“Brother In-law” Chanyeol shouted while waving his hands when he saw Donghae and Jinri by the entrance of the cinema. When she realized that her husband to be is there, Sooyeon cursed under her breath and tried to hide behind her tall brother but to no avail since the latter was moving a lot. The couple couldn’t even look at each other, running away failed miserably, because as soon as they entered the cinema, their siblings made them sit next to each other and share pop corn.

                Sooyeon tried her best to focus on the movie and not to pay any attention to him, but sitting so close to him, she could even smell his perfume so thinking of anything else was an impossible task. Donghae on the other hand was lost in his thoughts, he was still contemplating his feelings and trying to understand what was going on with him. He was sure it’s not love, but it’s not hate or friendship either.     

                “What is wrong with you two?” Soojung asked as they were exiting the cinema finally realizing the tension between the couple. They kept their distance while they’d usually hold hands or at least walk closely.

“Nothing” they chorused immediately shoving away any possibility of something being wrong with their awkward smiles. Soojung decided to let it off, maybe they were just tired, but when they didn’t even hug or kiss while parting ways, her suspicions were confirmed, something did happen between the two.

“Unnie, what happened between you two? I know something is wrong, tell me, tell me,tell me” Soojung kept squeaking in the car annoying her sister that didn’t want to say anything.

Jinri was bothering her brother too, in a nicer way, she asked him if he fought with Sooyeon, only to get a “I don’t know” and a request to be left alone.

                From that day, they didn’t contact each other at all, Sooyeon simply took a break from the preparations until her car was fixed and finished them on her own. The time off gave them the occasion to think of their feelings, each side finally realized that they had a crush on the other but they were oblivious of their counterpart’s feelings. Weeks flew quickly and it was time for them to vow to spend the rest of their life together, lies lies lies.

                The hall was mainly decorated in white, with slight touches of crème and beige, and just like their home it screamed classy. While the bridesmaids- that were none other than Taeyeon ,Krystal and Jinri-wore silky beige dresses, the men of honor –composed of Leeteuk, Eunyhuk and Chanyeol- wore black suits with beige ties. But the best outfit of the day certainly went to Sooyeon, her dress was simply marvelous. The collar was heart shaped, and the dress was quite tight from the chest to the hips but very ample on the lower part. It wasn’t too fluffy, but the crème bow on the side of her hip made it so pretty, in all honesty, the dress was similar to Blair Waldorf’s wedding dress; they were made by the same stylist actually. Instead of having her hair down as usual, she ditched the veil and had her hair arranged in a nice bun with a small tiara on the side so all the attention could be brought on her beautiful face and the expensive necklace she was wearing. Her goal was surely accomplished.

As she was walking through the aisle, she couldn’t help but clutch to her father’s arm, If she could run away without bringing shame to her family, she would’ve done, but unfortunately it is not possible.

“Take care of my princess” Mr. Jung whispered to Donghae as he handed his daughter’s hand to Donghae who took it gently as if it was an egg about to crack. Only then did he realize how much he missed her, how much he missed her touch, her scent… Just thinking about this made him blush, while he never does. He caressed her hands while the priest was speaking in hope that she’d look at him, but she pretented that she was shy just so she could run away from his eyes without raising any suspicion.  It was only by the vows that Sooyeon finally looked at him, he isn’t good at reading people’s emotions through their eyes, in fact he’s quiet thick usually, but at that time, it was obvious that she was scared, of him? Their future? That he didn’t know.

Finally it was time for them to seal their marriage with a kiss, Donghae was afraid that would make things even more difficult, so he whispered “I’m sorry” before brushing his lips lightly with hers, it was probably the sweetest kiss he ever gave to someone, sweet enough to please all the compressed desires and make him forget how much he missed her over the past ten days.

After parting their lips she smiled cutely at him sending his brains to Mars while saying “It’s okay, really”. Putting his hand on her back, they slowly exited the church so they could depart to the hotel where the party was held.

As soon as they got in the car, Donghae apologized again about what he did the last time.

“I’m telling you, it’s totally fine, things like that happen” she reassured him. Sooyeon didn’t want things to be awkward again; she missed him so much so if throwing away the past accident could get them back to normal then she’d do it.

“So how does it feel to be a married man?”

“Honestly, I don’t feel like anything changed.”

Well for the time being, they haven’t experienced anything as a couple, the real married life would surely start when they move in together, or maybe during the honey moon, well that’s what they thought.

But during the reception, they finally felt the burden to be married; anyone would just speak about married couple problems, children, cheating husbands…. One woman even dared to tell them on their wedding night “I was so happy on my wedding too, but ten months later, I was already divorced, Sooyeon-shi keep an eye on him. He may say he loves you, but if you don’t give him what he wants and needs he’ll go look after it somewhere else, you know what I mean”
