Chorong sighed.

What now? She thought as she recognized Yosoeb’s voice calling her.

“Bomi-ah, shall we eat together?” He looked at her hopefully. “Chorong and Woohyun have to take their punishment for being late, so…”

Oh, right! I forgot about that, she thought. And Hayoung is nowhere to be found…

“Okay,” she replied with a small smile.

“Why are you so slow?” Woohyun teased Chorong as they ran around the field.

She glared at him and he chuckled. “Run with me, you’ll be faster that way,” he said as he held her hand.

“Leave me alone!” she said as she struggled to free her hand from his grasp.

He ignored her and pulled her closer and suddenly, he felt her body go limp as she fell into his embrace.

“Chorong-ah!” He looked at her and realized that she had fainted.

He immediately carried her and ran to the infirmary.

Chorong woke up to see Bomi’s worried face staring at her.

“Ne, I’m fine now,” she replied, “I just didn’t take breakfast today, that’s why I fainted.”

Bomi hugged her friend, “I was so worried when I saw Woohyun carry you here!”
