From somewhere in Europe he came from, but D.O. was never very outspoken about his past. Of course, Luhan and the others know from where and who D.O. was, but they kept quiet about it. “They are coming,” D.O. huffed. Everything around him turned and moved in strange angles; his body was shaky, but he could still walk. “Can you walk faster?” There was no way that Luhan could stop the bleeding. Blood was not effective on D.O. and only a healer could help him; a healer like Lay.

Even though Luhan was weakened through the multiple bullets he had caught and the still bleeding wound in his chest caused by Adales sword, he still managed to heave D.O. on his back. Blood warmed his back, and despite the situation, his nostrils widened a tiny bit. “Luhan, I am not your food.” Of course, D.O. had noticed his friend's reaction, but he didn't mind him, because Luhan was just a Vampire.

“I know that.” It took him quite an effort to jump on the roof. “Over here!” Someone called and a curse came over Luhan's lips. The sound of shots cut through the night, and Luhan ducked down a bit. “Hang on,” he whispered as he heard D.O's ache at his ear. “It's going to be ride. Please hang on.” D.O. nodded and tightened his grip, and Luhan started to run faster, ignoring the pain which grew with every step he took.

“Damn it, Luhan, you can't take this for too long.” D.O. could smell that his friend had lost too much blood, but he also knew that Luhan would keep going on, no matter what. Bullets flew past them, and Luhan ducked down. The silver scratched his temple and D.O's arm. As he looked back, he saw more and more hunters coming nearer and nearer. He had to get outside of the city as fast as he could, but it would be like running the gauntlet for him.

Suddenly, D.O. ached again, but Luhan couldn't look back. “Silver bullet. Grazed my back,” he mumbled, and Luhan suddenly jumped down from the rooftop in between the houses. The street was very narrow and small, but it would be harder for the hunters to chase them. “How are you?” As D.O. didn't answer, Luhan cursed and started to walk faster. “Vampire!” Someone suddenly called out. At first, Luhan wanted to flee again, but then he saw Minho waving at the corner. “Come over here! Hurry!” He could feel the presence of the hunters in his back, and he sprinted as fast as he could.

Minho closed the door behind him and locked it immediately. “Holy... you look terrible. Come with me. The others are waiting downstairs.” Luhan knew that Detroit was aded with tunnels and basements, and this house was probably one of those connection houses. “The others?” Luhan asked, trying not to show that the effect of silver worsened. He followed Minho down the tunnel, and he felt the presence of the others.
