The truth is it wasn't easy for jongin to push aside all of his woks.

Even he tried to finish all his files by bring them home and sometime he would ask to his president for a break time (he already asked once, but his boss didn't let him to have a break more than a week.)  He still couldn't spent a lot time at home and taking a good care of his wife. Sometime, he thought about leaving the job but the next he would think of how could they live if he resigned. The guy desperately ruffling his hair, trying to focus on his unfinished files laying in front of his working desk.

'Jongin-ssi, aren't you suppose to be home at this hour?'

His working partner, yookyung, asked him. She had been working together with him for almost a year now and she helped him a lot. If he weren't able to finish all his files, yookyung would be there to help him with it. She even cover for him when he has an urge to come home early. 'I'll finish this file first, it's almost done,' replied him as he continued to check on the files page after pages.

'Your wife must be waiting for you, you know.'

No reply. So, the woman shook her head and she returned back to her own work.

A few moments later, his phone which he placed on the desk vibrated and it flashed the name which he never thought wouldn't last there for a second. Oh sehun, wrote clearly on the screen. It already a long time ago when sehun called him, he remembered the hatred on his stoic face after the incident happened. Jongin gulped, knowing that something wasn't right the moment he answered the call and hearing the voice over the other end of line.

'You promised me, jongin.'

'You promised me to take a good care of her.'

Jongin noticed ethe trembles in sehun's voice and he pushed back his files before glancing to Yookyung who gave him a couple round of nods. 'W-what happened?' asked him. He was afraid, afraid if something might happened to her while he was busy dealing with his files until this late. The guy run to the basement with all his might as he opened his car and started the engine. Sehun didn't bother to reply him, instead jongin  could hear an unclear sobs over the other line.

'Sehun, tell me what happened!'

In the end, he yelled.

'Hospital. She was in icu right now.'

And it hit him hard, knowing that it was his fault again this time. He broke his promise to Sehun, he broke his promise to her, and more over he broke his promise to himself. Jongin promised that he wouldn't let her harming herself anymore. The scene after the mi
