I bit my lip at the state she was in. She was soaking wet, her clothes sticking to her thin frame as she lay curled on her side. Blueish purple lips stood out like daylight on her pale, sullen face. Tremors racked her figure, emphasizing the effect that the cold rain had on her body. Her eyes were glued shut in a restless sleep.

I took off my rain jacket and draped it over her. I sat down beside her and called the others; I waited for Leeteuk and Kangin, holding my umbrella over her head, still feeling guilty of what I had caused. I moved a bunch of hair out of her face and jumped back by how cold she was. This wasn't good...

A cab pulled up in front of me and Leeteuk and Kangin leapt out, running over to us.

"Is she okay?" Leeteuk asked frantically.

"I'm fine, hyung, thanks for asking," I scoffed, earning a glare from the leader in response. I huffed and replied, getting up from the bench, "I don't know, but we need to get her back to the dorms...fast. She's freezing cold." They both nodded and we carried her inside the cab, instructing the driver to get us back to the dorms as soon as possible.

By the time we stepped inside my dorm, the others were already there and waiting. Apparently, I didn't lock the door...again. Kangin carried Mei Ling over to the couch, but before he could lay her down, her eyes fluttered open.

"Mei Ling-ah! Are you okay?" he asked as she looked up at him weakly. She looke around the room, taking in her surroundings. She then shivered.

"It cold..." she said.

"Why don't you go take a warm bath?" Eunhyuk suggested. "Being in the rain for that long isn't good." She nodded and Kangin took her to the bathroom, where Leeteuk filled up the tub for her. I was surprised by how much the others cared for her. Did she really manage to befriend them all that quickly? As far as I knew, she's only talked to them all together, once...but I did hear them all laughing from my room. They seemed like one happy family...But I decided to isolate myself...all because of my anger... I thought back. All this time, I had been mad at Hankyung, but I took out my frustration on Mei Ling...all because she took up his room reminding me of my feelings...I needed to forget them...to cast aside the past and move on with my life...He would probably want me to do that, like he himself had done...I let out a whoosh of air. Boy, did I have one big apology to give...

Leeteuk and the other members went back to their rooms to clean up and get some more rest, with the order that if something happened to alert them immediately. I went to my room to come up with what I was going to say to Mei Ling when she came out...I couldn't believe I was doing this... Heechul, where in the world was your pride?

MEI LING POV:

I sighed as the warm water reached my neck, instantly warming up my frozen limb, causing them to tingle. This extreme temperature change couldn't be good for the body, but I didn't care at the moment. I just relaxed and let the heat course through the pores in my skin. The steamy air reminded me of a sauna and I sighed again. It felt so good to feel warmth again after that drench. Leeteuk and Kangin both informed me of what happened while my bath was being prepared.

-Flashback-

"Please don't ~ again! You scared us!" Leeteuk exclaimed.

"Sorry. Heechul-hyung not want me here. He mad about I did..." I replied softly.

"What ~ you do?" Kangin asked. I sighed and repeated exactly what happened to the both of them.

"I think ~ Heechul-ah felt ~ bad ~ saying ~ to you," Leeteuk said. "He ~ very scared ~ found you ~ not in your room. He called me ~ three o'clock ~ morning. We ~ look for you ~ two hours. Heechul-ah ~ found you, ~ take care ~ you ~ we came."

"I think Heechul-hyung ~ confused,"  Kangin said. "He usually ~ not ~ person. He ~ mad often, yes, but ~ very nice ~ caring. He just doesn't ~ show. I think ~ Hankyung-hyung ~ getting to him ~ too much."

"Give him ~ time," Leeteuk said. "Like I said, Heechul-ah ~ one ~ took care ~ you ~ we came. I think ~ he doesn't ~ mean ~ he said."
