’t ever come again”
“let’s break up” Yuri said as she let go of Jessica’s hand
“is………. is there someone else?” Jessica asked, in a hurt voice
Yuri looked at her, shook her head
“then why?!!” Jessica shouted
“ THIS LYRICS!!!” Jessica mentally cursed
“That’s it for me, that’s enough”
“Just the fact that I love you”
Yuri was walking when she felt that Jessica’s arms wrapped around her waist
“Please don’t” Jessica said while crying, leaning her head on Yuri’s back
“you want me to give up everything, I will” Jessica said, as she hold tightly on Yuri “just stay on my side”
“Sorry,” Yuri said as she looked down again “sorry cause now all I can do is give up myself” then she let go of Jessica’s hand
“The one person who can’t see me though I am looking”

Then the tears that formed from Jessica’s eyes
“D-Do you even remember me?”
Jessica's voice craked, made Yuri, tilted her head and looked at Jessica
“D-Do you even think of me?”
Hyunah stopped the music, while the other girls rust to Jessica
“I can’t take this anymore” Yuri thought as she stood up and made her way to the door
“Just once, please” Jessica said,
Yuri stopped as she clenched her fist then the tears flowed from her eyes, as she went outside
“you okay?” Hyunah asked when Yuri sits beside her
Yuri gave her a weak smile
“let’s start again” Hyunah said as she the background music
Jessica took a deep breath as she looked at her friends then smiled
“That one person, you”

“My heart can’t let you go”
“Just as much as I love you”
Tears started to flow from Jessica’s eyes
“Each minute and each second hurts so much”
Tiffany was gonna stood up to tell them to stop it, but Hyoyeon grabbed her hand and looked at Jessica
Tiffany looked at Jessica, who’s also looking at her with It’s-Okay expression
Tiffany sits on the couch reluctantly
“The one person who appears even when I close my eyes”
“The person who is next to me even in my dreams”

“I never stop thinking of you” Yuri thought

After the song ended, there’s been a silence, no one dared to say anything… when suddenly------ they heard someone sob..., not Jessica nor Yuri but---
“o-oppa?” Tiffany asked as she looked at their manager who’s wiping his tears
“when did you come?” Hyoyeon asked while looking at their manager weirdly
“well, you’re busy listening to her” the Manager answered
“then what’s with that crying thing?” Sunny asked
“that song---, it’s really---“, then wiped his tears again

It’s been raining here non-stop, and It made me feel sentimental, and ended up writing this chapter…
