Hwa-young’s POV

Luhan was walking around, looking at the jewelry in the store. I wasn’t really interested and I didn’t bring that much money with me so I decided to wait outside. I stepped out of the store and waited in front of it while Luhan was still inside. I looked at the people who were passing by and making noise with their footsteps and their voice. I looked at my watch and was wondering when that Idiot would come out. *Aiiigooo!! When is he going to come? What is he even doing inside?? Hello, I mean, what is a guy doing in a jewelry store?!*

“Hwa-young? Hwa-young is that you?” I heard a voice calling as I looked up. I looked up to see Luhan’s friend walking toward me. “Oh, Kai! What are you doing here?” I asked as he stood in front of me with a smile.

“Oh, nothing. I’m just hanging around with my friends!” He said and looked back. I followed his gaze and saw ten boys including Sehun standing there looking at me. They were all smiling at me as Kai took my hand to pull me toward them. Now I was standing in front of them, looking dumbfounded at those handsome creatures.

“Aren’t you going to introduce her to us?” One of them asked. “Ah right! Boys, this is Kim Hwa-young, my classmate and Luhan’s childhood *cough* friend *cough*” Kai said. “And Hwa-young, these are Tao, Chen, Lay, Min Seok, Kris, Kyung Soo, Baekhyun, Suho, Chanyoel and you already know Sehun!”

“Hi, nice to meet you!” I beamed at them and they greeted me back with a warm smile. “Wooahh, she’s so cute and pretty!” Baekhyun said, making me blush as the others nodded in agreement. “I wished we were in the same class!” Min Seok pouted.

“By the way, what are you doing here?” Kai asked but before I could answer, a voice called me. “Hwa-young?” I turned around to see Luhan who just left the store, walking up to us. “What are you guys doing here?” He then asked as he noticed the boys. “We were heading to the arcade but Kai spotted Hwa-young in front of the store!” Kris said.

“So that’s why you didn’t want to come with us! Because you’re on a date with her, Luhan??” Suho asked. “What?? NO!! We’re not on a date!! Why would I date this ugly, fat, idiotic, baby-faced  jerk??” I said quickly as twelve pairs of eyes were staring at me. “Ouch!” Lay said as he looked at Luhan, trying to suppress his laughter. After one or two seconds the boys began to laugh loud except for Luhan.

“Seems like she doesn’t like you!” Chen said between his laughs and shook his head. “Yeah, aren’t you childhood friends?” Tao asked. “Aiiisshhh! Shut up! All of you!” Luhan glared at his friends. Immediately they stopped laughing and stood there dumbfounded.

“Hwa-young, don’t you want to come with us to the arcade?” Kai suddenly asked and their eyes sparkled. “Yeah!” I jumped and was excited because I never was in an arcade before but someone had to ruin it.

“No! We’re going home now!” Luhan said and I frowned. “Why?? What’s wrong with you? Now that I don’t want to go home, you want to drive me home!” I yelled and glared at him but he didn’t say anything.

“Don’t be angry, Hwa-young-ah! Let’s go together next time then!” Baekhyun said and ruffled my hair. “Yeah, besides we don’t want to ruin your date more than we already did!” Kris said. I narrowed my eyes at him, “I told you that we’re not on a date!”

“Whatever, let’s go now! Bye Hwa-young!!” Kai said with a little disappointment in his eyes. “Bye! It was nice to meet you! ”I said and we waved at each other before they left us. I glared at Luhan before walking the way to the parking lot, letting him following me.

Luhan’s POV

*Great, Luhan! Now she’s mad at you!* I thought as I walked behind her. She was angry because I didn’t let her join my friends. Why I didn’t?? Because I don’t like those weird boys that I know very well to surround my girl! However, as we got into the car, she slammed the door and crossed her arms, looking out of the window.

I looked at her for the last time before starting the engine. The drive was silent and Hwa-young didn’t even look at me. “Look, I’m sorry Ok?! Can’t you say something? The silent is killing me!” I would glance at her briefly but she still didn’t say a single word. I sighed deeply *God, Sorry that I didn’t let you go with them but I have a reason Ok?!*

As we arrived at her house, she immediately got out of the car, so did I. I followed her to the front door and she was about to open it but I stopped her. “Hwa-young! I’m sorry ok,?! I… I just… You know, I don’t like to see you around other boys so…..” I said softly. This time she was looking at me a little confused but at least she wasn’t ignoring me.

I cleared my throat and pulled out a little pink box and handed it to her. “Sorry!” I said for the last time before leaving her with my car.
