The MisfitsHana nervously kneaded her hands. Somehow, Lay made her nervous now, and she knew that he knew it. By the time he turned around and flashed her that small, nearly sorry smile, every doubt inside her disappeared. “We are not dangerous.” There was truth and untruth in his words, and Hana didn't know what she should think of it now. “I doubt that.” His expression fell a bit, and he turned around.
That girl Luhan turned was not as dumb as the other women he had met before. She was not driven by fear and panic as a woman in her condition should actually be. Either she had some incredible nerves of steel or... she had pushed everything that had happened to her behind solid and thick walls. That was dangerous, and Lay knew that it was only a matter of time until she would have a mental break down. “You are most probably right, but we are no bad people.” He whispered and opened the door.
She stopped and eyed him closely, but she couldn't read him, not a single bit. “That, I am not sure of.” A strange smirk appeared on Lay's face, and he closed the door. He had seen Sehun's gaze, and he had seen that he thought that the girl was nothing special, but there was something interesting about her. Sure, she wasn't outstanding, but still... what he couldn't understand yet was why Luhan had turned her though.
Luhan sometimes had a quite jumpy thoughts, and Lay always wondered what his friend thought sometimes.
“You want to go over there.” Changmin stated, his legs crossed, his gaze dark. “There is something going on there, and I want to know what it is. No one wants to talk because no one knows what's going on there. Whatever they do, they keep it under high security, and you know when we keep it under high security, no one will ever find something out.”
Changmin knew that. Vampires were masters at hiding something or someone, and there were many things going on over there from which they didn't know about. “You know that they will kill you as soon you enter the palace.” He meant the royal palace of the royal family. It was a common knowledge that the Vampires had quite a strong hierarchy. On top was the royal family, born Vampires, strong, powerful and dominant.
Under them were the chieftains. Rich, strong, quite snobbish and many of them saw humans as food, but everyone of them followed the rules because they knew that they would get into trouble with the royal family and its secret force, the Sanguera. They were special selected Vampires, no matter from which rank, which could execute those who broke the rules.
