HEECHUL POV:

I laid wide awake on my bed, staring up at the ceiling. My head was pounding, but I couldn't sleep. Donghae sat in the living room; Leeteuk probably set him here to watch over me. Did he think I was two?

"Don't bother Hangeng anymore..."  That woman's words echoed in my head. Who the hell did she think she was? She didn't have the right to tell me that. Heck, she didn't have the right to tell me to do anything! And Hankyung... did he really change his number? Or did that  just make that up? I picked up my cellphone from the nightstand and scrolled through the contacts until I reached his number.

My mind and my body both fought against each other until I gave up and closed my phone. I did not was to hear that his number wasn't in service from the other end of the phone; that would only break me further... But if I didn't try, how would I know?

"Aish!" I sighed in frustration. Why did I care so much?! I thought back to my past, since I was little.

-Flashback_

"Heechul-ah, you're so weird! What's wrong with getting a little sweaty? Soccer is the best sport ever!"

"Forget it, Dae-Ho-ah, he only wants to play pebbles with the girls!" They both ran off laughing.

"Heechul-oppa, why don't you just go play soccer with the other normal boys? I'm sure it'd be much more fun than sitting here with us."

*****************************

"Heechul-ah! Why aren't you practicing your music or doing you homework?! You can play with your friends another time!"

-End of Flashback_

I sighed. Maybe that was why...

-Flashback-

"...Hi... My name Hangeng-er-Hankyung..."

"Heechul-ah, you funny..."

"Heechul-ah, you will always be my best friend..."

I sighed again. Hankyung was the first true friend I ever had... Everyone always thought I was weird or socially awkward as I never liked doing what other people did. To them, being different automatically labelled you as "weird." Hankyung, however, was the first person to accept me right from the start. Our bond quickly developed as time passed. We always had each other's backs and we knew each other like the palms of our hands. Needless to say, we became inseparable...

But that all changed...

-Flashback-

"Heechul-ah, I sorry... but I leaving Super Junior..."

"What?!"

"I sorry, but I can't stay here... It too hard and I can't survive it all..."

"But-"

"I sorry..."

-End of Flashback-

He had developed gastritis and signs of kidney disease from all of the stress and overwork. I did have to admit, SM did not treat him as well as they should have and it was probably best that he went back to China... but that was not an excuse to cut off all ties with us after the lawsuit ended.

I wanted so badly to go back in time and re-live all the great memories we had together, and stay there...

Unbroken...

With a newfound drive, I picked up my phone and found his name. After a moment of hesitation, I clicked the dial button and held it up to my ear, biting my lip in the process. My heart soared when the phone began to ring.

"Hello?" an unfamiliar voice answered. I furrowed my brow.

"Hi, is Hangeng there?" I asked.

"Sorry, I think you have the wrong number..."

"Oh, sorry," I replied, confused, and hung up. I looked at my phone and face-palmed myself. I had selected the name below Hankyung, which I barely remember who it belonged to. Cursing at myself for my stupidity, I deleted the number and carefully selected Hankyung's name and pressed the dial button. I lifted it to my ear just in time to hear,

"Sorry, this number is no longer in service..."

DUN DUN DUN......!  Hangeng, you did NOT just do that! XD I am going camping in a day or two, so I won't be able to update for a few days or up to a week. Are you guys okay with me leaving it at a cliffhanger? Nah, I'm not that mean XD ...most of the time [This is one of those times] haha
