With a sigh, Hyukjae opened the door to the studio and the other members were already practicing their solos that they had to prepare for tomorrows presentation. They both didn’t really want to separate but Donghae had to practice while Hyukjae had to help the other members.

Right before Donghae was going to thank him and go to a corner of the room, Hyukjae slowly and gently turned Donghae to face him.

“I’ll check on everyone’s routine and then I’ll come back to help with you with yours okay?” He asked wanting to become a little closer with him.

Donghae smiled and nodded.

Hyukjae grinned and whispered in his ear “By the way. Your looking really cute today Hae” He pulled away with a wink and jogged to Taemin to help him out while Donghae melted into a puddle of goo.

(Sungmin POV)

Kyuhyun and I walked together hand in hand on our way back to my house. We talked about all sorts of random things. The walk from the park to my house would take about 30 minutes but it didn’t bother us at all.

“So how is your appa and Hyesung?” I asked while we passed by a couple of houses. We already cleared up the misunderstanding with Kyuhyun and his first kiss. I can’t believe that I thought that he was lying to me but I’m glad that we solved everything.

Hyesung is a really good friend of Kyuhyuns appa and mistaken family love for romantic love when he first met Hyesung. But hey, he was like 12 years old.

“Things are” He paused “Getting complicated now.” Kyuhyun said.

“What do you mean?” I asked with curiously.

“It’s kind of a long story and I might be thinking too much into it but… “ He trailed off again looking a little unsure.

I squeezed his hand gently for encouragement while pecking him softly on his cheek. His face flushed a little and I couldn’t help but do it again. We stopped walking and Kyuhyun pulled us close to a tree so that we were at least hidden from the road. I gave him another kiss on his lips and he let go of our hands to wrap them around my waist.

He pulled me closer against him and my lips for entrance. While putting my hands on his chest and was about to open my mouth but then I realized something.

Why does this seem familiar?

Well, you just finished making out and basically ing in the park not too long ago so…

I quickly blushed and cursed inwardly at my teenage hormones for getting me all needy. I was pulling away from Kyuhyun and I heard him make a whining sound when I tried separating myself from him.

“K-Kyuhyun… we have to stop doing this!” I said while trying to pull away but Kyuhyun kept a tight hold on me and started placing light kisses on my neck.

“Doing what?” I heard him say against my neck while a shiver went down my back. I started to shiver a little when I felt his hands that were around my waist getting lower and lower. Oh my… what is with his obsession with my ???

“W-were in public doing this sort of thing… again!” I felt him pause in his kissing on my neck and I felt him pull away reluctantly. A pout was on his face and he lightly kissed my lips again.

“Then stop teasing me.” He said against my lips. I blushed really hard at this because yes. I was actually the one who started it this time. He noticed my blush and gave me his signature smirk while giving my a little squeeze before letting go and taking my hand in his.

“Well anyways, before someone interrupted me with his kisses.” He said while pulling me away from the tree onto the sidewalk while we made our way back to my house.

“Appa and Hyesung were arguing about this guy named Eric. Appa was starting to look angry while Hyesung was getting nervous. Something about Eric hurting Hyesung when they were going to school and I don’t really know the whole story. But that’s what I heard from easy dropping but the tension in the house is killing me. Like today, I was getting ready to go and whenever they made eye contact they look away from each other. And it’s just…. Bothering me!” He said while letting his frustration out.

“Did you ask them about it?” I asked him softly while giving his hand a reassuring squeeze. He shook his head. “Then you should ask when you get home.” I suggested. He sighed softly but gave me a smile and a nod.

He walked in confortable silence until Kyuhyun said, “Hey Minnie?” I hummed in response. “ What’s your appa like?” He asked.

“Well” I started, “Appa has done so much for me and my hyungs. Even though he was still a student in high school, he dropped out to work so that he could take care of us. When things started to look bad, he didn’t leave us like how our real umma did. He stayed with us and works day and night just to make sure we are taken cared for.”

“But he cares for us so much that he became really over protective after something happened with Heechul.” I said while trailing off a bit not really wanting to remember what happened.

Kyuhyun noticed this and said, “Do you want to talk about it? You don’t need to tell me.”

I shook my head but I didn’t want him to think that I didn’t trust him. I just didn’t want to talk about it. He gave me a reassuring smile and kissed my temple and he said, “Don’t worry about it.”

The walk was again in a comfortable silence for a few minutes until Kyuhyun said something that almost had me stopping in my tracks.

“I want to meet the rest of your family as your boyfriend.” He said while looking at me but I was avoiding his eyes.

I knew that this was coming. He already met Hyukjae and Teukie-umma as my boyfriend but how about the rest of them. I didn’t respond to him so he took it as a chance to keep on talking.

“I know what you’re thinking. That they’re too protective and that your appa and hyungs will hurt me but I think that it is way more better that to stall more time.”

“…You already got punched from Yunho. And he thinks that we’re only friends. Imagine of what he will do if he finds out that you’re my boyfriend. Same goes for Heechul and appa.” I said quietly but I knew that he could hear me.

They actually weren’t this bad before. They started to get really overprotective after the whole situation with Heechul and his stalker.

Yunho, Hyukjae, Heechul and I were just kids when it happened. Heechul was about 15 when he started getting these weird letters from a ‘secret admirer’. It was different from all his other fan letters because this one had a small poem and a picture attached to it in every letter that he got daily.

We didn’t pay too much attention to it because we probably thought that it was just another crush. But then one day when Heechul got the letter in his locker he was really shaken up and ran to Yunho who was about 13 in middle school. It was a picture of Heechuls window from outside while he and I was sleeping. They came and got Hyukkie and me from school and ran home. Appa had to work until late that night so we were home by ourselves. Teukie and appa wasn’t together yet so he wasn’t living with us.

We were all hurdled up in appa’s bedroom when we heard the knocking of the door. I thought that it was appa so I ran to the door while ignoring the calls of my hyungs. I could hear them running after me but I already opened the door to see a stranger instead of my appa. I was about to scream but then he grabbed me and pulled me out of the house while slamming the door shut.

I could remember hearing my hyungs screaming but the man was already dragging me to his van. They finally got to the door but they were far behind the man and me whose car was already on. He was about to throw me in until the man was flung across the driveway.

Teukie ran towards me and I realized that it was appa who threw the guy. I couldn’t really remember what happened but appa almost killed the guy. He just kept punching and punching even after the guy knocked out. It took Heechul, Yunho and Teukie to peel him off.

Umma, appa and my hyungs cried that night. They were all scared that I was almost taken away. From that day on, they spoiled me and gave me anything I wanted. But I guess the trauma of me getting hurt and taken away impacted them.

But if umma and Hyukkie was able to accept that I had a boyfriend. Maybe the rest of my hyungs and appa can accept it too.

I really care about Kyuhyun. And I really care about my family too. I have to do this. He makes me happy and I want to be with him. I don’t want to hide out relationship from my family.

“But I want you to meet them…” I said to Kyuhyun.

“How about when I drop you off?” He suggested.

“No! I want to prepare them first.” I said quickly. I have to at least tell them that I have a boyfriend. I don’t think that they will be able to handle it if I were to introduce Kyuhyun to them at the same time.

He gave me a bright smile and stole a kiss from my lips. “Okay.” He said. I giggled when he kissed my nose too. He’s such a weirdo!

“Kyuhyun!” I whined as he kept showering my face with kisses. I gently pushed him away from me because I could already see my house. I pulled Kyuhyun to the side where my hyungs wouldn’t be able to see and brought my arms around his neck to kiss him on his lips. It was only a fast peck though because we didn’t want to get caught.

“Bye Minnie.” He said with a smile as we pulled away.

“Bye Kyu.” I said back to him with my own smile. He ruined our romantic moment when he gave my a little squeeze and quickly backed away when I tried to hit him. “Kyuhyun!”

He gave me a wink and his stupid smirk while he walked in the other direction.

Stupid handsome ert!

I made my way to the door and knocked on it waiting for someone to let me in. I was surprised to see Heechul hyung.

“Hyung!” I squealed while jumping on him. I could hear him chuckle a bit while he returned my hug. He pulled me into the house so that we could catch up.

I didn’t notice it before but he’s looking a little pale and he has slight dark rings around his eyes. He tried to conceal his coughing but I could tell right away.

“Hyung you’re sick!” I said with worry in my eyes. He just rolled his eyes but nodded his head anyways. “From when?” I asked.

He gave a sigh and said, “Since last week. I only got home today so that we could have thanksgiving together but I feel like I’m dying!” He then noticed the worried look in my face so he gave me a weak smile and said, “Nah I’m fine. You know how I am when I’m sick.” I was still unsure but I nodded anyways.

We were sitting in the living room talking with each other, trying to catch up on the past year since we saw each other. Even though he was sick, hyung was beautiful as always. His milky white skin was paler than before but it still made him glow. His shoulder length dark hair was pulled into a ponytail and even though his eyes had bags under them, his big but feline-like brown eyes still sparkled.

He and I were the only ones home because everyone else didn’t get back yet until we heard the front door open to see Yunho walk in with a duffle bag. We already saw each other earlier but I don’t think that he seen Heechul yet by the way his eyes lit up.

“Hyung!” He said with his deep voice as he placed his bags on the floor to sweep Heechul off the couch into his arms. He was literally carrying Heechul off the floor and I couldn’t help but laugh as Heechul hyung squeaked and yelled at Yunho to put him down.

Still with Heechul in his arms, he sat on the couch and sat Heechul on his lap while he wrapped his arms around his waist while mumbling, “I miss you,” Into Heechuls neck.

Now don’t be alarmed! This might look seriously weird to other people but our family was raised really close. We had absolutely no problem with skin ship.

Heechul rolled his eyes but he couldn’t hide his smile as he returned the hug saying, “Yeah, yeah I miss you too. Now let go of me, I’m sick.” Yunho reluctantly let him go but placed an arm around his shoulder.

“Hyung, I thought you left before me.” I said to Yunho because he got home later than I did.

“I was going to go and get Hyukjae but he called to say that he was at practice so I went around the mall to look around for a little.” He said. But he had a questioning look in his eyes and I couldn’t help but get nervous.

“We’re going to talk about this later.”

Were his words before he left Kyuhyun and me. I just hope he doesn’t bring it up in front of Heechul. I plan on telling them but I want to do it with them all here. I sent him a look saying Later.

He nodded his head and went back to listening to Heechul talk.

Heechul was talking about what he was doing when he got back and about how his friend was letting him stay at his house for a little. But he paused in the middle of his sentence like he was remembering something and a slight blush made its way to his cheeks.

He patted his pockets down and pulled out a letter that had his handwriting on the envelope. He looked nervous while looking at Yunho. “Um, can you do hyung a favor?” He asked Yunho without meeting any of our eyes.

“Of course I can.” Yunho said without hesitation.

“I need you to give this to…. my friend at the library tomorrow.” Heechul said.

Yunho and I narrowed our eyes suspiciously at his odd behavior. Friend? What kind of friend is this to make him blush like that?

Yunho must have had the same thoughts as me because he said, “A friend?”

“Yeah.” He replied.

“What kind of friend?” I asked with suspicion.

“Just a friend.” He said quickly.

“Is this friend a guy or girl?” I asked another question.

“A guy. I think that he’s an exchange student because he has a Chinese accent. Since I got sick, I couldn’t go to the library to see him.” Heechul said softly while he tried to fight the blush that was trying to get darker on his face.

Wait.

Chinese exchange student? No way.

Hankyung?

I then remembered what Hankyung told us about his ‘princess’ that he met at the library and how he hadn’t seen him since last week.

I wanted to ask Heechul more about this ‘friend’ but I changed my mind as I saw an unreadable look in Yunho’s eyes. He was silent for a little but then he nodded and said,

“Okay.”

Heechul and I both looked surprised at how easy it was. To be honest, I was expecting a bunch of questions from Yunho but I guess not. The atmosphere was pretty uncomfortable after that. I couldn’t stop thinking if Hankyung was the one, Heechul was slightly regretting asking Yunho and Yunho had a dark look in his eyes as he held the letter in his hand.

Holy crap it is Hankyung!

Luckily, someone was knocking on the door and I quickly stood up (beating Heechul) and ran to the door saying, “I’ll get it!”

When I opened the door, my eyes widened as I saw the person standing outside. He had my school bag and books in his hands with a friendly smile on his face.

Hankyung.
