"Who is she?" Heechul asked again in a slurry voice, directing the question this time at Leeteuk, who was supporting him, his right arm draped over the leader's shoulders; Siwon mirrored him on Heechul's left. Heechul began laughing and pointing at non-existent things in the air.

"Is he drunk?" I asked, bewildered at the proud "diva's" state. Leeteuk nodded grimmly.

"Yes, Ryeowook-ah found him bar at other end city. For once, I glad Ryeowook-ah drink so much," he explained.

"Do you need help?" I inquired, eyeing Heechul's unsteady swaying motions in between them. Both looked like they had dragged him all the way back from the bar and were about to collapse.

"We put him in bed. You look after him? Please?" Leeteuk asked.

"Sure," I replied.

I sat on the edge of Heechul's bed as he slept, occasionally mumbling incoherent phrases under his breath; Leeteuk was making some very strong coffee while Siwon was decked out on the couch, exhausted. I admired the two of them. They cared so much for their friend, searching high and low throughout the entire day for him. How I wished I had friends that cared that much for me...

"Hankyung-ah..." Heechul mumbled. "Why ~ no talk ~ me ...? I ~ hurt ~ ..." I caught a few words that slipped past his lips. His face twisted into an expression whiched stated a word that I would never have used to describe him:

Vulnerable.

I shook my head; if Heechul wasn't willing to tell me, I'll find out myself. If no one else will do anything, I will. He'll be eaten away by his emotions if this keeps up...

The door opened and a very tired-looking Leeteuk stepped into the room, carrying a steaming mug in his hands.

"Here, give ~ Heechul-ah ~ wake up," he said. I nodded and stood up as he placed it on the nightstand.

"Jungsu-hyung, you go home. Sleep. Siwon-hyung, too,"  I said to him. He shook his head.

"I can't ~ care ~ Heechul-ah ~ ..." he replied, sustaining a yawn. I raised an eyebrow. "Okay, okay ~ I ~ go ~." I smiled.

"Sleep, I care Heechul-hyung," I assured him as he left.

Once they both went back to their dorms, I locked the door after them and went back to Heechul's room. Thankfully, he was still asleep. I picked up his cellphone that was laying beside the coffee mug and flipped it open. Everything was in Korean. I swore silently before quietly taking the device to my room.

Pulling out the Korean-English dictionary that was stashed under my pillow, I flipped through it, trying to find words to match the words on the screen. I finally found the contacts list and was thrilled to see that the name I was looking for was written in both Korean and Chinese. I quickly wrote the number down and quietly returned Heechul's cellphone to its original place. Locating the dorm phone, I dialed the number I recently found and held my breath. It rang and rang. I sighed and pulled the phone away from my ear.

"Hello?" a distant voice answered. I slammed the phone back onto my ear  so hard I saw stars.

"Ow..." I whimpered. "Uh, hello? Um, is this Hangeng?"

"Yes..." he replied. "Who are you?"

"Um..." I hesitated. Maybe this wasn't such a smart idea... I didn't even bother to remember that my existence here was supposed to be secretive... Well, too late now.

"Hello?"

"Okay, my name is Mei Ling. I talked to you a few days ago before you talked to Heechul."

"Oh, you're that girl that Heechul is sharing his dorm with, right? Mei Ling, that's a Chinese name. Are you Chinese, too?" he asked.

"Yes, and yes, sort of. I am half Chinese," I replied. At least I remembered something about myself. Stupid amnesia... Relief swept over me like an ocean breeze; Heechul had deemed him trustworthy enough to share my secret with. However, it was short-lived as his voice changed to a dark, serious tone.

"I really should not be talking to you," he said.

"What? But...Huh?" I was so confused. What was his problem? "I just wanted to ask you why you won't talk to Heechul? He just passed out from too much alcohol and he was mumbling something about you avoiding him."

"Not again. Tell Heechul that I think he's sick and I never want to see him again!"

"...What...?"

"Listen, I really have to go and I don't want to hear from you again, okay? This is for his own good." The line went dead. I stood frozen with the phone still against my ear, the recorded voice telling me to hang up. What... just happened?!
