The Misfits“I guess you are not a messenger then? Hain raised his brow at Taemin, who shook his head. “Figured. “Then you are Taemin himself?” A grin appeared on Taemin's face and the man shook his head. “What a brat. You surely have some guts, don't cha?”
Hain tapped his finger on the arm of the throne replica, his face telling that he was deep in thoughts. “I never thought to see you brats ever again,” he muttered. It had surprised him, really surprised him to see Luhan again, and thanks to the potion he hadn't been able to recognize him again. Then again, should have been able to recognize Luhan by his presence. “Did that brat's presence change so much?” It was more a whisper to himself than a question directed at Taemin but he expected Taemin to give him an answer.
“Oh, to be honest, I was surprised as well as I saw him again. He really changed since the last time I've seen him. Maybe that's also thanks to that girl, you know? She is someone quite exceptional. Hain's eyes widened and he gasped. “She's an elf?” A chuckle came over Taemin's lips while he sat down on one of the chairs. “As sharp minded as ever, him? You are only partly right though. She's half elf, half fairy.” Who could mind him though for mistaking Victoria as a pure elf, considering that fairies usually were really short and more child like. “What a bunch... and that werewolf prince is still there. I thought he would return to Europe. Guess Luhan's ability to fascinate people and to make him follow him is stronger than I can remember.”
He remembered it very well; a scene at a small fountain. Luhan was surrounded by the few children which lived in the royal palace. They had stared at him like they would look up to a real leader and at that moment, Hain had realized it: Luhan was born to be king, even if he still struggled against it. Sooner or later he had to accept that fact. “What is his true intention?”
Taemin raised his brow while crossing his legs. “There is no hidde
