Chapter 30

The next day when L woke up, he felt pain all over his body. He didn’t have to marry Su Won now but things weren’t becoming good as he expected. At least, he didn’t do well. He thought a rest would help him but apparently not. He was in his normal sad mood.. L got up lazily and sat on the bed with blanket half covered his body. He leaned back to the head of his bed. It was only 4 o’clock. He stared at the black sky through his bedroom. The thought of their first date played in his head. He remembered her twinkling eyes that sparked like stars. He remembered the features of her face vividly. Those not too small eyes, her high nose, the rosy lips and the cheeks that he used to give kisses.  And after that, it was the first time, their bodies and souls combined to one another.

                                    The second time they had.. wait… That night he remembered Noel cried. He remembered that the sparks in her eyes were gone, replaced with those sad aura…

“What happened, Noel? Why did you leave me? Why were you acting such in a strange behavior that night? Why you were so cold that night? Why were you trembling so hard? What was the thing that frightened you? I wanted to know the reason that made you cried. Was it me that who made you so miserable? I should’ve treated you better. I regretted the time when I spent with another girl instead of being with you. If I spent more time with you, will things be different now? Was I the guy who can’t give you nothing but tears? Did you know the problem of me and Su Won? Was it that it turn you away?
