Kyuhyun answered him by once again, clasping our hands together. He gave them a huge dorky smile that stretched across his whole face.

Even though he acts like the “cool guy”, he’s still my nerdy Kyu. His smile must have been contagious because I also gave them a smile of my own.

 We walked to school hand in hand with Yesung hyung and Wookie trailing behind us having their own conversation.

Even though I know that it was only a little peck, I still can’t help but squeal in my head whenever I think about our first kiss. Well, it actually was my very first kiss. I hope this doesn’t sound y but… I hope we have many more kisses.

(Blushes) D-did I just think that?? O-of course I would want more kisses. We’re a couple so it’s normal!

I was brought out of my thoughts when I felt Kyuhyun give my hand a little squeeze. I turned my head to him and couldn’t help but give him a shy smile. I hummed in acknowledgement.

“We’re almost to school Minnie,” he said giving me a smile. When I looked in front of us I could see the students entering the gate. “And I wanted to know if you were okay with this.” He finished while gesturing to our hands.

Oh, so he’s wondering if I was okay with people knowing that we we’re dating.

“Of course. But why do you think that I wouldn’t be okay with people knowing?” I asked to him. Is he afraid of someone telling his appa? I know that he isn’t really strict about things like this.

I could see him bite the inside of his cheek a little as he responded to me hesitantly, “Well, you know that I’m not the…. most popular person out there right? And you’re kind of on the top of the school’s food chain.”

What?! He’s worried about our social ranking at school? I could honestly care less about that. I was a little upset that he would even think that I wouldn’t be okay with it but I guess that I can understand him a little.

But I didn’t like his low self-esteem because I honestly thought that there was nothing wrong with his big thick nerdy glasses and messy brown hair. I actually found it a little cute! Now, he looks more handsome than Choi Siwon who is said to be the “face” of our school.

The only reason why I am “popular” in the school is because of my hyungs and my legendary appa. Appa’s real name is actually Youngwoon but there’s a reason why he got the name Kangin which means strong or strength. He wasn’t really a bully but he also wasn’t someone you wanted to mess with.

When Heechul was going here, he basically ruled the school with his confident yet fierce attitude. Yunho hyungs silent but cold look had all the girls swoon over him while Hyukjaes talent in dancing brought our school to first place in many competitions. Then here I came, the youngest brother with the cute and innocent look.

I was only popular by default from my hyungs.

I stopped in front of the entrance where everyone was still walking in and I gave him his answer by standing slightly on the tips of my toes to lean up and give him a light kiss on his lips. I felt him stiffen a little but then he slowly wrapped his arms around my waist.

Gasps were heard and things like “Who is that kissing Sungmin?” “Are those boys kissing?” and “Oh my god is that Cho Kyuhyun?” (And I could swear that I heard Ryeowook squeal)

But I didn’t care about what they were saying. I only cared about how long I will be able to pull this off without my face turning into a tomato.

It was only a short brush of the lips like how our first kiss was but I still could feel the shiver that ran through my body again. When I opened my eyes to see his reaction I couldn’t help but feel proud of myself.

His eyes were a little big in surprise while a small blush made its way across his face. But he had the brightest and silliest grin ever.

“Want me to walk you to class?” he asked me and I knew that even if I complained to him about being late to his period, he would still just walk with me anyway.

I already felt the blush on my face as he grabbed my hand and started to walk to my class with me, “Sure.”

I could barely hear the teacher talking at the front of my class because I was too busy thinking of my boyfriend.

‘I actually have a boyfriend!’ I couldn’t help but squeal in my head. The only thing that I can think of is Kyuhyun. How sweet he is towards me and how I didn’t notice him before.

You did notice him before, you just didn’t want to listen to me when I told you to go out with him. That stupid voice said in my head again but I chose to ignore it because it was right. I always thought of just deciding to go out with him but I didn’t know if he was joking or not.

“Hyung.”

Well he is like the prankster of our school….

“Hyung!”

But now I know that there’s more to him than just-

“HYUNG!” I heard a voice yell into my ear. I jumped in surprise and whipped my head around to yell at the person who blew out my eardrums just to see Ryeowook standing at the side of my desk while all the students started to walk out of class. Whoa is class over already?

“Class ended already hyung but you were too busy day dreaming about Kyuhyun to notice.” Wookie said with a little smirk tugging at the edges of his mouth.

A blush took over my face (I’m always blushing aren’t I? I’m surprise that my face isn’t permanently red) and I quickly denied it even though it was the truth, “No I was!”

…What?

Yesung and Wookie burst out into laughter at my fail at trying to lie. Stupid mouth!

“Just be quiet already!” I yelled at them while gathering my things and quickly exiting the class while their still laughing.

“Bye Kyu~” Yesung said teasing me while they tried to calm themselves down.

“I hope you guys are late to your next periods!” I yelled back at them already walking out of the door.

“We have a free period next!” They said in union. Ugh whatever’s!

I’m almost to the class that I share with Kyuhyun. I could still feel the stares of some people as I walked down the hallway but I paid no attention to it.

Walking into the class, I was disappointed to see that Kyuhyun wasn’t there yet. Scanning the room for a seat, I was surprise to see Hankyung sitting at the back by himself.

I quickly made my way to the back of the class and sat at the desk next to his. He looked up from his books and his eyes lit up “Sungmin!” He said with a small smile.

“Good morning Hankyung. I didn’t know that we had the same math period.” I said to him slowly knowing that his Korean still wasn’t that good.

He thought about his answer for a little bit and he looked so concentrated trying to pronounce it properly. “O-oh, they moved me to this uh… c-class just recently.” He said while looking at me expectantly. “Better?” He asked

I nodded happily and couldn’t help but giggle at they way his eyes lit up even more at knowing that he was improving.

I felt someone lean over my shoulder and kiss me lightly on my cheek. I relaxed but also turned red when I realized that it was Kyuhyun.

Eeeek don’t kiss me in front of everybody! So embarrassing…

This is coming from the guy who kissed Kyuhyun right in front of the gate at the school’s entrance?

Shut up!

Noticing my reaction Kyuhyun smirked and said “Hey princess~.”

I pouted and said, “My name is Sungmin not princess.”

He smirk got even wider as he said, “You will always be my princess.” I gave up and turned my face away from him trying to hide my red cheeks. When I turned my head, I could see Hankyung surprised face. Oh, I should introduce them!

I tugged Kyuhyuns hand and made him stand in front of Hankyung. “Kyuhyun, this is Hankyung. The exchange student from China that I was telling you about.” I said to Kyu. Then I turned to face Hankyung. “And this is Kyuhyun… my boyfriend.” I said with a bright smile.

I could see Hankyung processing what I told him and he grinned happily and brought out a hand for Kyuhyun to shake. “Good morning! My name is Hankyung and I… I am…” He started to fumble a little at his words “… I am a friend of Sungmin! Nice to meet you.”

Looking at Kyuhyun, I could see him trying not to laugh at Hankyung when he fumbled over his word. He shook his hand and said “Nice to meet you too.”

I’m just happy that they look like that they will get along.

A week has passed and Kyuhyun and I still walk hand in hand to school everyday and (squeals) kiss at the gate everyday.

Usually the only time that Kyuhyun and I would see each other during school is in math class and lunch. But Kyuhyun convinced his dad to switch his free period with another class so he could spend it with me. I could only laugh when he told me that.

Right now, were lying down close together under the tree where we first ate lunch with each other and we talked about all sorts of things.

“How about you tell me about your family Minnie?” He suggested while snuggling his face into my neck. I think that I officially have a permanent blush on my face since I first kissed Kyuhyun so I wasn’t surprised when I could feel my face heating up.

No matter how many times we hug or even touch, my body is just too sensitive to get use to the touch.

I hummed and then I started to talk, “My appa’s name is Youngwoon but everyone calls him Kangin. Even though people saw him as a bully, he was actually really sweet. He only beat up the people who were mean to Teukie-umma because he was gay. At that time, appa and Teukie-umma were just close friends. Appa got his girlfriend pregnant, who is my real umma, when he was only a freshmen in high school.” I paused when I felt him scrunch up his eyebrows.

“Kangin sounds really familiar…” He said while trailing off while he still cuddled his face into my neck. “You smell so good Minnie”

This kid! “Yah let me finish you y boy!” I said while trying to keep my red face to a minimum.

“Only for you” Oh my bunnies just ignore him.

“Anyways…  she gave birth to Heechul hyung who is the oldest. Even though he was a boy, hyung was really pretty. A lot of boys liked him and many girls were jealous of him growing up but he knew that it was only because of his looks and that upset him. So he developed an attitude to drive people away. Even though he had an attitude and wouldn’t put up with anything, people enjoyed being around him. He’s actually kind of socially- awkward and doesn’t know how to act around people. He’s 24 right now and is majoring in English and acting right now to go overseas.”

“Umma ended up getting pregnant again but this time, the baby wasn’t appa’s.  She cheated on him after she got drunk one night but the real father of her baby left so appa decided to take care and raise the baby himself. That’s Yunho hyung who is our half brother. Since he wasn’t fully blood related to us, he sort of shielded himself off from us thinking that he was too different. So he was usually the quiet one out of us but would quickly take action on people when they insulted his family. When umma left, we told him that he was our brother no matter what and he started to open up a little more. He’s 22 right now and majors in sports.”

“And you already met Hyukkie hyung. Umma and appa got back together again but their relationship was really unsteady. We rarely seen her but appa had to drop out of high school to support us by working day and night. That’s when Teukie-umma came in as a friend to watch us because our real umma was never there. That’s why Hyukjae is so attached to Teukie-umma, because he was the one who took care of us the most and hyung was young to remember our real umma. I don’t really remember her either. Hyukjae just turned 20 and is majoring in dancing right now and he runs the dancing studio in town.” I said but started feeling a little emotional at thinking of our real umma.

I think Kyuhyun noticed because he moved his head out from my neck to look at me in my eyes while he wrapped an arm around my waist to bring me in closer to him. We were on our sides facing each other laying down as I struggled to not cry.

I couldn’t help it though. They all had memories of umma but I didn’t because she left right after I turned a month old. I love my Teukie-umma but I wish that I could just see how our real umma looked like. Appa told me that she was really pretty and that’s how we gained our pretty features because he said that he gave us his handsomeness. Silly appa.

Without my consent, one tear escaped my eyes as I quickly tried wiping it away so that Kyu wouldn’t notice it. But it was too late.

He leaned to my face to kiss the tear away and he said softly, “Don’t cry my Minnie….” He brought his lip to meet mines and I felt his tongue slightly poke at my closed lips asking for entrance. This is our first time-sharing a kiss like this so I was a little nervous. I slightly opened my lips up and felt Kyus tongue slowly meet mine. I closed my eyes while the pain at remembering umma melted away because of Kyuhyun.

Kyuhyun…. I think that I’m starting to fall for you.

This chapter was sort of sad in the end but Kyu made it all better:) I was actually planning to make it all fluffy and happy when going into detail about Minnies family but I felt that I needed it to be a little serious. Hope you guys like it!
