It was a light and soft kiss that was to comfort him more than anything else. After we pulled away, he hugged me tightly while burying his face into my neck. He sighed deeply while we leaned against the tree.

“I love you.” Kyuhyun said while looking at me in the eyes.

Our lips reconnected when I said the exact same thing.

“Is that?” Hyukjae started to say, “Is that Yunho?”

It was indeed Yunho walking towards the small restaurant with someone else. Hyukjae looked closer and notice the resemblance with Heechul and the guy that was walking with Yunho.

Hyukjae was surprised to see his hyung actually laughing and smiling with someone other than family. They were walking so close that their hands would brush up against each other every so often.

“H-Hyukjae?” Donghae hesitantly called out while looking at the older boy with worried eyes. 

Donghae couldn’t tell if Hyukjae was happy or angry at seeing his hyung after he was missing for a couple of days. And he knows about the brother complexes that are going on in the family. Wouldn’t he be happy if Yunho has a boyfriend?

Hyukjae took one last look at the couple and faced Donghae with unreadable eyes.

“A-Are you okay?” Donghae asked.

Hyukjae let out a sigh and smiled at Donghae. “Yeah I’m fine. Just a little…surprised.”

Fortunately, Yunho and the person who he was with sat in the outside area of the restaurant so he didn’t see Hyukjae and Donghae because of the place they were sitting.

“He looks happy though.” Donghae said while peaking at Yunho outside.

“Yeah he does.” Hyukjae said laughing. “Lets finish our food first. Would it be okay if we go and talk to him after finishing?” He asked.

Donghae nodded. “O-Okay.”

(Sungmin POV)

“K-Kyuhyun!” I giggled as said ert buried his face into my neck nibbling here and there.

We got to school pretty early so we decided to sit on one of the benches in the back of the building. There’s almost no one here so he decided to fool around.

“Minnie, I just want a kiss~” Kyuhyun whined while he tried to wrap his arms around me.

“PDA is bad!” I whined back at him.

We were perfectly fine having a normal conversation until I gave him an innocent peck on his lips (I swear!). He apparently took it the wrong way and he is now trying to attack me at school.

Our position turned a little more suggestive when we ended up on the grass in a laying position with Kyuhyun over me. He pushed my legs to the side so that my thighs would part so he would have room to place himself in between them.

He hummed into my neck as I just gave up and wrapped my arms around him to bring him closer.

“You’re so stubborn.” I said to him and he just chuckled. I rolled my eyes but couldn’t help but smile.

We lay there for a while listening to everything around us. Luckily no one was at school yet because we would have got in trouble for doing something like this. I shuddered about the idea of appa finding out about us like that, he would have killed Kyuhyun.

“Sungmin.” He called out to me finally pulling away so his hands rested on either side of my head while holding himself up over me.

“Yes?” I answered him. I can’t believe about how comfortable we got around each other. I’m not even blushing right now.

“I wanna sing for you.” He said so quickly that I almost missed what he was saying.

My eyes widened at what he said. I remember asking him to sing for me but I didn’t think that he actually would.

I beamed at him “Really?” He nodded his head and helped me up so that I could sit on the bench while he stood in front of me.

“No laughing.” He told me.

I nodded my head.

“No teasing.”

I rolled my eyes but nodded anyway.

“No-“ He was about to say but I cut him off.

“Kyuhyun! You’re going to sound fine so stop freaking out!” I told him because he was starting to get fidgety.

“It’s going to be in Chinese okay? So it might sound a little weird but I was planning on singing it for Hyesung because his birthday is coming soon, like tonight, so I need you to tell me if I’m any good or not because Hyesung sings really good and I don’t wanna embarrass myself.” He told me while he tried to calm himself down.

When he finished singing all I could do was just sit there and not say anything. I can’t even explain in words about how emotional and well, beautiful his voice is.

“S-Sungmin? Was it okay?” He asked me hesitantly waiting for a response from me. “M-Minnie?”

He came closer to me and I threw myself at him. I hugged him tight and I could feel his heard thumping loudly through his chest. He must have been nervous.

“That was amazing.” I mumbled into his chest. After hearing my response, he slowly relaxed and finally wrapped his arms around me. We stayed like this for a little until we saw some of the students going in through the front gate.

“I don’t feel to nervous about it anymore.” He said while grinned at me. He interlaced our fingers together as we walked in hand in hand. “I was supposed to ask you if you wanted to come tonight and for you to invite your family. Hyesung and Junjin would like to catch up with them.”

“I’m sure that appa and umma is going to want to go.” I said. “So is everything okay with your appa and Hyesung?”

Kyuhyun sighed when he thought of what to say. “I guess that everything is okay now.”

I frowned a little, “What do you mean?”

“Even though appa and Hyesung look good together, they’re actually not really together. You know that right?” He asked me.

I nodded a little unsurely to where this was going.

Kyuhyun began to explain, “Appa sees them as really close friends but I don’t think that it’s the same for Hyesung. Some of my appas friends were trying to set him up with some girls they know but he just went ahead and agreed to it.”

“Then Hyesung found out?” I asked sadly. Of course he must had if they have a problem right now.

“Yeah he did.” Kyuhyun said. “He kind of…shut down after that. Its not like they’re actually together so he can’t say anything. So one night he disappeared and we were all freaking out because he usually doesn’t do stuff like that.”

“Then last night, he casually walks in like nothing is wrong and we all bombed him with questions. We were actually planning the week before to take him out to dinner that night as like an early birthday present but it wasn’t the right time. Then we noticed that he wasn’t wearing his own clothes. He also had bite marks on his neck.” Kyuhyun said while frowning.

My eyes widened.

“And of course appa went into a frenzy mode. We thought that he got well… forced but he told us that nothing happened even with all the evidence out in the open. When appa asked him whom he was with. He said Eric, who was his ex boyfriend that cheated on him when they were in high school. Appa hates Eric because he broke Hyesungs heart before and he was even more furious that Hyesung went running back to him.” He explained quietly while he walked down the hallway.

“Then what happened?” I asked.

“Then they had a fight with Hyesung claiming that what he does in his private life isn’t any of appas business while appa was arguing with him that its his business too. After last night, this morning was pretty awkward. Hyesung still cooked breakfast for us and we did wish him a happy birthday but… I just can’t handle it.” Kyuhyun said while sighing.

“Are you sure you guys want us to come over?” I asked.

“Yeah. At least that they will have some other people to focus on.” He said.

There was still something that was bothering me about what happened.

“Why is Junjin-appa mad anyway? Like you said before, Hyesung might have just acted recklessly because your appa started dating again but why is he getting mad?” I asked.

“Exactly.” Kyuhyun said. “It really isn’t his business. I could say that he’s even jealous about the Eric thing.”

Ohhh….

And I thought that my family was the only one with drama.

“But hopefully after tonight, everyone will have a great time and this mess can be resolved.” He said while we came to a stop in front of my class.

I stood on my toes to peck him on the cheek. “I hope everything works out. See you next period.”

“Bye baby.” He said while my lips very quickly and smirked when he saw the blood that rushed into my face.

Baby?????

Since when did he call me baby?

So embarrassing! Stupid Kyuhyun.

(No ones POV)

“S-Shut up Yunho!” Jaejoong shouted while covering his face in embarrassment from the other. He pouted when he heard Yunho laugh.

Right now, Jaejoong and Yunho went out to eat breakfast. Yunho was currently teasing Jaejoong about his roommate who once again, decided to embarrass him.

When Yunho reached Jaejoongs shared apartment with his roommate Changmin, he heard someone screaming apartment. Yunho panicked and burst through the door to see Jaejoong running around the place in only shorts, very short lacey feminine-looking shorts, chasing his roommate and screaming at him to give him proper clothes.

“Why do you even have those?” Yunho asked when he stopped laughing but still sniggering here and there.

Jaejoong shot him an exasperated look, “I already told you that it wasn’t mine!”

Yunho just raised his eyebrow and said, “Sure.”

“Oh my god.” Jaejoong said while giving up on trying to convince Yunho that it wasn’t his.

The two men have been almost inseparable for the past three days now. They go out walking around the town trying different places to eat and lounge around in.

“You sound just like hyung.” Yunho mumbled out after having another laughing fit.

It was meant to be a light comment but it hit Jaejoong like a brick. He almost forgot about Yunho’s love for his hyung. Jaejoong thinks his crush on Yunho is pretty obvious but of course he won’t act on his feelings because he is always compared to Heechul.

He understands that Yunho is just close to his hyung but…

It still makes him uneasy. Yunho always says things like

You’re just like my hyung

No matter what he does, he’s always compared to someone he will probably never win too.

‘Even if I do confess and by a miracle, he accepts, I’ll never be the number one in his heart.’ Jaejoong thought sadly while looking down at his water.

Jaejoong almost jumped when he felt a warm hand hesitantly grasp his. He looked up to see Yunho giving him a concern look.

“Are you okay? What happened?” Yunho asked.

Jaejoong shook his head and gave him a fake smile. “I’m fine.”

“I’m sorry for teasing you if that’s what your upset about.” Yunho said looking guilty.

The other man let out a soft laugh and said, “Don’t worry about it.”

Yunho looked like he was going to say something else but he spotted someone familiar over Jaejoongs shoulder.

Jaejoong frowned and turned around to see two guys walking to their table. One was wearing a high school uniform while the other guy was wearing casual clothes. He faced back to Yunho and asked, “Oh. Do you know them?”

Yunho just gave him a nod and stood up to pull Hyukjae into a short hug while giving Donghae a confused look.

“This is Hyukjae, one of my brothers. And this is…” He stopped to look at the student, “And this is… Donghae?” The said boy nodded and gave a shy smile.

‘Cute’ Thought Hyukjae and Jaejoong

Jaejoong smiled and also stood up to introduce himself. “Good morning. I’m Jaejoong.” He said politely while giving a small bow to both of them. They looked surprised but ree too.

Yunho looked around the table and noticed that they had a few open seats. “Um, come and sit.”

Everyone sat down at the table and Jaejoong took the time to observe the two new faces.

Donghae didn’t look familiar but he was cute. Hyukjae was well…handsome.

‘I guess good looks runs in the family.’ Jaejoong thought.

“-So is he your boyfriend?” He heard Yunho ask a blushing Hyukjae and Donghae. Both of the boys shyly glanced at each other and nodded to Yunho.

Yunho looked surprised but he didn’t look angry at all. He just looked… he looked fine with it.

“…That’s good.” Yunho said after a short pause. Hyukjae shot him a big grin while Donghae gave a small smile at the acceptance. Hyukjae looked towards Jaejoong and gave him a once over before opening his mouth.

‘Please don’t ask if were dating.’ Jaejoong pleaded in his head.

“Is this your boyfriend hyung?” Hyukjae asked Yunho who looked like he already expected this question.

Jaejoong almost let out a whine of embarrassment. Donghae gave him a knowing look saying I understand. Don’t worry.

Yunho gave a long look at Jaejoong and slowly said, “I don’t think so.”

Jaejoong gave a surprise squeak. What do you mean???

“I m-mean no.” Yunho said and stuttered a little while not making eye contact with Jaejoong.

 Yunho looked calm on the outside but Jaejoong was freaking out inside.

‘We’re going out? What?! We’re not right??’ Jaejoong screamed in his head. He was so lost in his own conversation that he missed the entire conversation between Yunho and Hyukjae.

“He’s fine right?” Yunho asked with worried eyes looking at Hyukjae.

Hyukjae gave him a look saying ‘What do you think?’

Yunho let out a sigh and said, “Should I go home today?”

At Yunhos words, sadness filled Jaejoong. Of course he knew that Yunho had to go home eventually but he just wished it didn’t come so soon.

“If you want to. I have to take Donghae to school but I can take you to the house after I drop off Donghae.” Hyukjae said while looking at his phone to look at the time. “We’re going to have to leave soon because school is going to start.”

Yunho nodded and told Hyukjae to wait near the car. Hyukjae and Donghae were walking away holding hands as Yunho turned to Jaejoong who had an unreadable look on his face.

Jaejoong gave Yunho another fake smile as he said, “I guess this is goodbye?” But he was surprised to see Yunho shake his head.

He was even more surprised when he found himself buried into Yunhos chest. Arms gently wrapped around his waist and Jaejoong couldn’t help but enjoy the feeling. He returned the embrace by wrapping his arms around Yunho.

“I want to see you again.” Yunho said softly.

A blush made its way to Jaejoongs face when he heard Yunhos words. ‘Just as friends, just as friends.’ Jaejoong said in his head trying not to get his hopes up.

“Yeah, me too.” Jaejoong replied quietly. He didn’t want to let Yunho go but he knew that the embrace was going on longer than usual friends. But Yunho didn’t fully let go of him; he just pulled away slightly to look at Jaejoongs face.

“I’ll come back soon okay?” Yunho told him. “Let me get things straighten out with Heechul and I’ll come back to see you. And I’ll take you out around my town.”

Jaejoong nodded happily but shyly, “I’ll like that.”

Yunho smiled and was about to pull away but was shocked to feel Jaejoong pull on his shirt to give him a kiss on the cheek.

It was only a short peck but it took a lot of strength for Jaejoong to do it.

With a red face Jaejoong rushed away from the scene with a ‘Bye!’ towards Yunhos direction.

Yunhos was frozen on the spot and Hyukjae had to come and get him because he was taking too long. But even with all Hyukjaes complaining, nothing could wipe that grin off of his face.
