The MisfitsIt had been quite a while since Hana had seen a city at day. The people looked much friendlier and less scared at day time. They felt at ease and safer since they didn't know that Vampires could even walk in sunlight.
As Hana looked up, the only thing she could see were the dark, cloudy streaks. “No sunlight.” She whispered and pulled her coat closer around her. It wasn't very cold, rather warm due the heat of the industrial district, but shudders ran down Hana's spine. Vampires didn't feel any cold or heat like humans did, nor could they get ill like humans. There were illnesses which only Vampires could get, of course, but those cases were rare.
“Is that a problem for you?” Unfortunately, the ones who accompanied here were Kai, Sehun and Luhan. One was downright strange, the other one despised her and Luhan was... difficult to judge. “No, of course not.” She muttered and looked around. She had seen pictures from a couple of hundred years ago and there hasn't been many changes. Clothes in the shops, food, bakeries and sweets, the usual stuff. Things she has never possessed and probably never would. “Hey, don't slack off.”
Sehun's words made her flinch, and she looked down immediately while she sped up. With an inaudible sigh, Luhan slowed down his walking pace until he was on par with her. “You definitely have to learn how to hide your presence.” Hana has noticed that the people stared at them, but at her especially. “Sehun, I'll see you later. You know where.” Sehun nodded, and Luhan suddenly grabbed her wrists and pulled her into the next street. “Wait! Luhan!” Hana called aghastly as he stopped after a couple of meters.
“You have to learn how to hide your presence, right?” Still aghast by his sudden action, Hana could only nod, and she stared at him with wide eyes. “Then you have to learn from the best.” Hana suddenly felt Kai's presence in her back and as she glanced around, she looked him directly into his eyes. The best, Luhan had said. Was Kai the best? Somehow, Hana doubted that. Good, yes; the best, questionable. “We will practice over there.”
Right in front of them was a street full of people, and Hana's eyes widened even more. “How are we going to do this?” Unsure, she looked at the two men, who looked like they would communicate with each other through their gazes. “First of all, every person, every being, has a distinct aura. We can hide it and we can use our presence as weapons as well.”
Kai, who usually hid his presence, let Hana get a glimpse behind the curtain. It was like a sharp wave would hit her. Kai's presence was like his pet falcon; dangerous and animalistic, and he didn't even show her everything he
