“Unnie are you sure you don’t feel like going out. We could go for ice cream~” Minzy said against the closed doors of her eldest unnie’s room.

It was a Sunday night where Dara was out with Minho for dinner to make it up to him for Youngbae’s mistake while Chaerin was with Jiyong since Saturday night. Of course the maknae knew better than to disturbed the seemed-normal couple for it was normal for Chaerin to be ‘kidnapped’ for the night and not return for the next before appearing in school, that is if they didn’t have a ‘wild’ night of that everyone thought was what kept the couple from even going to school on Monday when their supposed night was on Saturday. Only Bom knew that the second day was always the day that Jiyong would be extremely good to their leader like he was treating her like a princess after she suffered in the demon’s hands for the whole night.

“Go on with Dae and Seungri but remember your curfew.” Bom replied in her room.

“Unnie are you sure you would be fine?”

“Yes Minzy. Enjoy yourself outside!”

“Neh unnie. If you ever need something or even want to join us, just drop me a message or call alright? Mingkki would be at your service 24/7!”

“Run along!”

With that, Minzy got her sling bag and although she was really worried about her unnie, Bom was the one who mentioned that she would be fine and on top of that the boys or rather Daesung has asked her out since Seungri was busy hanging out with Joon at the snooker room tonight, she thought it would be nice if she go out and enjoy the night breeze instead of staying in the dorm. She didn’t know if it was because of the words she exchanged with Bommie earlier on she suddenly felt really thirsty and decided to drop by the convenient store nearby to get something to drink before meeting Daesung at the playground nearby.

“Annyeonghasaeyo!” The bubbly girl greeted the shop keeper who was twice the size of her and came off intimidating to her especially with those tattoos.

“Annyeonghasaeyo~” The guy greeted with a low voice, surprising Minzy that although he sounded like he was bored with his job and on top of that he look like he was someone from the gangs and have at least 10 ‘brothers’ under him, he still greeted her.

Since she was really thirsty and that was the main reason why she was here at the convenient shop, Minzy immediately head towards the fridge where the drinks are displayed. She had told herself that she would just grab any drink she can since she as too thirsty but now that she is standing in front of more than 30 types of drinks that would quench her thirst, she was spoiled with choices. She was still thinking hard when she suddenly heard something that stole her attention.

Turning to one of the lanes that couldn’t be seen from the cashier area, she saw the back view of a guy she found really familiar. The person was in black track pants and black hoodie, topping his fashion with a black beanie over his blonde hair. Wait is that blonde that is picking out of this beanie? And that familiar physic that she seems to know of…could that be?!!

Before she could even answer her question, it seems like the shop keeper have noticed the pickpocket and shouted at him, shocking the guy as he pulled his beanie all the way down, lifting his hood up before he run towards Minzy’s direction away from the shopkeeper who was on the other side of the lane. When the guy was running towards her, she could see that it wasn’t an ordinary beanie that he use to cover his hair and face but there were two holes that thief robbing the banks are usually illustrated with for him to look at where he was going.

However it seems like luck wasn’t on his side when he and Minzy ended up being surrounded by a group of tough boys. Seems like Minzy was right in guessing that the guy, who was the shopkeeper must have been involved in gangs. She was still shocked and absorbed in finding that not only did his body size, his hair and now his eyes was so familiar when something, or rather someone knocked against her for her to jolt out of her thoughts. She and the guy had their backs against one another while the gang of boys surrounded them against the fridge stacked with water, beers and even ice cream in a semi circle shape.

“I knew you would appear someday!” The shopkeeper said fiercely, walking through the middle of the semi circle where the boys gave him way by opening a gap then join their human wall around the two of them again now that their supposed leader is in front of the guy confronting him.

“So you are the one making things difficult for my mother? For causing her trouble every time you stole huh?” He asked and although those were not diverted to Minzy she was intimidated.

Waving a finger in the air, everything happened too fast for Minzy to realize that two of the boys were pulling her by her arm, lifting her up until her leg was dangling in the air while the rest charge to the boy and started kicking and punching him in every way. The man groaned in pain as he rolls on the floor, curled into a ball with his arms hugging his stomach to block off all blows until the leader gives them a sign to stop before they back away from the writhing boy.

“Who are you?” The shopkeeper asked and pulling the beanie away from his head and discarding it far away on the floor, the man was revealed to be the same person as minzy thought it was going to be, even if there isn’t a motive for him to do so.

There he was on the floor with bruise around his body and face with even blood from the side of his lips. However he wasn’t hurt to the state that he couldn’t be recognized by Minzy. She could see that he was looking at her with shame but still the pain was too much for him to handle as he groan and cough again. The leader then went forward and pull Daesung up by his hair, making him moan as he wrap his hands around the leader’s trying to ease the pain in his scalp as he sat up.

“Well well well you look quite good looking but not poor. Besides I might not have study a lot but could still recognize those designer brands on you so spit now! What are you doing this for?!!” He asked but Daesung showed no signs of giving in.

“So you would rather keep silence huh? Alright then lets’ see how you keep your silence when the police arrive!” The shopkeeper said but before he could put it into action he was stopped by the struggling girl by the side.

“Wait!!!” She shouted making everyone look at her. She knew if the police was going to come and get Daesung, his parents would surely disown him and maybe Daesung wasn’t stealing anything at all even if she saw it with her own eyes. She just couldn’t let her oppa go through all of this.

“Young lady I’m sorry we were holding you up. Boys let her go.” The shopkeeper said but Minzy stop him in his place again.

“No don’t let me go. I was the one who planned all of this. I was the one who have been stealing from the shop and causing trouble for your mother. I promise to head to the police station with you but let the boy go.” She said.

“You…you two are together?” The shopkeeper asks, looking at them and hesitating if he should believe the girl’s words or not.

“He didn’t do anything. He’s just my cover. As the main person behind this, I would take the responsibility so let him go.” Minzy pleaded, confusing everyone more for it wasn’t normal for thieves to confess and most of the time they should be happy there was a scapegoat so that they can be free.

“Hyung so who is the one who has been stealing?” one of the brothers ask.

“I was the one. Let’s just go to the police already alright?” Minzy said.

“Aish just bring the two of them. The police would settle it from there. Let’s go!”  He said before the both of them were pulled out of the shop by two guys each, another one staying back at the counter to help out while the others all tagged along with the leader.

On their way to the police station, Daesung kept his head down the whole time while Minzy was glancing between the world passing by out of the window and at Daesung. She just couldn’t figure out why Daesung was doing such a thing. It wasn’t as if his family wasn’t doing well for him to want to steal something from a small convenient shop. Could it be that something has happened to his family? Are they facing any financial crisis? But if something was to happen there have to be symptoms right?

“Didn’t you hear me?!! Get out now!” One of the ‘brothers’ said breaking Minzy out of her trance to notice that everyone but her was already standing outside, Daesung had his arms locked behind his back still refusing to make eye contact with her and the next moment she found herself pulled out of the car by force and her arms were painfully locked behind her back like what they did to Daesung as well.

“Ssss” Minzy winced in pain subconsciously.

“Yah even if she is the one behind this don’t hurt her! She’s a girl.” The shopkeeper said making the guy loosen his grip around Minzy to not hurt her yet keep her with him.

“Yah yah what are you guys doing!!!” One of the police men shouted as the whole group of them made their way into the police station.

“We’ve caught this two stealing in my shop.” The shopkeeper explained.

“Stealing?” Another police men came by as he look around at the people standing in front, judging them. “More like you guys are kidnapping the two innocent kids.”              

“Yah what do you mean by that?!! Th--” one of the ‘brother’ shouted back at police but was immediately stopped by the shopkeeper.

“They are saying the truth officer.” Minzy said quietly making the two policemen look at her.

The two policemen look at one another, back at the girl who just said she was the thief instead and then back at one another, as if considering if they should believe what she is saying. For almost 2 minutes it was all quiet as if time has stopped while the others waited for the policemen to decide what to do while the two policemen made sure that they do not do something foolish and rush that could lead to undesirable consequences.

“Joo won bring the two of them into separate rooms. The rest of you come with me.” The other officer Jang Woo said.

With that, the group along with the shopkeeper followed Officer Jang Woo into one big room while Officer Joo Won joined shortly after he got the two suspects into separate rooms as told. The shopkeeper explained to them what actually went on, how long it has been when he or rather his mother notice things stolen from their store and how they caught him this time but the girl told them that she was the mastermind. After getting their statement, Jang Woo and Joo Won let the group of boys out of the room and for them to wait at the lobby while the two of them then head into the two separate rooms that held Minzy and Daesung captive.
