Once class was over I made my way to Hyuk Jae by shoving people to the side, but of course I apologized; I just needed to get to him before he left. He was putting his stuff in his bag when I reached to him; I smile at him, feeling nervous again. “I- I made you lunch” I take out a paper bag from my bag and hand it to him.

            He wasn’t wearing his sunglasses. He smiled at me a bit and then slowly took the bag from my hands, “Thanks…” He smiles his lovely gummy smile a bit; my heart drops, and I could feel the blood rushing to my cheeks. I gulp and stare at the ground. Calm down, I tell myself.

            I nod a bit, “Enjoy…” I felt my breathing becoming difficult.

            “I’ll see ya around.” He throws his bag over his shoulder, half smiles and leaves out the room. I just stare at him dazed and feeling my lungs giving out on me, but luckily Kibum pats my back and snaps me out of it.

            I quickly look through my bag while running out of the room and towards the bathroom; Kibum follows. I kept breathing heavily and fumble through my stuff; I grab the inhaler and quickly press it to my lips, press it and inhale quickly. I gasp and throw the inhaler back in my back; my breathing was slowing down. I placed my hands on the sink and lowered my head, I frown, “I’m so lame…” I mutter.

            Kibum patted my back, “Hey, it’s ok…at least he didn’t see you…right?” I look at the mirror and see his reflection, he smiles sweetly.

            “I guess,” I sit up on the sink and lean my head back. “I really don’t want to work today.’ I pout a  bit.

            “Why?” He frowns.

            I shrug, “Walking there then back home takes up my whole day…”

            He shakes his head and smiles, “Come on!” he grabs my hand and drags me out the bathroom.

~Later~

            I put on my bright orange uniform and white hat in the smoothie place called “Blenders.” It was a place where they gave out the best smoothies on the world and for the best price. I was putting some pineapple slices into the blender when I notice a familiar figure walking into the small place; I turn and freeze when I see Hyuk jae walking in with SungMin, his brother. Oh god Oh god just kill me now, I turn and try to hide myself with my hat but then one of the workers says, “Your turn to work the register!”

            I fixed my hat properly and slowly made my way to the front; I smiled behind the register, “What would you like?” I avoided his eyes and stared at the keys on the register.

            “I didn’t know you worked here…” He frowns a bit. “I come here all the time why haven’t I seen you before?”

            I blush and look at him, “I- worked in the back.” I point behind me.

            “Oh…” He clears his throat and looks at his options, “Well I usually always get the strawberry blizzard.” He turns and looks at his brother, “What do you want?” He puts his arm around the younger one, I smile at how sweet Hyuk Jae is with his brother.

            “Hmmm….I don’t know…” SungMin bites his lower lip. “I’ll try that berry one.” He points to a picture behind me; it was a new smoothie that was being sold.

            I smile, and press the prices for each one. “Ok total is four dollars.”

            Hyuk Jae slides a five dollar bill out of his wallet and hands it to me.

            I take it, but force my hand to not shake because of how nervous I felt. I give him a dollar and say, “It’ll be ready in a sec…” I walk off to work on their smoothies; I hummed a tune when I began to cut the slices of fruit in a white tablet. I placed the slices inside the blender and turned it up on high; I pressed my hand on the lid while the pieces were getting dismantled.

            Once it was finished I grabbed the cup and placed the smoothie inside, then I quickly worked on the next smoothie; I felt like I was taking too long but of course I wasn’t I was just being paranoid.

            Once I was done I grabbed them both and made my way towards them, making sure not to trip and fall because sadlly I am very clumsy. I set the smoothies on the table and smile at them.

            “Thanks.” Hyuk Jae smiles sweetly at me, but SungMin stays quiet. I knew he didn’t like me much, so I just fake a smile and walk off to where I belong. I exhale and start working on other orders, but my eyes kept wandering to the brothers sitting close by. I nervously fumbled through the fruits and my hands were shaking while I was trying to cut them. Calm down, I told myself again. God why do I always get so nervous? He doesn’t even notice me…

            I continue to work through the day and by the end of the day I changed, grabbed my bag from school and my books, headed out the door and walked home. I looked around at the dark sky and groan because I can hardly see where I am going; I put my hand in my pocket and stare at the ground as I walk. I hear motors nearby and felt my heart stop. I turn and glare at the biker boy that was circling me. I cross my arms and continue to glare at him, “What do YOU want?”

            He smirks and stops the motorcycle, he takes his helmet off and half smiles at me, “Want me to take you home?” He said teasingly.
