ǁ T - TWO ǁ

There was a small unknown bistro in Paris that already being Jessica's favourite place because it's served Korean food, especially kimbab and kimchi fried rice. That bistro was located in a small path and rather far away from the crowds. Beside her mother, the only thing she missed about Korea was its foods.

In the other hand, Taeng didn't like that place and Korean food that much. Although he was completely Korean. He prefered to order samgyeopsal as his dinner food. Well, at least that food looks good.

"So, where have you been this week? If you still remember, you already promised to pick me up at the airport. You know how long I've waited for you? If you couldn't pick me up, you can call me, right? Is that the reason for you to buy a mobile phone, isn't it? To call someone else?" Jessica asked while munching her foods.

Taeng did not immediately respond it. He held his smile and trying to convince his shelf once again that he prefered the talkative Jessica rather than Jung Jessica who pretended not to recognize him.

"I know what's running on your mind, right know. Don't you dare to say that I'm a nagging person, Kim!" Jessica threatened to the guy that sat right in front of her.

Well, the two have been friends for god known how long it was. They met for the first time when Taeng invited to attend Jessica's father new restaurant in Quartier Latin. Taeng had confessed to Jessica that at first, he thought that she was an adopted child because Jesssica was too different with her father. Jessica's father, Monsieur Hanney was typical of European, tall, handsome, with light brown hair, sharp nose, gray eyes, and pale white skin, while his daughter, Jessica Jung has a dominant characteristic of Asian, with a brunnette hair and white skin, but not pale. But, actually if you look carefully, she also has a prominent nose and a pair  of cute gray eyes, just like her father. These combination of east and west made Jessica Jung has a unique face, attractive, and not easily forgotten.

"Hallo? Do you want to explain why or should we wait until the snow falls down, Midget?" Jessica said with a frowned.

"Alright. I am so sorry." Taeng carefully said. "I am sorry because I couldn't pick you up at the airport and didn't call you back."

"Where have you been?"

"Tokyo."

Jessica blinked her eyes for a couple times. "Tokyo? Japan?"

Taeng nodded. "That time my father was in Tokyo to take care of our company. Last saturday, the day when you go back to Paris, I've got a call that my father suddenly faints in a middle of the meeting."

"Oh...Tae I'm sorr---"

"Don't worry. My dad just tired and his heart has a bit problematic. So I have to fly to Tokyo to replace him. I already told you about the plans to build hotels in here, isnt it?" she just nodded.

"Because my father has to rest a few days in the hospital, I have to continue his work." Taeng continued. "I do not have pretty much time to call. Plus a big time difference between Japan and France, so I couldn't find a suitable time to call you."

"How is your dad now?"

"He is healthy and already back to his work as usual. Typical an active person." Taeng said.

"How's your mother, Jess?" Taeng asked.

"Mama? Like usual. She is been busy designing accesories."

"Not married yet?"

"Nope. I think Mama doesnt have any plans to re-married again. Just like my father. I think."

"So, is there any hot news from Korea?" Taeyeon asked. He didn't really know about her family, but that guy loved to hear Jessica's story.

"Oh yes, I met my niece." Jessica muttered in between.

"Which one?"

"The one that living in Korea, of course. I just found out that her boyfriend is a singer." Jessica said then suddenly changed the topic.

"By the way, how's Japan? Have you find any pretty Japanesse girl in Tokyo?"
