I sat up on my bed looking at my alarm clock placed on my night stand. It would go off in about another 5 minutes. I woke up early today to the pleasant sound of birds chirping and not the once usual noise of car's honking on busy streets. It was a much nicer and healthier way of waking up in the morning. I smiled sadly to myself thinking back to the reason of why I was here in the first place and the images of that day inevitably flashed through my mind. I stood up quickly and shook my head as if to get rid of the bad thoughts and scaring images.

Walking towards the window I glanced at my alarm clock, 4 minutes to go. I pulled the curtains aside letting the sun's heat enter my room. I then opened the window and could now hear the birds singing more clearly. The smell of the fresh morning breeze overwhelmed me, it was all so beautiful. I stood there for sometime thinking of my life as it was and was thankful that just as I reached the important unanswered questions my alarm went off.

Hurrying to my night stand I put it off. "Jonghyun wake up! Its Monday morning and the first day at your new school" my mother called out from down stairs. "Yes" was all I said in reply.
