“Don't do it. Please.” Those words echoed in Luhan's mind and he stopped every movement. “Please,” Hana whispered again while her grip tightened. Slowly, Luhan turned around to her but his whips didn't let go of Elijah. He looked at her with his empty eyes and Hana flinched slightly. “Why should I not kill him. Tell me a good reason not to.”

His voice was so cold and his arm still was raised. “Luhan, you are not like that. You don't kill people like that.” Despite her fear, Hana's voice was completely calm and she managed to turned him around to her. “I can understand why you want to kill him but not like that, Luhan. Not when you are like this.” Her hand cupped his face while her free hand managed to wrap around his fingers, which hold the sword in a tight grip. “You are not like him. You are not a monster.”

He looked at her without blinking and Hana feared that he didn't understand what she was trying to tell him. “We don't want to lose you. I don't want to lose you. We will find a way.” A way, where Elijah didn't have to be killed. Hana had noticed that despite his appearance and the way he talked, Elijah was extremely jealous of Luhan... and desperate, just like a little boy.

Suddenly, Luhan buried his face in her neck and pulled her closer. “You are really something,” he whispered into her ear, before he looked up again. Hana wanted to cry in relieve as she saw that coldness in his eyes had disappeared. “Elijah.” Luhan turned his attention towards his brother and the whips slowly let Elijah down. “I won't kill you.”

The look on Elijah's face was indescribable. A flood of emotions hushed over his face and he bit his lips. “Why?” Luhan's expression softened and he suddenly pulled Hana forward a bit. “Because you are my brother. Despite all your wrong doings, you are still family. We will find another way to punish you.” The blood returned to Luhan and disappeared in his body again. “Why? Elijah asked again and shook his head.

“Why is it always you? Father loved you, your mother loved you. Everyone loved you.” Surprised, Luhan raised his brow. “Father didn't loved me.” A bitter laugh came over Elijah's lips and he shook his head. “No, he loved you more than me and I was his first son. When we were alone, he always told me how much progress you made and how happy he was that he had a son like you. Do you know how I started to feel?”
