“is…………. Jessica okay?” Taeyeon asked hesitantly “she loo---“

“yeah… just tired” Tiffany lied “but she’ll be fine,”

 

“I hope so” Tiffany thought while looking at helpless Jessica

 

“abo---“ Tiffany couldn’t finish what she’s gonna say when Taeyeon’s phone rang

 

Taeyeon excused herself and went to answer the phone

 

“SHE’s HOME!!!!!?????? Taeyeon asked “I’m on my way”, she said happily as she ended the call

 

“Soo, cancel all my schedule for today” Taeyeon said

“but---“ Sooyoung got interrupted

“thanks” Taeyeon said as she tapped Sooyoung’s shoulder then left

 

 

“YUL!!!!!!” Taeyeon shouted as she made her way inside the Kwon’s mansion “YU----“

“Taeng” Yuri said

 

Taeyeon smiled happily as she rushed to Yuri and hugged her tightly “I miss you”

 

Yuri smiled as she hugged Taeyeon “miss you too”

 

“I don’t want to ruin your reunion but, I’m gonna be late” Yoona said behind them

 

Yuri and Taeyeon laughed as they let go of each other

 

“wait here” Yuri said “I’ll just drive her to school”

“I’ll come” Taeyeon said

“you sure?” Yuri asked

 

Taeyeon nodded

 

 

“see you later” Yuri said when they got in front of Yoona’s school

“pick me up at 5” Yoona said, then went outside

 

 

“so, wanna eat somewhere?” Yuri asked “I couldn’t eat earlier”

“sure” Taeyeon answered

 

“so… I think you owe me story” Taeyeon said as she sip on her coffee

“are you and Tiffany dating?” Yuri asked trying to change the subject

 

Taeyeon laughed

 

“you know… it’s all over the news” Yuri said

“there’s nothing going on between us” Taeyeon answered “we just met in a place we’re we usually go”

 

Yuri smiled weakly

 

“don’t worry” Taeyeon said “you’re here… and that’s all that matter”

 

“thanks for the song, I like it” Yuri said

 

Taeyeon smiled

 

“but are you really and Tiffany d---“ Yuri got interrupted

“yah!!!” Taeyeon yelled “and why you keep asking about me and Tiffany?”

“nothing” Yuri answered “just curious”

 

Taeyeon looked at her with “you’re lying”, face

 

Yuri sighed “by any chance, did you mention my name to Tiffany?”

 

“and why would you care, as if you two know each othe----“ Taeyeon looked at her accusingly “do you two know each other?”

 

Yuri nodded weakly

 

“woW!!, all this time… all I have to do was asked her, and I could find you” Taeyeon said “I should’ve told her your name”

“can I ask you a favour?” Yuri asked

“it depends” Taeyeon answered

“please… don’t ever, ever mention my name to Tiffany” Yuri said

“just tell me why” Taeyeon said

 

Yuri took a deep breath, and then told Taeyeon the whole story

 

“that was----, are you okay?” Taeyeon asked

 

Yuri smiled at her weakly

 

“that maybe the reason, why she look like that” Taeyeon said

“why?... what happen?” Yuri asked worriedly

“you know… she looks like you” Taeyeon answered “smiling but deep inside---, what’s your plan now?”

“nothing” Yuri answered

“I know Mr. Lee is greedy, but I didn’t know that he can go that far” Taeyeon said

“don’t mention it to Yoona” Yuri said

“I won’t” Taeyeon said

 

 

Jessica locked herself in the room

She sat on her bed, then cry on her knees

 

“then what do you love?” Jessica asked as she turned around and faced Yuri

Yuri stared at her “I……………love…………Jessica Jung”

 

“so, what are you going to do?... if one day you woke up and I’m gone?” Yuri asked

“I won’t do anything” Jessica said

“nothing?... as in nothing?... as if nothing happen?” Yuri asked

Jessica smiled “aniyo... I won’t do anything cause I know it won’t happen, you won’t, right?”

Yuri just smiled at her

“promise?” Jessica asked

“promise” Yuri answered as she smiled and hugged Jessica

 

“you promise to me”” Jessica said while crying “you promise”

 

“SOOYEON-AH!!!!!,” Yuri shouted again “SARANGHAE!!!!!”

Yuri looked at her smiling “SARANGHAEYO!!! JUNG SOOYEON!!!!”

 

 

After few days…

 

“Yoona, let’s go!” Yuri said

“huh?” Yoona looked at Yuri confusedly “I thought----“

“let’s go I lost my appetite” Yuri said clenching her fist

“o-okay” Yoona said as she looked where Yuri is looking

 

 

“Yuri, what happen?”  Yoona asked when she saw Yuri standing at the balcony looking at the sky

“nothing” Yuri answered as she wiped the tears on her face before faced Yoona

“do you know Mr. Lee?” Yoona asked “you look different, when you saw him earlier”

 

Yuri smirked “all I know is he’s not a good person”

 

“I know I’ve told you before, that I’m willing to wait until you’re willing to tell me what happen” Yoona said “but seeing you right now, I don’t think I can wait for that moment”

 

Yuri didn’t answer

 

“do you know why I waited here?” Yoona asked “because you told me to wait, because you promise that you’re gonna come back and gonna take me away from here… I know, you’re gonna keep… but why did you come back?

 

Yuri looked at Yoona but still silent

 

“why did you come back knowing, that you can’t still fulfil it?” Yoona asked

 

 

FLASHBACK

 

 

“sorry… I can’t bring you” Yuri said holding back her tears

“I understand… you must hate me and don’t wanna see me for what happen” Yoona said

“hey!!, hey!!” Yuri said as cupped Yoona’s face “listen to me”

 

“it’s not your fault… I’m not mad at you” Yuri said

“but because of me, oppa died” Yoona said now crying

“he died for you… but it doesn’t mean it’s your fault” Yuri said holding back her tears

“but he died for nothing” Yoona said

“he didn’t die for nothing… he died for your happiness” Yuri said still holding back her tears “and I know, even if we can turn back time he’ll do the same thing… he’ll still save you over and over again… that’s how much he love you”… Yuri said now tears are flowing from her eyes

“that’s why it’s my fault” Yoona said as she crying

“told you it’s not your fault” Yuri said wiping Yoona’s tears “even if it was me… I’ll do the same thing… because I love you, and I know wherever he is now… he’s happy for you”

 

Yoona didn’t say anything and just continue crying

 

“we want you to be happy… so don’t let anyone take that away from you” Yuri said

“then why are you leaving me here?” Yoona asked

“cuase I don’t know what’s gonna happen to me. I don’t know where should I go, I don’t know” Yuri said “and I can’t risk you on that”

 

“but I’m gonna be alone here” Yoona said

“sorry..” Yuri said “but when everything’s okay… I’ll get back here and I’ll take you”

“you promise?” Yoona asked crying

“I promise” Yuri said as she hugged Yoona tightly “so don’t leave here… cause if you do I don’t know where to find you”

 

 

End of Flashback

 

 

“caused I’m someone who can’t keep a promise” Yuri answered as she looked at the sky

“Jessica” Yoona said

 

Yuri looked at Yoona couldn’t believe, she never say anything about Jessica

 

“don’t give me that look, it’s creepy” Yoona said jokingly not looking at Yuri

Yuri didn’t answer and just stare at Yoona

 

“did you know that every night I’m checking if you’re okay?” Yoona asked as she looked at Yuri “you’re crying……. You keep saying her name”

 

Yuri looked down

 

“is that a nightmare or something?” Yoona asked jokingly

 

Yuri smiled “best dream I’ve ever had”

 

“who is she?” Yoona asked

“she is my everything” Yuri answered in a verge of crying

“is she the one?” Yoona asked

 

Yuri smiled “she’ll be the only one”

 

“then why are you here?” Yoona asked

“because I can’t be with her” Yuri said still holding back her tears

“why?” Yoona asked “is it a one-sided love?”

 

Yuri sighed “how I wish that it’s just one-sided love… so that she won’t get hurt”

“but she’s hurt” Yoona said “and you know she loves you”

 

Yuri didn’t say anything

 

“is she related to Mr. Lee?” Yoona asked

 

Then Yuri told Yoona everything about Mr. Lee

 

Yoona was clenching her fist after she heard what happen

 

“where are you going?” Yuri asked when Yoona started to walked

“I’m just gonna slap him with our money!!” Yoona said angrily

Yuri laughed “yah!!! you have no idea how much I wanted to do that”

“then you should have!!!” Yoona shouted angrily

“you know I can’t” Yuri said

“you can’t or you won’t?” Yoona asked

 

Yuri didn’t answer

 

Yoona let out a sigh “do you have any idea how pathetic you are right now?”

 

Yuri stayed silent

 

“you’re the one who told me that don’t let anyone take your happiness away from you”  Yoona said “yet you let him!”

“I didn’t do for him” Yuri said “I did it for Jessica”

“because that jerk think that you’r----“ Yoona got interrupted

“It wouldn’t change a thing” Yuri said

“yes it will!!!” Yoona shouted “if you told him that you’re rich, powerful like him… he wouldn’t do that”

“even if I told him that… he’s gonna find a way for me to do that” Yuri said “he’s someone who only love money… you don’t know him”

 

Yoona sighed and didn’t say anything

 

“I don’t want her to choose between me and her dreams” Yuri said

“are you afraid that she will choose her dream over you?” Yoona asked

“I’m afraid that she will choose me over her dreams” Yuri said

 

Yoona looked at her confusedly “don’t you think you should be happy that she’s gonna choose you?”

 

“you have no idea how happy I am just thinking that she will choose me over everything but I don’t want her to woke up one day, that she regret loving me because she lose her dreams, she lose everything” Yuri said “I don’t want her to regret loving me”

 

“don’t you think she’s not gonna regret and hate you for leaving her?” Yoona asked

“she will, I know that… and I deserve to be hate” Yuri said

“you’re stupid” Yoona said “she’s already in your hand, all you have to do is hold her tightly but you let her go”

“you know one thing I realized… sometimes loving someone is not about how hard you try to be with them, it’s not about how much you fight for them…” Yuri said “It’s about how you let them go no matter how hard it is, how painful it is”

 

 

“you okay?” Taeyeon asked Yuri after what they saw on the news

 

“SNSD Jessica collapse because of tiredness”

 

“they said she’s just tired” Taeyeon said “but from what I heard, she’s not eating, and just crying all day”

“she’s gonna be okay, right?” Yuri said, convincing herself, her eyes become teary

“who knows” Taeyeon answered “don’t you think you should talk to her?”

“for what?” Yuri asked “It won’t change anything; I will still leave her… I don’t want it to make it harder than it is”

“but If you don’t talk… both of you won’t be able to move on” Taeyeon said

 

“how is she?” Tiffany asked

“don’t worry” the doctor said “she’s just stress too much.. she just need some sleep and rest”

“thanks” Tiffany said

 

“I don’t know what to do to her” Tiffany asked in a verge of crying

“any word from Yuri?” Sunny asked

“nothing” Seohyun answered “we couldn’t contact her since they broke up”

“she didn’t say anything to you?” Hyoyeon asked

“I couldn’t think a reason, why they broke up” Hyoyeon said “if only Yuri is here”

“do you think she will come?” Sunny asked

“I hope so” Hyoyeon answered “but I don’t think she will find this room,”

“girls, you should go back to your dorm now” their manager said

“oppa, we can’t leave Jessica here” Sunny said

“you heard the doctor, she’s fine” the manager said

“good evening” Taeyeon greeted as she opened the door to Jessica’s room “how is she?”

“she’s okay” Tiffany answered

“Taeyeon-ssi, can you stay here for a while?” the manager ask “I’m just gonna bring them in their dorm”

“s-sure” Taeyeon answered

“Thank you” the manager said

“I’ll look after her” Taeyeon said to Tiffany “be careful on your way”

 

Taeyeon was sitting beside Jessica when Yuri opened the door

 

“I’ll leave you to alone” Taeyeon said as went outside

“thank you” Yuri said

 

Yuri sat beside Jessica, and before she knew it a tears flowing on her eyes

                 

“Y-Yuri” Jessica uttered

 

Yuri was surprised then she looked at Jessica, she’s still sleeping

Then a tears from Jessica’s eyes flowed

 

“can you stop crying?” Yuri said, as the tears in her eyes continues “cause it might be the last time, that I will be able to wipe it for you”, she said while wiping Jessica’s tears

 

Yuri leaned forward then kiss Jessica’s forehead

 

“take care, My Princess”
