The MisfitsOnly once in her whole lifetime Hana had travelled by car, and she was so completely amazed by it that she didn't even try to hide her excitement. The car was a self made, long and big cabriolet. A huge smile was on her face, and her eyes were big and filled with joy. “She's like a child.” Sehun grumbled, and his face darkened as Luhan chuckled. “Is it bad?”
He found her childish joy really amusing, and it was actually quite the contrast to her suspicious and nervous self. What made him even smile more was the fact that there was actually nothing to see. The landscape was meager and sandy, and Luhan asked himself where she found that joy. “There is something. There!” Her smile disappeared out of her face; instead of that, a frown appeared.
Luhan and Changmin leaned over at the same time, and neither of them didn't have to narrow their eyes to see. “They won't reach us though,” surprised, Hana turned her head to Luhan, who looked quite grimly. “Changmin, I hope it won't mind you that you will lose your home.” Changmin wasn't really happy, but he wasn't really sad as well. “No, I don't mind.” He had more houses all over the territory of the humans and several apartments even in the cities. “What does that mean?” Hana was a bit pale around her nose, but Changmin patted her head softly.
“It's alright.” He assured her with a smile. Even though he seemed to have no attachment to the house, but Hana felt bittersweet as she saw the house getting torn into pieces from afar. “Three, two, one...” The house exploded, and Hana flinched. The car suddenly drove into a hole and made a small jump. Since she was a Vampire now, Hana wouldn't have fall out of the car, but an arm suddenly wrapped around her waist and pulled her back down. With wide eyes, Hana stared at Luhan, whose face showed a friendly expression.
As soon as he saw her expression though, he let her go. Changmin narrowed his eyes behind Hana's back; a warning gaze, which was directed at Luhan. “Don't worry. We will find a new home.” Changmin assured her. It hurt him to see her sad. “You knew that they would come for them, right?” Hana didn't know why she was this upset, but she finally turned around and pulled her knees up.
