“Wasn’t it hard for you to be here?”

A familiar old lady’s voice came into the picture, causing the girl with brown locks turned her gaze toward  the lady. A smile appeared in her face - still the same smile that the lady adored for years, eventhough she always did wonder how the younger girl could manage to smile in such a heartbreaking situation. “Evening, grandma. What’s make you here this late?” The younger asked her without doubt, a glimpse of cheerful still could be heard in her voice.

“I should be the one who asked you that, Chorongah.”

Chorong smiled helplessly as she stared to the grandma who shared the bench with her. Her gaze turned upon the empty basketball court, as she let out a deep sigh. It used to be crowded at this hours, her brother’s mate would be here to spent their quality time. Yet, she could only find an empty court now – an abandoned one. “You shouldn’t be her too often, it would remind you of him again.” The lady warned her. She turned to face the lady with a smile, “It’s okay, I’m fine grandma.” She replied.

“It’s been a year already.”
