The MisfitsSince she had no opportunity to wipe the blood from her arm, Hana didn't even try to hide her arm. The Vampires, tivitated and clean, looked at her with disgust and she had a hard time to hold back a sarcastic comment. She came to hate those new rich Vampires who thought of themselves as something better. “My my, what do we have here?”
The Vampire looked at Hana with disgust, but she only rolled her eyes. “Why did you kill those Vampires?” The corpses were sprayed all over the ground and their clothes were stained with blood. “They were after the blood, which the hunters bring every month. You should know how tense the situation between humans and Vampires are. We can't risk a war with the humans.”
Of course they knew that, but still... “They belonged to us. Why should we believe you?” The Vampire narrowed his eyes as they suddenly heard a loud honk. “Hey you, Vampire scum.” Jonghyun hopped out of the truck; he wasn't even scared of the Vampire, knowing that they were all talk, but there was nothing behind it. “Human.” Hana didn't have to be a Vampire to know that they hated humans. They hated humans from the depth of their heart, but they couldn't touch the hunters... for now.
“Well...” The Vampire sighed and rubbed his temples. “Guess it was their own fault. Well, then let us welcome you in Lincoln. Don't cause any trouble, understand?” The Vampires turned around and Hana heard one of them something muttering. “Those human-friendly Vampires are not any better. Scum, they are nothing like scum.” In the next moment, Hana's sword flashed through the air and pierced the ground right in front of the Vampire.
With wide eyes, he stared at the blade, which had cut his shirt at his shoulder. “What did you call us?” The Vampire paled, if that was even possible. “No-nothing,” he muttered, and Hana pulled her sword back. “We have to be careful,” Taemin whispered and Hana raised her brow. “There is something fishy about them. This whole city is corrupt. Let's leave as fast as we can.”
Luhan waited at the door of the truck, and he pulled her into his arms. He didn't care about the blood and cupped her face and kissed her. “You are fine, thank god.” Hana chuckled, but didn't touch him since her hands still were covered with blood. Changmin gave her a wet towel and she sat down on the ground. “Those Vampires... I have quite a bad feeling about them and about the city.”
