Mari was pregnant. Hana's whole world nearly collapsed and she wanted to scream and shout but no sound came over her lips. Kai wrapped his arm around her and pulled her closer. There was no way that Luhan could be at her side now, since he didn't dare to move. It wasn't difficult for all of them to make out who Mari was. Despite her different appearance, her scent was very similar to Hana's.

She was a beautiful girl, but she looked incredibly exhausted. Her cheeks were slightly hole and her limps thing. Compared to her big tummy, everything else looked so ridiculous. What was more shocking though were the children some girls carried in their arms. Some of those children already didn't look like toddlers anymore; they looked like young school kids, despite their age of a few month.

Hana was thankful for Kai's presence. She was so close to collapse mentally but somehow, Hana managed to keep her farce up. Her hands clawed into Kai's arm until she was sure that his skin would rip soon. “They are our new future! In a few month they will be ready!” Luhan's heart sunk as he heard his brother's words. Those were children, despite their looks. Bloody children.

He himself hadn't had received any drill until the age of seven. Worry spread inside him since he could feel the hunger of the other Vampires. It was not forbidden to drink from living humans but since there weren't any left in their territory, every would jump at living humans. Those girls were tabu though, everyone knew that but that didn't mean that they wouldn't hide their hunger.

“Let's have some more fun!” Servants with huge bottles of blood entered the room. Even on Hana, the blood had its effect and her fangs slowly grew bigger. It was only to her benefit though, or else she would have stood out too much. Kai's fangs could be seen, as well as Luhan's and the fangs of the others.

Eve suddenly led the girls to cages, which slowly came down from the desk. They all looked scared and frightened. Hana suddenly wanted to run to Mari but Kai pulled her back. “No, not yet.” Tears gathered in her eyes but she managed to hold them back. To calm her nerves down, she grabbed a glass with blood and took a sip. Elijah sat down and all the other Vampires moved and returned to their small groups to either chat or dance. “Be patient.” Anger could be heard in Luhan's voice as he wrapped his arm around her waist again and lead her to the side where D.O and Lay waited.
