“3:30 a.m…  it’s 3:30 yet I’m still awake,.. I’ve been like this since yesterday, when I saw her… it’s been three years but I feel like nothing’s change,… she’s the same Yuri who can take my breath away just looking at me, the same Yuri who can make my heart beats like crazy just having her closer to me… the same Yuri who makes me happy and sad at the same time”

Morning

 

“What happen to you?” Tiffany asked when she saw Jessica get out of the room

“why?” Jessica asked

“you’re face” Tiffany said “have you seen yourself?”

“it must be the eye bags” Jessica thought “can’t sleep last night”

 

“then something is really wrong” Hyoyeon butted in from behind “it’s a miracle that you didn’t sleep last night”

 

 

“what’s with the sudden meeting?” SNSD’s Manager asked

“don’t know” SJ’s Manager said

 

“so is everyone here?” Yuri asked when she entered the room where the entire manager’s of their artist are waiting

 

“yes, Ms. Kwon” Ms. Han answered

 

“I know all of you are wondering what’s with this sudden meeting or why I’m even standing right here in front of you” Yuri said “so I won’t waste your time and I’ll get to the point, the reason for this meeting, is I’ll handle all of you”

 

“huh?” everyone in the room asked confusedly

 

“what do you mean handle us?” f(x), manager asked

“means… from now on…  every schedule. Every offer, everything that concerns about the artist of this company, you have to tell me… you have to report to me” Yuri said

“how about their personal lives?” f(x) manager asked

“personal means it’s private, and we have to respect that” Yuri said “I don’t care about their personal lives but if you think that it concerns their job, please do tell me”

“how about Mr. Lee?” Exo’s manager asked

“he’s busy  with other things” Yuri lied “so I’m going to handle this”

 

“and if you fail to tell me something, you have to find a new job” Yuri said in a serious tone “did I make myself clear?”

 

“yeah…” the manager’s answer

 

 

 

“what’s with the emergency meeting?” Yuri asked as soon as she got inside the meeting room “is something wrong?”

“what do you think you’re doing?!!!” Mr. Lee asked angrily

“good morning, too… Mr. Lee” Yuri said sarcastically

 

Mr. Lee clenched his fist “my business partners keep on calling me that you’re rejecting their offer!”

 

“Mr. Lee can you calmed down” Mr. Kang said “she must have her own reason”

“first of all, have you seen all of their schedules? Yuri asked “all of them have only two hours of sleep… for God’s sake, they’re not a robot!”

“it’s part of their job, they fully know that!” Mr. Lee said angrily “do you know that you’re throwing a million!!”

 

Yuri smirked “so, this is all about money”

 

“Business is about money!!!” Mr. Lee shouted

“for you… not for me” Yuri said sarcastically

 

Mr. Lee is clenching his fist really hard “do you really know how to handle a business?”

 

Yuri smirked again “how about you, Mr. Lee… do you know how?... cause if you do… I won’t be standing here in front of you, because the last time I checked I am the C.E.O here, not you”

 

Mr. Lee clenched his fist and threw all the paper in front of him as he stood up and went outside the room angrily

 

“Sorry about that Ms. Kwon” Mr. Yong said apologetically “you know it’s the first time that someone go against him”

“it’s okay… I understand him” Yuri said

“but, Ms. Kwon, I’m not saying that he’s right but those people that you rejected they are the companies long time business partners, don’t you think it’ll make some issues in the future?” Mr. Yong said

 

“I already thought about that” Yuri answered “but, I don’t want to give them a unsatisfied service… if I accepted those offers and it happens that during their performance they collapse or something happen… who would they blame, of course us…”

 

“but Ms. Kwon, we’ve been doing this for like a decades now” Mr. Yoo said

 

“Mr. Yoo… he’s one of the most loyal person to Mr. Lee” Mr. Kwon said

 

“we’ve been? Or Mr. Lee’s been doing?” Yuri asked sarcastically

 

Mr. Yoo felt her blood boiling from embarrassment and became speechless

 

“so, since it has come to this… I guess it’s time to make big changes…” Yuri said in a serious tone “I am the new C.E.O and I will handle this company in my way, not the way Mr. Lee run this business”

 

The board listen to her attentively including MR. Yoo

 

“all of you are the one who put me in here, but it doesn’t mean that I can be the puppet that will follow everything that you want me to do” Yuri said in a serious tone “so if anyone here, who don’t like the way I’ll handle or run this business, you’re free to go… cause I don’t need you here”

 

Some members looked at her, some are chatting… and some are hanging their head low including MR. Yoo

 

“and one more thing” Yuri said and get the attention of all the board members “if you stay here, right now… I wanted to make things clear, if you choose to stay here, you can ask, you can contradict on what I’m doing… but don’t you dare tell me what to do”

 

Then there’s a silence

 

“so anyone who want to go now?” Yuri asked as she looked around, looking if someone will leave, but none

 

“so, I guess… all of you will work under me now, right Mr. Yoo” Yuri said

 

“y-yeah” Mr. Yoo nodded as he hung her head low again

 

“all of you can go now” Yuri said as she leaned on her chair and sighed heavily “I guess, I have to do it on a hard way”,

 

 

 

Yuri was closing her eyes, relaxing herself from what happen when her phone rang

“hey Yul!” Yoona greeted on the other line

“morning” Yuri greeted “how are you?”

“can you believe that I feel like I’m an artist right now” Yoona said proudly

“why?” Yuri asked

“remember the fashion magazine?” Yoona asked “people here recognized me, and ask me to take a picture with them”

“then you must be happy” Yuri said

“I’m happy the first day” Yoona said “but trust me, the next day… it’s annoying”

 

“hahaha!” Yuri laughed “why?”

 

“I can’t even eat peacefully, picture here and there” Yoona said “and that’s the last time I’m going to be a model”

“how’s Paris?” Yuri asked

“no wonder you enjoy being here” Yoona said “this place is so beautiful”

“told you” Yuri said

“yeah…” Yoona said “how about you?... is everything okay?”

Yuri sighed heavily

 

“you met her?” Yoona asked

Yuri didn’t answer, but Yoona already knew the answer

 

“you okay?” Yoona asked “of course she’s not!”, PABO!”

 

Silence for a moment “I’m going to be okay, don’t worry” Yuri answered

 

“hope so” Yoona said

 

“girlfriend” Yuri said

 

Yoona smiled “why?”

 

“don’t you dare cheat on me!” Yuri said jokingly

 

Yoona laughed “pray that I won’t”

 

Yuri laughed “I miss you”

 

“miss you too, Yul” Yoona said, then ended the call

 

Yuri sighed heavily as she put down her phone on the table

 

“am I going to be okay??” Yuri asked herself

 

 

 

 

“is something wrong?” Yuri asked

“no… not really” Mr. Kang answered “but I guess, we have to let you know that, Ms. Kim is---“

“who is Ms. Kim?” Yuri asked

“Kim Hyunah” Mr. Kang answered

“Kim Hyunah?” Yuri asked

“yeah… she’s one of the best producer today even at her early age” Mr. Kang explained “and you know that we’re working on, on SNSD’s comeback and we’re planning to get her as the producer”

“and?” Yuri asked

“we’ve been asking her for a months now but she keep on rejecting us” Mr. Kang explained “I w---“

“I’ll handle this… I’ll talk to her” Yuri said as she stood up and went outside of her office

“but Ms. Kw---“, he couldn’t finished what she’s gonna say when the door closed “goodluck”

 

 

 

 

“Tok!tok!Tok!”

 

“you’re sooner than I expected” Hyunah said as she opened the door of her house

“so I guess, you know why I’m here” Yuri said as she went inside

“kind of” Hyunah answered “tea?, coffee?”

“water is fine” Yuri answered as she sat on the couch

“so… I guess, you knew that I reject your company’s offer” Hyunah said as she gave the water to Yuri

 

Yuri nodded “I don’t know why they keep chasing on you when they can pick others”

 

“YAH!!!!” Hyunah shouted

 

Yuri laughed “just joking”

 

“so, why you keep on rejecting that offer?” Yuri asked

“because that’s the company who make your life miserable” Hyunah said in a serious tone

 

Then a silence

 

“until now, I don’t understand why did you accept that offer” Hyunah said

“cause, I don’t want others to experience the same thing as mine” Yuri said

 

Hyunah sighed heavily

 

“and as a new President, I don’t want to disappoint them” Yuri said “so pllllllllllease… pretty pleaseeeeeeeeee….accept it… for me”,

 

“YAH!!!, KWON YURI!!!” Hyunah said “it doesn’t suit you!!!”, she said as she took a pillow and threw it to Yuri

 

Yuri laughed “so, are you gonna accept it?”

 

“sure… but one condition” Hyunah said

“what?” Yuri asked

“at least make a song that I’ll include on their album” Hyunah said

“you’re joking, right?” Yuri asked

“do I look like I’m joking?” Hyunah asked

“YAH!!!, I’m a business woman not a song writer” Yuri protested

“That One Person, You” Hyunah said “you wrote that song way back years”

 

Yuri gulped “Hyunah, I s----“

 

“I know it’s not finished yet, before” Hyunah said “but I guess, you’ve already finished it now”

 

“I’ll make another song… just not tha---“ Yuri got interrupted

“nope… I want that one” Hyunah said “and don’t you dare change anything on the first stanza, cause I remember every word on it”

 

 

Yuri starts looked at the song in front of her and play the piano

“hey!” Yuri said as she smiled at her

“here” Yuri said while handing her the song

“what is it?” Hyunah asked

“the song, you’re asking me” Yuri said

“ahh… why are you giving me that?” Hyunah asked

“huh?” Yuri asked confusedly

“I ask you to make a song, and since it’s your song, you’re the one who will decide the right tune of it, the right beat” Hyunah said

“YAH!!!, it’s not part of the deal” Yuri protested

“it’s your song not mine” Hyunah said “so, you’re gonna go inside and help me to that song”

“but----“

“go inside, or I won’t do it” Hyunah said

“you clearly knew, that it’s on SNSD’s album, right?” Yuri asked

 

Hyunah nodded

 

“means, Je-Je-Je----“ Yuri got interrupted

“means Jessica is going to be there” Hyunah said “I’m aware of that”

“so, why the hell are you asking me to go inside?” Yuri asked unbelievably

 

Hyunah shrugged her shoulder and gave Yuri an innocent smile

 

 

“relax” Hyunah said as she tapped Yuri’s shoulder

“how can I?” Yuri asked “you pushed me into a trap”

“I didn’t push you” Hyunah defended “you pulled into this remember, you ask me to do it”

 

Yuri sighed heavily “I swear, it’s going to be the last time that I’ll ask a favor from you”

 

Hyunah laughed

 

“so how do we cut this song for them?” Yuri asked looking at the lyrics

“we’re not gonna cut that song” Hyunah said “Jessica will sing it”

“Jess----, what?!!!” Yuri asked as she stood up

“Yul, I guess that song suits her voice” Hyunah said calmly

“it’s not about the voice!!” Yuri yelled

“Yul, I know… I understand… but can you please be professional?” Hyunah asked

 

Yuri looked at her unbelievably “how can I be professional, when it’s so personal?!!!!”

 

“Yur---“

“I won’t do it!!” Yuri said as she threw the lyrics on the floor and made her eay through the door

 

 “Yul!!!, I’m sor---“ Hyunah couldn’t finish what she’s gonna say when she saw Yuri stopped from going out the room, and froze at the doorway silently
