Nervously, the servant held the plate on which some glasses with blood stood. He didn't shiver, and tried his best to tone down his fear. He knew that the King could smell it, just like every other more powerful Vampire in the room. Besides the King, there were six other people inside that room. Eve was the King's counselor and many people were sure that she was more than that.

Bright red hair and emerald green eyes; the woman was a wolf in disguise. A femme fatale with a delicate and soft aura, but she was as poisonous as a snake. The man with the white hair was everything else than old. He had the looks of a male in his young twenties, and he was actually a bit younger than Baekhyun, who was over three hundred years old. He had icy blue eyes and had the trademarks of an aristocrat. His clothes were neat and fit him perfectly, and the gold pins on his sleeves underlined his aristocratic looks.

Indeed, he came from a noble family. From one, who hated the humans and would do everything to enslave the humans. His family was so manipulative that they twisted his mind to the point where he had gone completely crazy. He was a brilliant fighter though and a tactical genius.

The other two people, twins, were a bit older than the white haired guy. Each of them had medium long hair length. The two of them were males and from a lesser heritage than the other first two. They were the leaders of the troop, which even the Vampires feared - the Sanguera. With an iron grip, they ruled and watched over the Sangerua like they were kings. Each breach of rule would be punished personally by them. They were feared, and people felt uncomfortable around them. Their deadly looking gray eyes didn't help get rid of that impression.

The other male was another counselor. A sadistic bastard with nearly black eyes and bright, brown hair. Tall like a tree, but very muscular and lean. The last one was the King's personal doctor. Not that he would need one, but he kept him around because of his abilities. Like all the others, he was feared. A calm and sharp mind with a cool temper, which let him keep control over any situation.

“Did you send one of your people?” The King asked the twins, and they nodded unison. “Was it really necessary to send him?” Cosmas, the oldest, asked with a monotone voice. “Elijah, if you want to see him dead so badly, you could have sent one of us.” Damian, the younger of the twins, said immediately after his twin. No one besides those six dared to speak to the King of the Vampires with his real name. Everyone else would have died immediately. “We needed you here.” Nathanael, the white haired male, said with a cool voic
